Just wait the week or five days. Though I suppose folks don't have anyway of knowing exactly how long it will take without some sort of healing check. Pietro will eventually rouse via natural healing, and then (at STR 1) can pray for nothing but lesser restoration that day.

That's the thing, to wait out a week or five days you need somewhere safe to do so, and no where is currently safe for you.

Not trying to push you, but there are multiple ways of dealing with this instead of 'waiting'. The adventure does not account for you waiting out a long period of time, but if you choose to do so, i will need a full party decision.

So what's the plan?

If thats our route, spellcasting costs 1/2 what scrolls do, and Desnans should be used to helping out Caydenites who wind up unable to move after ‘heroic’ deeds.

I'll abstain though I love the idea of "Weekend at Pietro's". The party could use him as a 350 lb. 75 hp sandbag, a door jam, higher ground, or even a small dam in a half-drowned tunnel.

Well, if we're going to go make a plea with Desnans, maybe there are some more options there, like that they can shelter us for a time.

I doubt it. Telos is trying to figure out how to do exactly that without giving away our position. Here's hoping the see invisibility casting didn't ruin.

@Will, good question. As the GM i am also very much surprised by this course of action, however, i am at the will of you as players. From the conversation, there is much you can learn from this foe, depends on how you want to pursue this.

@Telos, they can, you just think they cannot understand the conversation. Also, if you were a foot soldier, and your big bad boss lady was speaking to herself and another strange voice in a language you do not understand, would you barge in?

I'm lucky to live in a place with a well-established mail-in (not just absentee) system. Been using it since '15, got to vote 2w ago, and track it to "counted" status.

Yeah, I actually had an absentee ballot (that I turned in to the poll workers today at 7am-ish). I felt it necessary a few weeks back to stem a possible Election Day tide. Since I normally am up until 5 or 6 in the morning figured I would go early, and get a place in line.

Oddly aside from today and tomorrow I won't be. My normal job schedule is 10.5 hours a day, 45 minutes away, 5 or 6 days a week, but today I am off until Jan 2.

As for our halfling ranger, being an occasionally (very busy) GM myself, I find it easier to pass on posting in games I play in (especially if I am playing a redundant roll, or a quieter-than-Pietro character) than in games I am GMing where it is imperative I post to move things along pretty much all the time. And of course it's embarrassing to post in game after I've been gone for a few days.

That said, we are a party of 5 so adding someone is not really an issue except that they would be coming in half-way/two-thirds of the way through a module they might want to play all the way through. We might be forced to play with a party of four, but the characters we have cover most of our bases regardless.

Will go back and reread and try to think about reborn after Christmas. Been doing Christmas stuff lately on top of work stuff, so its been a busy December.

Agree with our Boisterous Cleric. When real life slams you, it easier to post as a GM than a player.

He should have at least replied to you stating one way or another. I'd say we can put out feelers for a replacement. It may be tough since we are part way through a module.
