That's fine as well. I tend to be very open-minded when it comes to PC builds, so it'll be rare for me to veto Feat selections and such. XD

Cool. FWIW I have very few concrete plans for that feat but I think it has ENORMOUS potential. :D
Let me see if I can rejigger the order to my liking.

Next question: does this enhancement bonus interact with my Searing Blast attacks in any way? (Attack, Damage, both, neither)
It affects the attack roll but not damage.

I decided to keep the plan I'd made up, which has my level 5 feat as Extra Combat Talent, taking Parry & Riposte.
GM, how do we work this in play? For the rolls, I'm figuring something like, when I post my turn, throw up some directions on who/what I parry (Does a parry have to be declared "Before hand," or can it be open ended like, "Parry the first guy to connect with me?"), and put in one or two rolls for the Parry and Riposte, like so, right? (If I pass on the Riposte, I'd only leave a single roll there.)
Gladius Parry: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
Gladius Riposte Attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
Gladius damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 Slashing
EDIT: For the record, that right there is one sorry-ass P&R! :D
Open ended is generally the easiest way to handle "reactive" actions in PbPs. Saves a lot of time. XD

Dammit, the copy/paste of my level 5 stuff blew away some of my equipment. I think I had a scroll of false life, potion of invisibility, and some doses of vermin repellent. I'll throw those back on later.

I think what happened was, for the level 5 update, I copied all the text of my statblock out to a Google doc, made the changes, then pasted it back in here. But I was trying to be "efficient" or something so I copied it out quite a while ago, so I could plan out what I was gonna do for level 5.
The lesson here, kids, is that source control and reconciling changes is important. :)
EDIT: that might have also screwed up my money count, but I'm not so sure there; the count looks good.

Yep. I'll get it next level though. These are Maca's changes thanks to the level up:
Soul Weaver 5 / Cleric (Channeler) 3 - Paladin 2
-Able to cast 2nd level spells
-Magic Talent: Restore Capacity
-Extra 1d6 to Channel
-Feat: Quick Channel
-Skills: Heal, Influence, UMD, Kn (Divine)x3
-BAB increases by +1
-Enhancement bonus of +1 to a lot of things (still need to put it in the sheet somewhere)
I think that's all, more or less. Thanks to Quick Channel, Maca can Alpha Strike for 5d6+5d6 channel damage in a 30ft radius, at the cost of 2 sp and 3 channels per round. Not very sustainable, but nice burst, I guess.

I have to be more mindful of using the best talents for any given moment. I picked up Feint Strike but I don't think I've even used it yet. Move Feint, Swift Feint Strike, Standard Energy Strike seems like the kind of turn that can give an opponent a very bad day.
Quick Update: I'll be traveling June 17-21 and won't have computer access. I'll check in via phone but won't be able to update Gameplay until I get back. In the meantime, you'll have about two weeks worth of downtime in-game, so feel free to RP in Gameplay once you're done with any last-minute level-up adjustments. When I get back, I'll add some city news and a few mini things based on your downtime activities, and we'll go from there. XD

So I'm trying to come up with, for lack of a better term, a "map" of what Caravan signs Ril has in what location. First off, am I overthinking this stuff? :) Second, if I'm not, here's what I've got so far:

Lantern Bearer: Hips/Waist
Newlyweds: Back
Bridge: Behind the ear
Daughter: Ankles
Rider: Shoulder
Patriarch: Forearm (L)
Wagon: Biceps
Pack: Legs
Mother: Forearm (R)
Stargazer: Back of the neck
Stranger: Under the chin
Follower: Stomach
Once I get this to a place I'm happy with it, I just have to decide which ones she's already got, and take it from there!

Idle musing of the day, Homebrew Edition.
So the Swashbuckler is absent from your Homebrew class designs. Which I think makes sense from the standpoint of "If we're using SOM, just play a fighter and get a crapton of equivalent stuff." All well and good, makes sense based on what I've seen here the last 9 months.
My question would be, if one took levels in a PRC that dabbled in panache and deeds, would you leave it as-is, or just give a certain number of Combat Talents instead? (When I was noodling around some alt character concepts, I was specifically looking at the Devoted Muse, as the idea of a finesse-glaive-wielding murder machine was kind of humorous.)
Yes, the Fencing and Duelist spheres render Swashbuckler's irrelevant. XD
Panache is fine as-is; in fact, a few classes on my website use it or an equivalent. Deeds vs talents? That's not something I've thought about, to be honest. I'd probably keep most deeds as-is, with the notable exception of opportune parry/riposte. That's better as a Combat Talent - maybe with the ability to spend panache instead of martial focus or something.

Investigator gets deeds powered by 'luck', and that's essentially the same as panache. XD

I'd been looking up info on Shelyn, when I saw a pic of a pretty badass-looking character that led to looking at that PRC. Who knew? We decided that, when drawing Ril and her tattoos, it's probably clearest to just draw the line art of the constellations, with the understanding that the shift to pictures happens "off camera" for lack of a better term. Otherwise it might be harder to visually parse. The artist's character has a decent chunk of tattoo work so I was inclined to take her advice. :D

Hi guys.
You know, when I said a few weeks ago that I would be a bit busy... well, that was the biggest understatement ever :P Summer time has arrived, and with it, business time. Got yet another job (yeah, I know) and time seems harder to find than unicorn blood.
This is a trio game, one that has a big roleplaying background. Sadly, I haven't been able to keep up with it, and I won't be for at least three more months (Summer season). So, with all the pain that comes with it (because I friggin' love Macaria and I friggin' love all yall), I think it's time you get the third PC you really deserve.
I hope you're not too mad at me, and that you enjoy every minute of Macaria as an NPC with her new orphanage :P
