Hi everyone!

Please dot into the gameplay thread and feel free to discuss characters. Factions' Favor uses Mummy's Mask, so you may want to keep Triggers and the Scourge Table in mind.

Once you've decided, please register the character on the orgplayonline database and post the following information:

If there isn't any strategic reason to use a particular order, we can use posting time to set up the initial turn order.

Kulko Logging in. This is my first precore PACG Season apart from having played the app, so I hope I dont Mess things up too much.

my IOdea is to play Drelm from The Mummys Mask Character Add-On together with the Ultimate magic Add on.

Hope I have understood correctly whats legal, so far I only played Adventurers Packs with core.

I am currently on holiday, but will return on 30th of august to setzup my character.

Suggestions of better choices fpor characters or decks are highly welcome, but currently I only own all of the Ultimate XXX decks and one POccult Adventures deck apatrt from the base set.

Here's my Deck Handler.

The best way to handle this usually:

Gi under Account Settings --> Messageboard Alias
Create an Alias named "Ukuja (Gothic Artificer)" and choose a matching picture.
Open the alias and click on Profile
Create a new profile.
In the Line Gender enter {url=TheLink}Deckhandler{/url}
In the Line Classes/Levels enter | {url=https://pacg.fandom.com/wiki/Ukuja}Ukuja {/url} | Hunter class deck

Save and use this alias to do all your posts in this campaign. That way the Links will be there whenever you take a turn like you see with alase or Drelm.

IMportant: Whenever I used {} in the examples above please use [] instead. I needed to replace this with something else, otherwise you would not be able to see it.

Also I could not open the link you posted. Did you share it as viewable for everybody?

[color=red]BYA Ukuja suffers the Scourge of Poisoning[/color] Also mark this in your deckhandler, as it will have a lasting effect until healed.

Ukuja Banishes the Javelin to add 4d6 to ranged combat check. I think Banish was overkill. Banish means you lose it completely so you should only do this in the worst cases, or with things yu only need temporarily. OTOH Bury is not much better as you still lose it for the scenario. In general I use anydice,com to guess dice rolling chance or calculate like this: 1d10+2 + 2d6= 10/2+2+2*6/2=13 > 11 so I probaly have already a 65% chance at least.
Now that you have banished the javellin you need to gte a new weapon after the scenario, but that can be aanother Javellin. But be careful with higher level items which are not as easily replaced.

Ukuja Range attacks Lurking Spy:

Ranged: 1d10 + 2 + 4d6 ⇒ (2) + 2 + (6, 1, 5, 3) = 19 [color=red]Defeated by 7 or more [/color]
the more than 7 thing is a special condition which can be found under During This Adventure or During This Scenario.
[color=red]Shuffle a random Monster (Geniekin) in my location deck[/color]
The geniekin can be found under random cards --> Monsters --> Spoiler #2. You have to choose spoiler #2 because i had a similar result and used up #1

[color=red]Ask Amhotep for remove curse.[/color]
Scourges are bad, therefore Amhotep should remove this immediately with his remove curse. Its okay to assume he does if he has noted it in available support in his hand.
Now you can strike the scourge of Poisoning again in our deck handler.

Ukuja discards Fox to continue exploring the location.

The deck is shuffled now so you must randomly find out which card you draw. #1 (the spy) is not in the deck anymore so I used that number for the new monster

You should always note the DC in any diceroll for easy reference

You rolled 3 and needed to roll 9. For any check to defeat this means you take the difference (9-3) as damage. Since you have not enough cards you need to discard all of them.
If you have a armor you can often bury it to reduce all of the damage so they help in such a case.

Ukuja ends his turn.

You must draw cards up to your hand size again. This is not optional.

Tactically it was probably unwise to explore a second time.
But remember you have the Power You may discard a card that has the animal trait to evade a bane you encounter.
You could have used that to power to avoid the whole confrontation with the Magma spirit, just discard the dog.

This is not a valid play

The only combat skills you can use without revealing a card are
Strength or Melee

Ranged can only be used with a Card that tells you use ranged e.g.
Longbow
For your combat check, reveal to use Dexterity or Ranged + 1d8.

short explanation on discard/recharge

Discard:
Put the card on top of your discard pile. (usually from your hand)
In the discard pile its not usable anymore unless healed in some manner.
Sometimes Powers also discards hands from the top off your deck or some other location in which case you discard it directly from there.

Whenever you take damage and cannot prevent it through armor or other means, you discard 1 card per damage from your hand immediately.

Recharge:
Put the card at the bottom of your character deck.
from there it will slowly rise thorugh your deck until you can use it again later.
Recharge from your hand signifies you use the ressource and it needs rest to be used again. Also there are some powers, like your third one, which recharge cards from your discard pile, which is basically a slow kind of healing.

Heal
Healing works siilar, you take a certain number of random cards from your discard pile and shuffle them into your deck. thats better then recharging discarded cards, beause you do not need to wait until they rise through the whole deck.

Reload
is even cheaper than recharge, as you put thigs on top of your character deck, meaning you cn be certain to draw them next turn again.

On the older cards these effects are sometimes not yet named (reload and heal where only added as keywords later. but the effect described is the same.

If undefeated, you are dealt 1d4 Combat damage. Then examine the top card of your location deck. If it is a bane, encounter it. If it is a boon, banish it and examine the top card of your location deck.

Ukuja attempts a Dexterity check.
[color=red]you decide to roll a basic dexterity check so you only had a 30 % chance of success. For a check against a bane thats quite bad. You had multiple other options here.
You could use your Power to evade costing you only one card, but alos an exploration
You could also bless your check, giving you a second d10 and a chance of 64% of success
Or you could use the explorers Staff to use the Disable with two extra dice. Unfortunately you don't have the disable skill so it would have meant 1d4 as base dice but the DC is also lower. Tehrefore 3d4 give you a 84% chance
And lastly you could have combined the blessing and the staff for 4d4 and a chance of 98% and still costs you the same two cards but without loosing the chance to acquire the next boon[/color]

I think the verdict is still out if you can for example use sunburst to swap say a spell for a weapon and then use a loot replacement for a different weapon...Certainly reasonable to rule that only one replacement allowed that is for sure.

I'm pretty sure they specifically disallowed chaining replacements; I used that strategy a lot when we went through PluTo and had to stop when we learned it was a no-no. My vague recollection of the reason was that since the Loot exchange and Trader trades happen simultaneously, by the time you complete the Trader trades, the window for Loot exchange is already also closed.

Since Merisiel has yet to obtain a level 1 Item, I would suggest Ahmotep gives up the Ally 1 for her.

Since I have seen that Holy light is a Level B Spell in the class deck I don't really need a spell 1 upgrade for it and could refer to ahmotep for his second choice (spell 1).

but of course thats Ahmoteps decision.

Thanks for the offer. All good. I built my deck using only B Basic cards, so B Blessings are great upgrades for me. I actually prefer that to the Ally 1 in hindsight. Please stay with the original cards
