Akmon the Cyclops is saddened by what the halflings have done here. I believe he is also saddened that this place which was once a glorious temple became a house of sacrilege when some of his people turned to evil practices. I was going to suggest we burn the halfling's bodies, Sellerig, yet, your words have true meanings. Right, then. They shall be buried.

Sobek inspects the morningstar found in the cubby.
This is a finely crafted weapon. Very nice. Cold-iron as well. It is well-balanced and simple enough for any of you to wield.

You open the doors to the south and find this room is nearly bare, no doubt its treasures lost to time and looters. Two cavities sit in the western walls of the room, each filled with a giant, monstrous skeleton.

Akter,Serellig and Sobek:
The Sight of the Cyclops reveals that this room once featured bas-reliefs of grotesque forms decorated with gold and various gems. The skeletons are replaced with bodies of immense apes, Approximately ten feet tall placed in their cavities by robed cyclopes, while nearby mourners wail and scream. “The first ngoga and his consort,” intones Akmon. “Disgusting monsters, but pitiful in their own way. The prayers for the dead must be said over them to appease the family spirits.”

Nightkit was about to break one of the giant sized chairs so she could use the leg as a club when combat was over. She then resumed helping the others with interring the bodies and bones.

Malign presence huh? She then pauses in thought. Didn't Purpurrup say something about a trapped fiend around here?

If you need a good weapon, Nightkit, you're welcome to carry my war flail. It is a sturdy and powerful weapon. Sobek gestures to the heavy flail hanging from his belt.

That trapped fiend may be in the room at the base of the steps. We should investigate that area.

Before the part moves to bury the bodies, Serellig takes his already-drawn wand and pokes himself and Sobek twice and Boaz once assuming we can just take the average of 5 for out of combat healing with a comment of, "May Gozreh keep us strong for the challenges that lie ahead of us."

Then, with the help of the party, the bones and the Halfling bodies can be buried in the soil to nurture future growth.

Thanks Sobek Kit replies as she takes the flail. All I got are stabby weapons and I remember someone saying they're near to useless against skeletons.

And yeah. Once we've interred these guys, I'll sneak down and do that

She takes a few practice swings to get the feel of it.

Akter pulls his weapon from the undead, flipping it to clean the blade. He closes his eyes briefly, as if praying, but immediately adjusts himself back, sheathing the sword and pulling his bow.

I'm probably more useful with my arrows than my sword, despite this... Lucky swing here. - he says, admitting that it's not his forte.

Poor Boaz, the dice just hate him this game!!

"I'm afraid I'm not well versed in curses, my brother, but I have no doubt The Wind and the Waves can blow away the taint and purification can wash over you. Here," and Serellig places his hands on Boaz' shoulders, bows his head, closes his eyes, and says, "Gozreh, may you drive this evil taint from your faithful child that he may be protected and able to do your work. Cleanse him and guide him in your ways," and he casts guidance on him.

This curse may be reflected on Boaz’s chronicle sheet

This long, wide hall is littered with thousands of smashed and broken relics, idols, icons, and statuary of all kinds. An enormous door, slightly ajar, sits at the end of the hall. A meandering path has been cleared through the rubble with discarded torches still sputtering in the far corner of each turn of the path

Akter Serellig Sobek:
The Sight of the Cyclops reveals a parade of cyclopes passing through the hallway carrying armfuls of religious tokens, casting them to the ground and stomping them into rubble with open joy and howls of laughter. Akmon’s voice is barely able to hold back his tears. “The greatest blasphemy of them all,” he says. “Every shred of evidence of the old faith—ruined beyond repair. Only by clearing away this wreckage respectfully can the sun and moon be appeased.”

Perception checks please before you enter the room. Also marching order and are you following the cleared path or travelling through the difficult terrain
