Berbalang (Help Me Rezdave)

In the 1981 Fiend Folio is the Berbalang. Does anyone know if there are any adventures in Dungeon (or elsewhere) that feature berbalangs?

The only source I know of that they appeared in, was in the back of the 1e supplement "OP1: Tales of the Outer Planes" as nothing more than a "lair" type encounter...

I have it in my mind's eye they were used in a White Dwarf (magazine) D&D adventure, but that could be a false memory. And really hard to track down even if it's true...

Wow. I remember that from 32 years ago, but today, thought it odd a friend's car wasn't in the driveway--which it was, that happened yesterday.

I thought there was a Dungeon Magazine which had a small adventure with the Berbalang as well. Can't remember the issue right now though.

If you do both, people will simply assume they're tears of joy. Also, that you're probably crazy.

I read "The Ruins of Nol-Daer" last night -- it's really nothing at all to do with Berbalangs. Behind a secret door is a closet where a Berbalang is in stasis cuz he's off in the Astral via his Astral Projection. He's less, I think, than even a random encounter.

Fun little read though. More importantly, it gave me two cool NPC followers of Graz'zt, a Cambion and his Sorcerer mentor, Arzial (or something). Always cool to have published minions of this or that Fiend.

There is a dungieon adventure early years before 2000 it was low level 1-3
