Realizing his divine guidance won't help the Shining Knight at this distance, Luli reaches instead for protective magic. "Spirits of roots, grant your sturdiness and strength to us," he prays, and reaches for the human in the dark.
Casting reach protection from evil, using a 2nd level spell slot to do so. @Shining Knight, you gain a +2 deflection bonus to AC and a +2 resistance bonus to saving throws against attacks and effects from evil creatures for the next five minutes.
