"Ok, we need to rest, I have spent muchly of Erastil's blessings today, and I suspect that Rayhan is in need of the opportunity to renew his magicks as well. So, first question, do we trust the Bodak and the Azer's enough to camp in their vicinity? I would certainly not like to camp down here, but we could retreat back into the fire door maze as far as possible, to where Rayhan covered the pit with his wall of iron - that's seems as secure a camping spot as available."
(PS Rayhan, prep Rope Trick or some other safe camp spell next time.)
The he gathers the group in close and whispers "Also, we made no bargain or truce with Bodak, and it is abhorrent in the sight of both Erastil and," he turns specifically to Ohrmizd "Sarenrae." He continues "I do not trust the undead thing to camp near it. Should we destroy it and then camp. If we can bluff to gain the initiative, I think we should be able to put the damned thing down..."
We go back up there, Heshan uses bluff to create a distraction and thus gets us a surprise round... Depending on how the init rolls go, we delay so that we're at the top of the first full round. Rayhan uses diviner's fortune on me, for a +5 to hit so I actually hit something, and Khedron and Ohrmizd jump on the bodak. Heshan adds a haste spell or some sort of a control effect to slow down the rest of the Azers...
| Heshan Antar |
"That was truly an effort," Heshan sighed, but to him, the rewards just might be worth it. "I can surely see why so many have fallen to its maw."
He helped the inquisitor in moving the body to aquire the ring while he grabbed the potion and handed it to Omari. "You have a better way with words after all."
| Ohrmizd |
Cleaning Zenzirad out of the worm's vile essence Ohrmizd listens to Omari's plan while smiling to Heshan's lively expression of himself "As much as I hate leaving undead behind, this sounds it could put in danger our association with the Azers. I would avoid it if possible"
"If resting here in the darkness is not something you would like, I suggest we have a peek at what is next, in the hope we find a more fitting place for a rest" the Keleshite calls for the power of the goddess healing himself out of most of the worm wounds "I would not oppose a confy bed and a warm meal"

At the top of the stairs, a passage with a vaulted ceiling leads westward. Three domed alcoves extend from either side, each holding pedestals that display open and empty treasure coffers. A large, red-skinned, obviously dead humanoid with obsidian horns and jutting tusks hangs upside down from the ceiling between the westernmost alcoves, suspended from its heels by iron chains.
View from the top of the stairs, looking into the first pair of alcoves left and right, and seeing the corpse between the third pair of alcoves in the distance.

Ohrmizd quickly goes back to inform about what he has seen "The place seems safe enough. And if we confirm whatever is hanged in the ceiling is dead, I think it might do for a good place to rest"
Once the group makes it back to the alcoves, Ohrmizd will use detect magic in the area, and try to evaluate what kind of creature is this and if it has been dead for long.

"I agree with Heshan, the dead body hanging from the ceiling does nothing to improve the decor. Something killed that thing, and I wonder how recently. Still, it is away from the undead..."

I'm not sure about the map. It would almost be like a can of sardines. If you don't add oil, no one would be able to move anymore. And that is before the other dozen fire elementals join. ;)
Ok, set up.

Ok, I think I have added a bit more clarity to the map - dark blue lines are walls... I have added colored borders to the elementals so we can tell them apart. I am not sure what's going on with green and light blue - are they squeezing to occupy the same square (the dashed black box)? (That has penalties...)
@FOXY, has it been more than 20 minutes since this post THIS POST? There is a bunch of fire damage running around here... I am assuming no, as you haven't told Ohrmizd that his Shield of Faith has evaporated yet.
