Well, *Cough* That was exciting.

He turns back to the druid as he puts a fresh cigar in his mouth.

So were those the things that killed your wolves? Or are we still looking for something out here?

Noala looks shaken by the combat. She takes a moment to notice what Elo said, then replies.

"It was people that killed these wolves, some of you if I'm not mistaken. But what afflicted them before they died is what I'm interested in. These bushes may be another symptom of that, or they may be something else altogether. But thank you for putting them down. Alone I would surely have died."

Val, I don't think so. Nothing in the cleric spell casting bit says you can. The devine font gives you a bunch of healing spells per day which I think is supposed to balance that.

Note that you can use simple medicine checks to heal too, and to stop the persistant bleed effects. Have a look at the medicie skill. It's really useful.

Steetch moves up to the cave mouth.

Steetch:
but he can't see much inside. The darkness doesn't hinder him much, but the entrance curves around, almost like a spiral stair, so he can't see into the cave without going further in. There is a fairly strong smell of death though, and perhaps something more.

The rulebook wrote:

So yes, only one treat wounds action per hour. That said, I'm happy to use Elo's roll instead of Calvus', just not both. The fact that it's 10 mins per check means that if you try to heal everyone it becomes hours and you get hit with random encounters makes up for that flexibility :D

In the sdame vein, I'm assuming you keep Steetch close until the healing's done, even if he goes in first to reccon.

Steetch:
Steetch moves further in to the cave and finds what is obviously a wolves' den. There is a dead wolf in the middle of the cave, and two very much alive wolves prowling. They don't seem to have noticed Steetch yet.

Elo is still standing a healthy distance back from the cave mouth, and isn't keen on entering it.
