I've always thought that the wayfinder you brought here is still in the door socket. But there's nothing saying you could not have removed it after the door was opened - so I'll allow that
arcana: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
You've most likely not seen anything like this before but it does appear to be some sort of magical trap which is now active. The aeon stones orbiting look very sharp and would fly out to hit anyone who approaches who is not carrying an archaic wayfinder. Shutting it down would require removing at least four of the aeon stones from the center - a rather difficult task. Anyone attempting to do so needs to make a thievery check for each stone

Marta will attempt to disable the trap.
Marta is expert in Thievery. How do you think she accesses all the restricted parts of the Arcanamirium library? Their magical countermeasures might be top-notch, but their physical security, not so much.
Every round I will cast shield and then use the other two actions to attempt to disable the trap. I also have the Wary Disarmament feat if I accidentally set it off by critical failure. This should give me +2 to AC/save and hardness 10 against the trap.
Thievery: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23
Thievery: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22
Thievery: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (16) + 13 = 29
Thievery: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26
Thievery: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22
Thievery: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16
Thievery: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14 I will use my campaign coin hero point to reroll
Thievery: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18
Thievery: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26
Thievery: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (14) + 13 = 27
Thievery: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26
That will be 1 minute's worth of actions.

Marta disables the trap with the first four rolls.
Franzine Morgenstern

Franzine holds her breath as she watches Marta deftly pluck four orbiting aeon stones from the nexus.
Taking a deep breath, she sighs in relief that the trap didn't go off.
Phew. Outstanding, Marta.
...
Now what?

There is the door to the side room. Going in there, you find a workshop. A collection of clockwork tools, shattered aeon stones and rotting piles of vellum fill the shelves in this crowded workspace. Large metal panels removed from the facility’s walls lie in the center of the room; etched into these panels are meticulous blueprints for a wayfinder identical to the one Muesello lent the party. A signature on each panel reads “Preserver.”
You also deduce that the wayfinder has an arcane assistant activated by speaking a password last updated 3,405,829 days ago.

Looking sheepishly at Marta do all the work, Larrathion adds, "So, er... Not to be a downer, but why did we need to disable this? If we don't come near, it shouldn't go off, right? Nevertheless, free Aeon Stones, nice."
In the workshop, he pipes up. "Seems this is voice-activated, somehow. Should we activate it? Don't want more of those wooden things to show up."

"It was dangerous to leave it here. Besides, these aeon stones could be useful to the Society."
Marta looks at the etchings.
"We should make a copy of these. I had heard the lodges were starting to get rubbing tools in stock again. It's too bad I hadn't had time to procure a set for myself yet. I'll have to to my best to drawing it by hand."
Marta takes out her writing set and gets to work.
"If you don't want more of those things to show up, then I wouldn't try to activate the assistant."

With the records in hand, you return to the Kingfisher. Muesello, thrilled by the discoveries, rewards each of you and promises them the first opportunity to obtain the next generation of wayfinders.
Fishing is done on the way back.
That is the end of the scenario. Each of you have earned 1 xp 1 Fame and 1 Reputation for any faction associated with your currently slotted faction boon. There is no secondary success condition. Could I have rolls for your downtime activities please

That was quite the expedition. Luckily we all survived and got some special wayfinders to bring back.
Thank you for a wonderful time, everyone. I hope to adventure with you again in the future.
Franzine has a relaxing journey home aboard the Kingfisher. She chats with her companions or helps with keeping everything ship-shape.
Her eyes go big with excitement when Emdi mentions having a rave.
I love to dance, sing, and perform! I participated in an extravagant ball on the isle of Bhopan just a few weeks ago. I'll be there!

At the rave, Franzine dances the night away and chit chats with the other party-goers. During peak hour, when the club is at near total capacity, she joins the band to sing an aria with an upbeat tempo.

Nope. That's like, two copper? I don't think I've succeeded at a single Earn Income check yet. >_>
