A sturdy wooden table near the center of the room holds the lightning-charred corpse of a bald human man with a broom-bottom beard. Smaller tables and bookcases nearby hold the gore-spattered spoils of a recent battle

You check the corpse and realize that this is a former companion of Rozimus, slain by the claws of a large monster. He bears the glowing yellow sigil of Vuzhon on his left hand.

While the others are debating, Patrick examines Vuzhon's symbol with a Detect Magic to see if it has other properties.

As soon as you enter this room, the skin of the tiger animates as a shroud upon a spectral form and is looking around.

In that case I stand corrected. For some reason I had the idea he had the hand with the yellow sigil on it Please insert it and see what happens.

His nightmare dragonette looks like it is trying hard not to giggle as Patrick steps over to the blue door to check to see if it will now open.

Well, the good thing about guns being so noisy is that everyone is going to know combat has started.

Ignatius gets into his crane stance and then standing on one leg he reflexively fires his musket at the spectral tiger.

Iggy shouts out, "I have a ghost here! Can somebody tell me how to deal with it?". Ignatius continues staying in his defensive stance, but steps back and loads his musket with ghost salt treated

She steps (5 ft step) so she can get a better look at the spectral tiger. "Now, there's your problem Iggy. It's a ghostly tiger. Let me see if I can help."

Standard action: Use the hex Misfortune: spectral tiger has to roll twice on all ability checks, attack rolls, saving throws, and skill checks and take the lower roll for 1 round (Will DC 18 negates)

Move action: Use the hex Chant: extend Misfortune b 1 round.
