Hey team, just a quick update, im going through some stuff irl, and been really busy. Will update this weeek, and hopefully we can wrap up this module soon.

I hope everything turns out okay! Take your time on this stuff, I don't like people to be pressured by games.

It is sad to see, but I have just been informed that our friend Darven, has had to drop from the game for life related reasons. Still here if people wish to keep going.

Note, we are very close to the final part of the module, but not quite there yet.

Definitely here to finish. Could we bot him for the rest of this part, then recruit for part 3 (though, I get that'd be rough to find somebody who just needed part 3).

I apologize. I've been completely unable to get back to a reasonable posting rate despite completing a project at work. Since we're at the beginning of part II (or III), maybe it's best if I withdraw at this point?

Hello, I just wanted to let everyone know I will be away from access to computers and unable to post this Saturday, 2/27 (all day). I will be back and able to catch up early in the afternoon (US/Pacific time) the next day. Bot me as needed.

Alright team, then i guess we should call it here then. It's a real shame that we couldn't get through the entire thing. I am happy to give you the final chronicle regardless though. What would you prefere?

Is it too late to recruit in a replacement? Or have one of us run a replacement pregen to finish?

Well, we essentially have 2 players left from the original group. I am also getting much busier IRL and have less time for posts, which is why my posting has dramatically decreased in 2021.

I'm good either way. Trying to find folks this late in the mod would be tough, and having the GM play two NPC PCs would be even tougher--for Tealk anyhow. ;)

Take any dough we would need to spend to find the next encounter out of Pietro's upcoming bank deposit. Otherwise let me know and I'll take the 500gp out now.

If it helps, we could run the pregens. Otherwise, I'm flexible.

Yeah, they go 1, 4, and 7 in the official download; and 1, 7, and 12 in the NPC Codex (which are also legal to use in Society play).

Pietro, what do you think of recruiting replacement fellow players (if 9-10 level core characters are still active) and a new GM to relieve our busy friend? Perhaps if some players needed Part 3, they could play the end of part 2 for no credit and continue on?

(I find it hard to just quit and give up after such a long run that we had here :D)

I don't mind, but I am/have been REALLY busy too (hence my recentish post slacking). 60+ hr work weeks for the last several COVID months, and plans for this coming weekend. So I might not be a lot of help in the short term as far as finding time to help recruit.

Okay, fair enough. So the only thing left here is a chronicle for whoever cares. Telos certainly does, I'd like to try my hand at seeker level play *soonish*, as this is in fact my highest level 1st ed character in PFS.

I actually have time tomorrow (technically today now where I am) to do stuff. But yeah, a chronicle for whatever we've done would be nice. Pietro (at present) is my second-highest level character next to this character, who is 1 XP away from 10th.

Looking it over, it looks as if you are about halfway through the module. Was your request looking for a replacement GM?

That, or whatever paperwork we need to wrap on.

Continuing would be difficult without two more players.

By the looks of it we have all leveled once at least (even the three who are no longer here), but without a chronicle sheet.

I'm not entirely certain what chronicle info you need though. Do you need a list? The next chronicle number for Pietro would be 9. Eight was the last level of Thornkeep.

Other than that, there is Telos "PaleDim" Downshot who will have to supply you his info, and that's it.

At the end, Pietro an myself were the only active members. The others seemed to have disappeared and then the GM got busy too and decided we'd call it a wrap at this point. I wasn't clear on how far we were through this final part of the trilogy.

As I look back, I'm actually thinking we missed a lot of reporting. We did all 5 parts of Thornkeep, and all the way through Cradle of night up to this point (all in CORE mode). We're missing the last part of Thornkeep and I think all three (or two and partial third) of Cradle. So, admittedly I should have noticed that sooner but we were actively playing until recently and I hadn't given it much thought beyond the chronicles.

Aaaaand I just noticed this note on most of our thornkeep reports, and the tomb of righteous repose (which we used partway through to bridge a level gap to align with the later parts of thornkeep):

"Character is incorrect organized play type PFSRPG for table of type PFSPFC." so I guess our characters got auto-converted from CORE partway through?

Hrm, guess I should have paid closer attention along the way. Honestly this had been a great group up until it sort of went defunct. We got through Thornkeep in just over a year, which was pretty awesome.

Mainly wasn't sure who al was still active that needed to collect chronicle information for. Or if you even still had enough players for a table.

I can swap you back to Core. It just means down the road someone reported a game as standard rather than core and converted you over.

I have all of Pietro's chronicles. I think the GM was emailing them direct so maybe check there PaleDim or in your Paizo private messages tab.

I have chronicles through the end of Thornkeep, so none from Cradle yet. I believe he was telling us XP, prestige/fame and gold for the first two parts of Cradle, presumably until paperwork could be done.

Our reporting ends with the 4th part of Thornkeep. Screen incoming Tyranius.

Yeah, I'm just seeing the shadowy corruption-thingy on both, and realizing I don't know or have rules for any of that stuff, but can pay prestige to get rid of it which I am guessing is a good thing?

WOOT! I have coin and prestige (to spend upon my hideous shadow corruption and gain Returned from Shadow 1 & 2), but it looks like my level has already been accounted for in-thread. Even still, WOOT.

After his death at the end of thornkeep Telos is a little short of the 10 pp (grimaces). But hey, one scenario to RP a hideous corruption through sounds about right for the experience (the RP "experience", not XP :P)

I'm getting rid of the shadow corruption for two reasons. One, it doesn't really fit such a cheerful and avuncular fellow as Pietro, and two, I have no idea what any of it means. ;)
