Some information about my character:

My dwarven cleric has stonecunning and can use Good Fortune (Ex) (reroll one of his d20 rolls as an immediate action) 1x/day.
He uses door sight and bit of luck quite often - he can use each ability 9x/day. :-D

@Fellow Pathfinders:
Maybe it's a bit early to talk tactics, but please consider this:
Anyone who often rolls a d20 in a combat round (attacks of opportunity, BAB>5, archer with rapid shot, anyone with parry/riposte, ...) might want to get a bit of luck from me.
It uses up my standard action, but you have 2x the chance of hitting (and critting!) for one round (it even applies to saving rolls!).
Therefore, you might want to be after me in the order of initiative (and maybe have to delay in the first round).
I used it before in several adventures on an archer and a swashbuckler with really good results. :-)
So please inform me if you want this buff in combat. Thanks!

That Bit of Luck might be very helpful to my phantom. I should probably add him to the group.
Klaus the Phantom is a front-liner. Inga likes to cast ghoul touch and have Klaus deliver it.
Inga is a support caster, party face, & full of knowledge skills. Basically, she's very similar to a bard. This will be my first time playing her in PbP.

I should also mention, Klaus has the Aura of Fury ability.

Aura of Fury: (Su): When the spiritualist reaches 7th level, as a swift action, the phantom can emit a 20-foot-radius aura of fury. Creatures within the aura gain a +2 bonus on melee attack rolls but take a –2 penalty to AC. Ending the aura is a free action. The phantom can use this ability in either ectoplasmic or incorporeal form.

So, he can activate it as a swift action, then quickly turn it off as a free action at the end of his turn so nobody gets the -2 to AC, unless they don't mind the -2 AC. In that case, he will just leave it up.

Currently the APL is 7.7, which will put you in the high tier. This is quite a challenging scenario already, it will be more so for anyone playing up (thinking mainly of Grunjar here).

Yes! Luckily, it's a swift to activate & a free to turn off. He'll mainly do that on his turn, depending on action economy, so nobody else is affected.

After looking at the APL chart in the Guide to OP, I think we can still do high tier with 4 player adj. since we're still under 8 APL. Right?

To determine APL you first round to the nearest whole number. 7.33 -> 7, 7.67 -> 8.

A party of 5 to 7 characters whose APL falls between the two subtiers (after rounding) plays high tier with the four player adjustment, unless no PC is actually in the high tier in which case the players can elect to play the low tier instead.

(See p.11, PFS Guide Season 10).

If we play high tier without adjustment, so be it.

I will spend some gold on improving my equipment and also buying new gear (already working on a list, will update my profile tomorrow).

@all:
Out of combat healing is covered with wands. Can anyone else help out in combat, if necessary?
I am also open to suggestions regarding equipment and spells. Feel free to post! :-)

I really like this thread about what items to have. Be sure to check out Level 3 & Level 5 list. I plan to lend out a couple wands to other members that can use them.

There are plenty of other good threads. Also, I like to go through other people's PbP character sheets here on Paizo, especially some of the well known experienced players, to see what items they have. That's how I found out about the 5 cheap ioun stones I just purchased, among other things.

I've been reviewing Inga & Klaus' abilities over & over and have discovered some abilities they have that I was unfamiliar with before. It will be nice to have plenty of time between posts to discuss tactics and have time to decide which abilities to use.

I'll post more when I think of other stuff.

my dude's a skillmonkey, but no slouch in combat. hits like a truck for a rogue, and has magic capabilites as well(+13 UMD...and wands to buff with) just wrapping up a scenario this weekend, monday at the latest...the paizo site's login screwups have delayed the game a bit...

That was wierd. Klaus' stats & header switched to Inga's. I had to keep trying to edit it for a while until it finally stuck with Klaus' stats. Hopefully, it stays that way.

I once did a big edit on one of my character profiles, and it saved as a different character entirely overwriting one of my profiles that I was using in a current play-by-post. Fortunately the Paizo IT guys were able to restore a backup that was more or less accurate, and it's only ever happened once, but weird stuff can happen on the forums :o

Yeah, weird. It's happened to me with a couple of my 2e PCs in the past, too. I had to just keep trying to copy/paste and hit "save changes" 'til it finally stuck.

Replaced Klaus' imp nat atk with toughness, btw. Yep, INA doesn't stack with his increased damage.

I was thinking of the Hex Nails also. They're Pretty cheap. I own the complete set of Reign of Winter. Good stuff in there. Also, since there was mention of "otherworldly" sounds or spirits, I'm thinking haunt siphons. Inga is good at dealing with haunts.

Besides endure elements, what about some kind of shelter? Rope trick or tiny hut?

rope use is the more economical choice...tough call...i'll buy a scroll of rope use...

No. It's on one of my chronicle sheets. Check your chronicles for partially charged wands. Usually you're limited to purchase just one. There are quite a few out there.

Edit: Rallas, I just looked at your list of chronicle sheets on your profile. You have several chronicles with partially charged wands for purchase. Some of those chronicles have some not-very-common awesome goodies, too!

The Waking Rune

Any item on your chronicle sheets is available for purchase. Limitations are always noted. Very occasionally there are mistakes or clarifications that apply (usually on older scenarios), do ask if you are unsure about anything.

You still need to own a source for the item, unless all of the rules for the item are printed on the chronicle sheet.

Frostbreach requires some investigation by the pathfinders. There are a number of places of interest that you can explore, talk to residents and important citizens, and so forth. Some places / citizens may respond to different skills or actions (in addition to the usual social skills of Diplomacy, Bluff or Intimidate). Be creative.
