Eldon marks the kayal, and then stabs it. Nali's two arrows make quick work of both.

The group heads out and back down the main corridor to the final unexplored door. The sign above this high door reads “Biological Oddities” in clear lettering, while a dark reflection of the same sign warns that the room beyond contains a “Ritual Chamber.”
Harsh, cold light floods this room from the ceiling, gleaming off the marble walls and shining across the polished granite floor. Myriad pedestals display stuffed creatures suffering from unspeakable deformities, and liquid-filled glass tanks hold the shrivelled bodies of even stranger anomalies. In the room’s center, a wide ebony pyramid rises ten feet off the ground; darkness seems to flow out from its top into the air like ink in clear water. Indistinct rune circles, candelabras, and idols cover what can only be the site of barbaric sanguinary rites, occupying the same space in the Shadow Plane.
The 10-foot tall black stone pyramid exudes an eerie black essence from its apex, which seeps into the air and slowly dims the illumination of the room, but not enough to change the mechanical light level. Surrounding the relic’s apex are a dozen bloodstones set into the rock face. The implements of unspeakable rituals lie scattered about, including bloody sacrificial knives, vats of unidentifiable liquids, rune-etched stone idols, and a massive summoning circle surrounding the central dais.
Standing beside the dais is the thin gray form of Uthil Mak, overseer of Wightir House and executor of the Penumbral Accords. Kneeling before him, the Blakros daughters, Eleanir and Michellia, sway in a sort of trance as Uthil Mak prepares for the ritual branding by coating a thin knife in a strange black liquid.

Arin casts a spell. Eldon is about to say something to object, but the spell is completed before he can say anything. Uthil stares at Arin, his twisted lips sneering with defiance as the spell passes through him harmlessly.

When he sees that the Blakros daughters are fine, he immediately starts to detect magic and analyze the room.
“Look everyone: [i] Surrounding the relic’s apex are a dozen bloodstones set into the rock face, from which a strong aura of conjuration and illusion emanates. Removing or destroying the bloodstones should end the effect and sufficiently sabotage the device to prevent future use!“
Xiao starts to remove the bloodstones to take them with him.
Nali Faina

"Wait,"Nali says as Xiao begins to reach for the stones, "Is all we need out of building? People freed, and all? We should make sure." And before anyone goes to stop her, she runs back into the hopefully enemy-free building, checking that all the slaves they found are out of the building. After the double check, she'll return and nod, gesturing for him to continue.

As the last stone falls to the ground, the transposition of the Material and Shadow Planes instantly ends, and reality snaps back to normal. Any remaining fetchlings and branded slaves vanish. This includes Uthil Mak’s body, the Wightir Conjunction, and the room description elements from Shadow Absalom. For all intents and purposes, the Pathfinders - along are now only in the Blakros Museum.
Eleanir and Michellia Blakros awaken from their trance, dazed and disoriented. They thank the Pathfinders for rescuing them and assure that their family will hear of the heroes’ bravery.
Hamaria, having seen the Wightir House disappear, rushes into the museum, holding her daughters tight. She is incredibly grateful, granting the Pathfinders the rare privilege of keeping any loot they may have uncovered while in the museum, and turning a blind eye to the fact
that some of that loot may have actually belonged to the collection itself.
"I don't know how you did it," she says after she's composed herself, "But I finally feel secure in freedom from the Penumbral Accords. In this case, in thanks to the Pathfinder Society, the Blackros family offers even closer collaboration between our museum and the Society on future endeavors."
End of scenario, although you're free to roleplay any questions you have remaining - If you're unfamiliar with the Blakros family, I've played several scenarios (both before and after this one) so I have some knowledge outside of the scenario. Otherwise, thanks for playing!

Thanks GM! It was fun!
Xiao is still agitated by the fact that this family has based their power on a trade that meant the death of so many innocent people.
"Be glad that you have your daughters back. And contemplate about your actions of the past. I hope that a spark of guilt will lead you to a path to understand that all life in your community matters. Also those of slaves!" he says.

It was no mean feat, madam. But be careful of your future dealings with those of the less savoury type. There might be repercussions for this, I fear. If you need us in the future, we are but a summons away.

This scenario has suddenly brought sense to Blakros Matrimony. Thanks for running it!
