My character is ranged, but I personally don't mind us not having access to magic, makes it interesting ;)

However, if you would RATHER change, by all means feel free. Just don't feel obligated on my behalf.

Hey, just heads up I wil be away from internet & cell service Monday- Wednesday afternoons. I will try to reach cell service to check the adventure once a day.

I will add a section on my character sheet for botting instructions for combat, for anything outside of combat... her higher skill bonuses probably won't come into play: acrobatics, handle animal, profession (equestrian acrobat), & ride. But she can assist rolls for: perception, diplomacy, kn. History, kn. Local, stealth & survival.

She is fairly curious so she will stay near the middle of the party to keep abreast of what is going on, unless there is a specific combat danger in which case she will fall to the back to support with her bow.

FYI my camping plans got waylaid (mountain is on fire) so I'll be more available than expected.

By my count, Tianna is only down 4 hp, but it's worth asking anyway... I have a wand of CLW, and a rank in UMD, but I need a 20 to activate it. UMD says the is no penalty for failure - so does that mean I can take 20 on it? Just sit there trying til I get it right? Normally there is a divine caster in the party, so it hasn't been an issue so far.

Well take 20 assumes you could potentially roll a nat 1 on the UMD check.
A 1 on the roll, if the total result is not meeting the 20 required, 'locks you out' of the item's use for 24 hours.

I have heard that rule before, but... ah there it is. Had to look further down. Also specifies that you can't take 10, so take 20 is out of the options too, which means this wand is functionally useless. Dope.

FYI for those on your phone, you can edit the slides (move your character) with the google slides app, but I still haven't figured how how to copy an image to a new slide, so you will probably still need help with that part at least.

I long-hold the image and a pop-up menu has "copy" on it. Then if I long-hold on the other slide it has "paste" as an option.

Hey, this came up in another group, so just curious at what point you bot someone? Like, should we all have Standard Operating procedure for botting instructions on our character profile, or... what?

I, personally, try to keep a 24 hour timeframe before botting.

Sometimes less, if there is a time limit (such as Con/gameday).

So, this guy (no matter how annoying) is the lawful guardian of this area, right? If so, Tianna's not going to just take him out in order to do what we need to do here. But we're not really getting anywhere with distracting him...

Ideas?

Looking at the season 10 Grand Lodge goals, would this count as:

Participate in an adventure that directly assists an NPC Pathfinder agent or agent of an allied organization, such as by mounting a rescue, recovering an important object, or defending that group's resources and reputation.

The only other goal I can see achieving for this session is maybe forgoing downtime but that was the very first profession roll we made before the game, wasn't it?

Of course you can still forgoe your downtime.

You helped a venture captain which is an NPC and this was an important find of documents which are objects. So I am fine with that.

Ooh, also: GM Nowruz were you planning to report this session through the website? Because it isn't showing on my list yet. No rush! Just checking. I know not everyone does.

With cons/events, the GMs have a link they report the game at.
Paizo HQ does the processing of all the sessions. With an event, it is to be expected this will take time.

The earliest thing players get, are chronicles.

oh okay I just asked because one of my other games already is showing up that ended about the same time. thank for letting me know!
