I gotta say this is exactly what I would have done as a DM so please don't worry about sour grapes here. Levitate doesn't let me move any way but up so, I had no where to go.
Well levitate is a concentration spell so that is at least 1 failed death save. I think its also a fair question whether or not I land on the ledge or in the camp. My gut says that arrows and falling would hit up on the ledge most likely but there is gotta be a chance I fall into the camp.
Death: 1d20 ⇒ 13

Don't forget fire in the bedding below where I was floating. If I am gonna die to set a fire I want credit. LOL.

"Did we win?" Hearing the crys in the distance and the read of his friends said quite a bit. Cheshire casts Mage Armor on himself. "Discretion, valor, all that other stuff."
Wild Magic Surge Possibility: 1d20 ⇒ 20
Gazul Ironfist |
Gazul tapped his hand to his wounds, causing them to heal further. He then said to the others ”Ye hear that? They’re after us. We’ll never get away with worgs after us. We need to ambush them as they give chase. As our elf runs up to us, we can spring out and attack her pursuers.”
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Stealth to hide if the others agree: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20

"Well the tower offers cover and likely no wargs. But all the hobs will be at the base."
Orthos of Nethys |
Healing Word: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 on me
Healing Word: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 on Cheshire
Hands 4 berries to Sarya and 4 to Gazul, leaving 1 for emergencies.
"Did we win?" Hearing the crys in the distance and the read of his friends said quite a bit. Cheshire casts Mage Armor on himself. "Discretion, valor, all that other stuff."
About the same as we normally do. That could have gone better... dammit.
Sarya Vanitahr |
Why is alchemist healthy when I shot him for 9 nice damage last round? <pout>
Unaware of the group's planning, Sarya continues firing her bow at the alchemist.
Shoot at alchemist: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
However her arrow fell short of him.
Orthos of Nethys |
The dice do not favour us - it's a reoccurring theme :)
Run Sarya!!! Let's get back to our home ground!
So, we killed, well Sarya killed, two hobgoblins? Bridge burned down... We are now badly damaged and on the run. I miss anything?

Can I eat the four berries and use my healing word on Sarya instead? Hopefully has the range
Sarya Vanitahr |
Sarya hears Orthos' cry, grabs the guards' full quivers and jumps out of the watchtower, magically slowing her descent near the ground so she doesn't hurt herself. Then, she runs in the forest to meet the group.
Casting Feather Fall near the ground.
Cheshire Silvanshee |
Cheshire runs in whatever direction the group heads.
Cheshire Silvanshee |
If we run past the tower. Cheshire will use firebolt to set it ablaze.

Sarya is currently out of range of healing word from Orthos.
Why is alchemist healthy when I shot him for 9 nice damage last round? <pout>
OOC: my mistake; the alchemist is at 'medium wounds'.
Questions?
Game on!

So, we killed, well Sarya killed, two hobgoblins? Bridge burned down... We are now badly damaged and on the run. I miss anything?
Nope you hit the nail on the coffin
@Fabian, would Kasana be able to fire at any of the goblins from her current position or are they out of sight? Also I noticed on the last recap that she still had her action surge, did it end up not getting used last round?

Option #A, If Kasana does not have the ability to do the Option #B
”Ye hear that? They’re after us. We’ll never get away with worgs after us. We need to ambush them as they give chase. As our elf runs up to us, we can spring out and attack her pursuers.”
"I agree,"Kasana began as the forest slowly enveloped them, "But we should get more separation from the main camp before we spring an ambush. Might even be able to catch our breath if we hide well enough."
Stealth: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18Stealth w/ advantage due to Ironfang Survivor Trait: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
.
Option #B, if Kasana would have the ability to shoot from her position or step forward a bit to shoot (without leaving her out in the open with no movement remaining at the end of her turn)
About the same as we normally do. That could have gone better... dammit.
"We can go through a lesson's learned on our latest mission later Orthos. For now though, we need to get awa... On second thought I'll be right back..." she began before turning around and taking aim at the alchemist, a green glow emanating around her as she began to concentrate. Though they had been mostly successful with their goal, she had a nagging feeling inside of her that they needed to make one last statement against the legion before they fled back into the forest. Drawing in the natural energies around her, she transferred the energies into her enchanted bow and notched arrow, each now shimmering with the same greenish light. Getting the goblin in her sights, she fired off two arrows in quick succession. While the second arrow missed wildly, her first shot hit true! Transforming into an arching mass of smoke and shadow mid-flight, it struck the alchemist squarely in the face. As she watched him clutch his face in pain, she shouted out as loud as she could in the goblins' direction, "The Ghosts of Phaendar send their regards! before turning and continuing to flee with the others.

Gazul Ironfist |
Last Cure: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Knowing that he was going to be on the front lines, Gazul finished healing his wounds. After a few prayers all that were left were a few scrapes and bruises. He watched Sarya run, and mentally urged her on.
Kasana Windfoot |
As Kasana ran to catch up with the others, a smirk spread across her face as she called out between breaths, "The bomb maker won't be bothering us anymore! So run and hide or run and fight?" Though they were far from safety, the adrenaline running through Kasana's system was giving her a delirious feeling she hoped would keep her going as long as needed.
Sarya Vanitahr |
I used 1 slot on feather fall
On her way to the forest, Sarya made sure to fire a shot at the worg.
Shoot!: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
The arrow hits the worg on the flank, and blood starts trickling out.
After walking towards the group, Sarya agreed with Orthos and said "It will be able to track us through our scent. Otherwise, we should hide. We're a little too bruised. After killing the worg we should run and hide if we can."
Orthos of Nethys |
Agreed... take cover behind something and wait for them, hit the worg and run.
And with that he finds a suitably thick tree and tries to hide behind it.
Cheshire Silvanshee |
While waiting for the worg and company. Cheshire sends a firebolt at the tower and then takes a position hiding with the others.

Assuming she can see the goblins down below Before continuing to put some distance between herself and the camp, Kasana followed the others lead and fired a shot at the Worg, similarly hitting it in its flank.

Fire @worg: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Her arrow flew right towards its heart. If the worg survived this, it would spend its life with trouble breathing.
Gazul Ironfist |
Hit Worg Crossbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Damage: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Gazul tried to add to the barrage of missiles heading towards the worg, but only managed to put his bolt in the ground. With a 'tsk' he set about reloading.

If the Worg is Still Alive
Seeing the Worg on it's last legs, Kasana fired one last shot at it to put it out of his misery before moving deeper into the woods.
Attack (Bow): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Damage (Bow): 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Seeing Sarya take down the wolf, Kasana ran deeper into the woods and attempted to lose their pursuers in the forest.
Stealth: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Cheshire tapped his coin 3 times. Three orbs of force appeared and raced off toward their foes. Cheshire clapped his hands once watching the orbs slam into enemy.
Casting Magic Missle. Like Kasana that is intended for the Worg. If the Worg is no longer with us. It would be for the next closest foe standing.

Wild Surge to Recharge Tides of Chaos: 1d100 ⇒ 14 13-14 You cast Otto's Irresistible Dance on yourself. Oh boy. Reading the spell I don't get a save until my next action. Too bad I really would have loved the Antlers from # 15.
When he clapped his feet hopped first the right then the left. He leapt up, raising his hands over his head before bringing them down. "Ah why am I dancing? Not now." For all his complaining he doesn't seem able to stop the movement.
I am hoping that between the smoke the fire, the dark (is it night time? I thought it was), the angle of the cliff and how far back many of us are I figure that those in the camp would have a very difficult time targeting us. Is that reasonable or am misreading you?

Sarya drops her bow on a bush and rushes towards Cheshire. She picks up the gnome and says "I'm not the strong type, but I'm glad gnomes aren't usually heavy."
I suppose a Str check is appropriate?
Gnomish pick up: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6
Despite not being heavy, Cheshire proves to be a little hard to pick up, especially since he is dancing uncontrollably. In turn, Sarya positions herself in front of him, ready to protect him.
Since I probably failed Str, I stand between Cheshire and incoming creatures. Cast Shield if I'm about to be hit by any physical attack or Absorb Elements of the appropriate element in case of an energy attack.
