On the fourth round of Quince swatting off soldiers you hear a great rumble from behind. About a hundred feet behind the wall a great rift opens up and the soldiers begin to pour out of it.

The elf Bites back a curse as he finally lets the othe side of him take over as he leaps straight into combat!
His shape blurring as his form shifts into one more suited for such close form of combat, he lands with an astounding crash and swipes his mighty paws across!!!

From the pile of crushed enemy soliders, Stands a large Bear with a Fox Head!!! It might have being amusing if not for the fact that a single blow sends several soldiers flying and they're starting to realize that this particular bear is more then your average trained bear as it executes a drop kick on a gaping enemy.

Wild Shaped into Bear with all my current enhancements. lol

"Enemies within the gate!" Quince calls out in Celestial and his aide then echoes. "Archers keep eyes to both sides of the wall."

Quince hurries toward the rift. "Foot men, riders to the rift."

We had spoken previously about having a force that Jorne or Saren wanted to lead outside the walls. They have a target now.


She quickly counter commands, "Delay that order we have too many of our men between us and the invading force. Archers focus on the outside. Footmen and riders to the rift!!!"

She then begins to orate, "Come my soldiers face our foes, protect the innocent and do justice for our kingdom..." She continues to inspire the crowd around her and those who can hear that fight the invading forces.

Stirring Monologue (Su): 17 rounds per day, +1 attack and damage.
At 1st level, the paladin can deliver a stirring monologue on the ideals of justice and fairness, motivating allies and persuading others. This functions as bardic performance as per a bard of her paladin level using Perform (oratory).

Having returned with Lykan, Stalker, and Selena he pivots and falls down the inside of the wall. As he falls he speaks into the ring, "Katrina, we are going to need your vines to stop the forces from going further into the kingdom. Oak Street will likely be the best option." The rest of you can hear him and could speak into the ring as well if you wanted.

He hits the ground and nimbly lands upon his feet. Then he charges forward with extra speed!

She quickly states, "Okay, Oak Street..." A melody of sylvan lyrics quickly floods Oak Street. Most nearby quickly take shelter not knowing what was going on. Then massive thorny vines sprout from the ground. A literal wall of thorny vines that cuts off almost half of the city. The vines grow to about 60 feet tall, and if you get to Oak street you think the vines likely fill the entire street.


Lykan drops down from the wall to stop the progression of monstrous soldiers from the far side of the wall. Selena drops down beside him and releases a flurry of strikes from her claws and sharp teeth. Arrows continue to pepper the monstrous soldiers as they come forward. Though their momentum is stopped by the fox headed bear. Stalker's arrows break through shields and cut through his foes. Elizabeth begins to rain down a few fireballs to give Lykan a bit more breathing room.


"To Oak Street then, to rain down lightning when the advance is halted." Kendryl takes off and can quickly see where the enemy is massed, unable to advance.

Your fly spells are still in effect, how long do they last?
The fellow fliers follow Kendryl and the one with the call lighting wand begins to bring down the pain.

The vines lash out at the monstrous soldiers, some becoming tangled up before being pulled into the thick collection of vines.

As he moves toward a group of soldiers he pauses with them and blesses 6 of their weapons.

Align Weapon Communal: Good unless there is a better option. 1 Minute Each.

"Square up. His aide translates his orders and the 8 of them finish their rush toward the rift.


With Quinces guidance and spells the soldiers square up on Quince as their wedge formation slams into a wall of soldiers. You can see that on the far side Jorne and a group of soldiers are holding them back. Meanwhile the third section is being dealt with by a massive hell hound.

Within minutes most of the monstrous soldiers are dead, the few that surrendered have been marched off to the jail. Do you want to go through the tunnel or back to the wall, or somewhere else?

Is the guy with the wall of fire wand around here? Cause a wall of fire running along either side of the tunnel sounds positively devious in the best way.


Quince quickly calls as a devious thought comes to mind. The soldier with the wand come along within the next few minutes. In this time Jorne, Larina, and Ash jump down the tunnel and head to its front.

With allies moving into the tunnel. Quince moves in as well. Sceptre at the ready.

You find the tunnel strangely empty though you hear fighting going on towards the other end of the tunnel. With a rush forward soon enough you come out of the tunnel to find a fox headed bear swatting and decimating the goblins, monstrous soldiers, and other creatures. The creature is not without taking its own licks as it bleeds from many open wounds.

Really. A bear with the head of a fox might not be so intimidating after all.

It takes about 10 minutes to clean up the monstrous soldiers, at which point the last squad and the bloated rot covered boar rider charges forward.

He aims for Quince with his lance but in a rush Jorne moves to his liege's side to deflect the blow.

Round 101

These soldiers are more monstrous than the ones before also baring the appearance of rot. You also should reup spells as they cease, post any previous rounds before 101 at your choice.

Lykan how long can you be in 'bear' form?

Being in the tunnel means you don't see what is going on outside.

Lykan is likely well out of time for his bear form and has resorted to back up and support with ranged attacks.

Excellent post Kendryl but we need to finish the year advancement. So that will be a great first post starting the next module. Which I will work on when I get home on the 10th. I am sure if you want to roleplay anything out in that time we can make it work.
