Turq. As to light, dim light is the beat you get at any time on the surface. Once you dive into the tunnels it just gets worse. Best to assume unless a room description specifies some form of lighting, that you’re going to be in need of illumination.
Also if you want to use the Cert for the coco, I’m fine with it.

Emmett has used the Light cantrip already as well.
Earlier, I described lighting a torch in this cave. I was asking about the dim light because I felt like it would be difficult lighting a torch in complete darkness with no dry areas around to lay the torch. That, coupled with Emmett's light, I think we should be covered. I may hand the torch to someone that doesn't use two hands in combat though, otherwise, I am dropping that bugger. ;)

Understood. I know that one of the themes of this season is more of a horror aspect. So perpetual darkness should take some form in any adventure run here I think. For dwarves used to being underground, that may not be a thing but for others it could have more effect.

You’re not wrong. I kinda felt the same way when reading the adventure. AL may be letting the hard cover do the heavy lifting horror wise. My story telling could probably be better as well.
Seeing that none of the otters approached him the eladrin gets up, dusts his butt off of any remaining snow and waits for a plan.

After reading some of the character options, my biggest disappointment is that they somehow didn't think to include Protection Fighting Style as a suggestion for the hoplite Battlemaster build... XD I mean, it is part and parcel of their tactics!
That is true. That is what they did.
So, looking at it, I may have to go Champion or Battlemaster, because I really want to take one or two of these feats from Tasha's...
The other alternative is that I take Cavalier from Xanathar's and dip 2-4 levels of Ranger...

No, bladesinger is legal, they just didn't have any comments on its usage. It can be used as written in Tasha's.

You can access the dice in My Collections -> My Dice.
You can access the backgrounds on your character page clicking on the Gear icon next to your character's name.
