Greetings,
This recruitment is for PFS2 scenario 1-05 which is tier 1-4.
There are up to 3 open spots for additional players.
The 3 spots currently signed in are all 1st level, an alchemist, rogue and bard.
This will be my first time GMing a PFS 2ed scenario for PBP, so your understanding during the game is appreciated.
Opening recruitment until there is sufficient interest but will keep recruitment open for at least 24 hours to give everyone a fair chance to enter. If excess interest is shown then the player slots will be decided by the GM according to their judgement, which may seem pretty random.
Game will start within 1 day of recruitment closing, but hope to start by 10 June.
To apply, please post below expressing your interest and whether or not you've played this scenario before.
Questions/comments/concerns/ and expressions of interest are welcome below.
Cheers

I haven't played this game before.
Manny is here to play music, kick butt for justice and get all the ladies afterward. At least that's what he hopes.
Manny is a level 2 Bard who leans into fighter, using his longsword and his whip to harass foes.
Player Name: Chadius
Character Name: Emmanuel Holysmith
PFS#: 133608-2001
Faction: Envoys' Alliance

Hi!
I'm really interested in playing this scenario.
This will be my first PbP in English, so I can only hope to not disappoint you.
Never played this scenario.
My newbie rogue of level 1 will try to do everything right and repay Pathfinders for their efforts in t4aching her.
Player Name: Vlad
Character Name: Tess Skerrett
PFS#: # 2371457-2003
Faction: Vigilant Seal

I'm new to this site but not PbP games. I'd be interested in playing though would need some guidance through the Pathfinder Society stuff.
With your group already having an Alchemist, Rogue and Bard. Id be interested in trying out a fighter or druid.
OK, to start with there are a few character builders for Pathfinder 2E. In Society play you can rebuild your character at first level, so can change class, heritage etc, so you have a chance to alter the character after playing in this scenario.
I create my first level characters using HeroLab online in demo mode. Demo mode lets you create a first level character and you can then generate a statblock in BBCode to start your character here. There are other free character generators out there, if you want to use them, but
If you are new to Pathfinder 2E, then you may find it easier to play a fighter than a druid, because druids can have animal companions, so you end up controlling two entities rather than just one. Although a druid is suited to this scenario, from the campaign page .. explorers to chart a viable route across the Menador Mountains.
Finally there are pre-generated characters that can be downloaded from Paizo and are also available in HeroLab Online in their Character Vault.
You will also find some link under the Campaign Info heading, in Game Expectations, don't be put off by all the words, there are links at the bottom you can use.
And finally there is Online Rules which describes character building.

Don't worry, we'll be fine.

Hi,
I'm a long time PF1 player/gm, who's only had two good PBP experiences, but I'm working from home currently, and one of those two good experiences was for a PFS game.... I'd be willing to whip up a PF2 Fighter. (Or pretty much anything else for that matter, even a 3rd rogue.)
I ran a homebrew game during Playtest and most of the last year in PF2, and thus am fairly comfortable with the system, and was the guy doing the chargen, so I could have a PF2 L1 character done, most likely by Sunday. I have played none of the PF2 published content.
Things I'd need to do, is look at what's going on with PFS2, as that ... that I'm only gently familiar with.
Active posting speed: While at home, multiple times per day, if I'm working from the office, most likely 1/day as these forums are blocked there.

I dont think I was descriptive enough. I've played pathfinder 1e, and have started into some 2e. I've got a good buddy who DMs a podcast and while they are pretty fun they set themselves up as the rules group. MNMax if you want to check em out but I digress. What i meant by pathfinder society was more to the online community play type thing that they seem to have going where you can hop in and out of games with the same character. That is new to me.
As for druid, was just looking for heals without playing a cleric, as I'm one in another game. If accepted to play ill fill in whats missing class wise.

It might be a bit late, but yes. PFS provides a complete mulligan up until you play your first 2nd level scenario with a character.
So you can change all kinds of things around after each of your first three scenarios.Kosh Bracken |
