"Aye, aye Captain," Chorizal answers.
He opens up a channel to Colrid, or at least tries to.
"Can you join us, Colrid? We've pacified the hostiles at this site and found your lost herdmates but they're secured in a way that we can't break. We're wondering if you can get them out."
He pings over their coordinates.

Vyviane looks over Cho's shoulder and adds in, "If you wait a second I can send you the medical data, please tell me you have someone in the settlment who's got some training in medicine or biology? Our group
of Starfinders seem to lack an ounce of it."
She sends over the data she found on the computers as well.
After getting a briefing on what has transpired (and assurances the place is otherwise safe) Colrid arrives with a couple of the more learned dromadas. They use the lab equipment to synthesize a reversing agent for the shimmerstone serum. Injecting the dromadas and zrulicats with it cures their aggressive behavior.
You escort the abducted dromadas back to the Star Treader herd, they embrace their friends and family members while Colrid smiles and takes in the sight of faces he thought he’d never see again reunited with the clan.
“Thank you for returning our people to us. You are one of our herd now, and you will always have a place here with the Star Treaders. This talisman is a symbol of that connection. You need only contact us to learn where we roam. In return, we will contact the Society to inform them of any interesting locations our travels take us to.” Colrid holds out a set of pendants woven with multicolored hairs in intricate patterns.
“I have one more favor to ask of you.” He continues. “When we are done here, will you allow me to visit your ship? I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with my old friend Ehu. But first, tonight is our celebratory grazing. You are welcome to attend before you depart.”
He awaits your replies...

Chorizal is glad that there are people around with more smarticles than him. He wouldn't have felt right abandoning the dromadas and didn't relish the idea of sitting around this base guarding them until someone else from the Starfinder Society could get to them. Especially given what happened to the last vesk who had the task before. He shudders at the thought of sitting around playing vid games all day.
When they get back to the herd Chorizal takes one of the pendants dubiously. "It's made out of hair..." he mutters. Given the fact that he's got scales, that's even stranger to him than it might be for mammals.
He seems just as thrilled with the prospect of a "graze" to celebrate, but he does attend.
"Haw, haw, haw! As far as I know, you're still a Starfinder in good standing and it's not our ship, it's the society's. We're just borrowing it. That means you have as much right to board it as we do. Although, I wouldn't appreciate it if you took it on a joy ride and left us here," he responds to Colrid's request, clapping the man on the back heartily.

Rastar accepted his pendant with a slight bow. "I would be delighted to have you join us aboard our ship. And I am sure Ehu would be as well. Thank you for your support, and for giving us this chance to help your people. I know dromadas like to wander, and if any are feeling particularly adventurous, I would like to extend the invitation to join the Starfinder society. You, more than most, know that not all of us take on deadly missions, but travel and exploration are among the core tenets of the Society."
Colrid explains "The necklace is woven of hairs from the hide of every member of the herd, so that the herd is always with you"
The celebratory grazing is accompanied by the herd watchers joyfully singing in their honking language while the others graze. The watchers and grazers periodically switch positions in rounds so that the song doesn’t end until everyone eats their fill. The dromadas prepare a feast for the you to enjoy while they graze.
Mulrid presents a plate of toasted herbs and seeds, Soorid provides roasted fish from the river, and Trisu offers a basket of fresh picked berries. After the meal, the dromadas engage in playful roughhousing in the fields, and cheerfully invite you all to join them. Eventually the dromadas all gather in the sleeping module and tell stories of important and brave dromadas, including their founder Colrid. Colrid himself adds a new story at the end, telling the tale of Starfinders coming to save the tribe from poachers.
Especially the tale of Space Admiral J'Shun Kay, who bravely lead the team of Starfinders - whose supreme wisdom gave them guidance, his sheer charisma gave them joy and dissipated their fear, and whose valiant sacrfice by selflessly throwing himself into harms way set all the conditions for his team to manage a victory - without him, they surely dwell in darkness and despair - he is the one born of fire, a candlelight of hope in their otherwise dark world.
When you return to Kagzala’s Jewel, Colrid follows you in the shuttle hidden in the clearing. He and Ehu clasp hands in a warm greeting before strolling off to a meeting room together to catch up. Colrid departs a few hours later, thanking you once again for saving his herd. The Starfinders are free to resume their tour of Near Space.

Vyviane is relived to see that the dromada make it out of their tanks safely and psychologiclly sound. She does take a moment to find the most medically inclined member in the group that Colrid brings with him, and starts to butter him up hoping to hire the dromada as a consultant for missions.
Back in the village she gives a smile at the invitation to stay for a night and see how they celebrate. "I'd love to see what a grazing is like!" ...and see if I can't fully convince Kelvad to be a consulatant.
Vyv finds the dromada rather inquisitive and even somewhat interested - the more scientifically minded dromada, Kelvad, suggests they would be open to going on a journey with the Society to see new things and broaden their knowledge "Provided they don't have to go too near danger, have plenty to graze on, and won't be shot at".

Chorizal enjoys the party. Though he focuses on the fish, it is largely out of preference and not any dietary requirements. And, anyone paying attention will notice that he has his fair share of the berries, too.
When the wrestling starts up, he happily participates in the wrestling contest and is even careful not to hurt anyone.
As the night winds down, he joins the rest in the sleeping module. He likes a good story as much as the next sapient being but throughout the story about them, he has a bemused smile on his face.
And when the time comes, he waves his goodbyes to the dromadas but is clearly eager to get to his next mission.

J'Shun eats his fill of fish and berries, enjoying the chance to eat fresh, organic food as opposed to R2E's as he's used to.
During the competition in the fields he stays on the sidelines, content to coach the players taking part in the games. Some of his choice encouragements include:
"Corporal Isafira, keep your eyes on the ball so when it's passed to you your tiny hands don't drop it."
"Private Third Class Rastar, that is the 2nd time you've been penalized for rough play.... keep it up."
"Private Mars, if I catch you not playing defense again you'll sit on the bench for the rest of the match."
"Captain Chorizal, don't let Corporal Isafira throw the ball anymore, she couldn't throw it in the ocean even if she was swimming in it."
During the recitation of the glorious exploits of J'Shun he listens intently and nods knowingly as Colrid tells the story.
When Colrid is finished he stands and says, "What is best in life?"
A young dromada answers, "The open steppe, where we can graze all day at ease."
J'Shun shakes his head in response and then says, "To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women."
Everyone stares at him dumbfounded before he says.

Vyviane takes a hearty portion of the berries, fish and seeds, relishing the chance to get fresh foods. She loads it on a plate and then decides to go and join the herd in the fields as they graze, trying to stay close to Kelvad and chat with him while she does.
"Oh, I would always make sure that you were in a safe place and had food to eat. It's important to ensure people working for me are well taken care of. You'd either stay on the ship or be put up in a safe place in good lodgings if some were available. Mostly I'd need you to identify things when I send you pictures... You know you could probably stay here as long as we set up a strong interstellar communications array."
Vyviane gladly participates in the games, but after she gets warned by J'Shun that she should keep her eye on the ball more, she feigns tripping and 'hurting' her ankle. "Ow! OW! Ow! Idon't think I can play on this anymore. Private Kay, you should take over for me!" She limps up to him, passes the ball into his hands and then insistently pushes him out onto the field, before taking a seat on the sidelines and watching.
