Taariik, that's fine, but can we take care of that at the very end? Sindelle is also Dark Archive and I would like you to roll for the both of you, because to be honest, I'm not 100% sure how it works. She took the documents from Nigel's office, and I think she was going to have a ... little chat ... with him after the adventure.

Fifi and Shayna both miss, and Hskoro hits, but doesn't seem to affect the cyberplasm.

Everyone watches in horror as it seeps into Taariik's nose, and Taariik's eyes and skin begin turning green.

Taariik is now controlled by the cyberplasm. Attacks made against Taariik will resolve against Taariik's AC and Taariik will take half damage. Because of time constraints, I won't have Taariik make any attacks.

Sindelle grabs the wand of remove disease, which Fifi dropped.

We have to take that thing out now...and not kill Taariik at the same time! belts the swordswoman as she looses her second arrow at the man/ooze.

Fifi audibly gasps as she sees Taariik get overwhelmed and then controlled by the cyberplasm! She yells-"Let him go, you damn silver!"-her anger growing tenfold as her infatuation fuels her zeal.

She slashes at Taariik with her scimitar, knowing her flame will be welcomed by his ifrit body but scorch the ooze inside. (hopefully)

Flame Blade att vs Taariik's Touch: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 8 + 2 = 21
Flame Blade dmg: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 1 = 4 fire damage

(Taaariik's Fire in the Blood Racial Ability would trigger, granting him fast healing 2, so I believe that'd be no damage to Taariik, but 2 fire damage to the cyberplasm)

"Agghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh .... " Taarik shouts out but suddenly his voice is silenced.

With the ooze controlling one of his allies, Hskoro focuses his attention on Taariik and swings his warhammer at him but trying to just do enough damage to knock him out.

Warhammer -NonLethal vs Taariik/ooze: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (6) + 7 - 4 = 9
Non-Lethal Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

But his fingers are slippery from sweat and the weapon jerks in his hands.

Shayna fires an electric arrow into Taariik's rump. It's not a critical hit, and it seems to damage the cyberplasm disproportionately.

Fifi slashes at Taariik. His body seems to recover.

Hskoro tries to gently bash Taariik on the head, but he's a little too gentle and it doesn't do anything.

Gru'Gar fires another laser bolt into the ceiling. If it's any comfort, 16 wouldn't have hit, either. The power cell of the laser gun beeps twice, and then goes dark. Out of charges, but you do have the shock arrow and a bow.

Sindelle will heal Taariik via Life Link, and then expel the cyberplasm with the wand of remove disease.

The cyberplasm is stunned for a round as it exits Taariik.

Shayna grabs a flask of acid and readies it to toss at the blob.

Fifi goes for a second slash towards the cyberplasm, thankful it has exited the object of her infatuation-"I'm sorry little silver, but you can't put your gooey self between me and love!"-her flaming scimitar growing in size, and her hair growing twice in size.

Scimitar att vs Touch: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Scimitar dmg: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 fire damage

Hskoro again tries to knock Taariik out but completey whiffs his attack.

Warhammer -NonLethal vs Taariik/Ooze: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 7 - 4 = 4
Non-Lethal Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Fifi is almost sure her strike is about to hit, but it parts just ahead of the flame. Hskoro swings at Taariik but Taariik yells, "Whoa whoa whoa! It's outside of me!"

(Could anyone aid to turn that into a hit? =D )

Taarik is completely exhausted and confused from the experience!

He looks at Fifi’s and his companions’ brave battle and is relieved.

“You protected me!! I owe you so much!“

Fifi's miss is heroically transformed into a hit!

The cyberplasm melts away, losing its coherence in the heat of Sarenrae's ire.

The cyberplasm harvested a number of valuable technologies from the Technic League members it slew earlier, including a five amber rods (worth 150 gp each), brown chipfinder, a masterwork noqual heavy pick, and six vials of the skymetal djezet.

With the Technic League team mostly slain and the cyberplasm destroyed, the surviving staff of the Blakros Museum can begin cleaning and
repairs. With the chaos in the museum put to rest, Nigel Aldain immediately begins assessing the damage in hopes of still opening the following night.

The Pathfinders return downstairs to thank Gerva, but she has Gerva fled the scene. Witnesses suggest she has headed back to Numeria.

For saving Pendleton, the Blakros family thanks them days later with a grand dinner.

That's the official end of the campaign. Everyone is invited to wrap up any roleplay, and also to ask any questions of Nigel if the plot wasn't clear. Taariik, if you can keep posting and help me with the Dark Archive faction material, I would be grateful. I've never done this faction stuff, so I don't know how to mark it on a Chronicle.

Are you sure it's out of you? I can toss this acid just in case... Shayna says with a grin. She looks around and examines the museum and the damage caused by the raiders.

Well, looks like the admission price is going to go up again...think we can get a discount? I think we should go celebrate this victory with a drink or ten. My brother told me of a good tavern he frequented when he was here. I'm not shocked it is run by Calistrian devotees.... she says as she puts away her acid and retrieves her blade.

Fifi is glad the museum is safe, and the group, especially Taarliik, made it out in one piece.

She gladly takes up Shayna's offer-"We should celebrate! Yes! A tavern sounds like a lovely idea. We could have drinks, and maybe even dance!"-she says as she glances at the irorian paladin and her hair swirls playfully. Still, on the way over, she makes sure to buy a Scroll of Comprehend Languages, certain she would have been able to avoid bloodshed if she had that magical assistance.

During the party, she would certainly try and make her advances in the most innocent, unexperienced and lovestruck way possible against the solar ifrit.

(Will her feelings be reciprocated folks? haha)

Taarik is still unbelievably thankful to the group! They believed in him when he was consumed by the alien mass!

In an appropriate moment he approaches the Paladin of the Dawnflower.

“Fifi, It is an honor to walk the path to perfection with you and I would very much like to spend some time with you to hear about your path and your adventures as a shining beacon of light in this world that sometimes is haunted by too much darkness!?“

He seems to hesitate for moment but finds the courage to speak. “Would you be free to have dinner with me at some point in time?“ Taarik asks with a bow.

Fifi seems head over heels once Taariik proposes a dinner, as her hair does not let her hide her feelings - it swirls and grows as her smile grows wider and her eyes sparkle just thinking about it.

Saying-"Yes! I'd love that!"-as she hugs the paladin.

Hskoro's frills beam with pride as they successfully complete their mission.

"Yes a stiff drink sounds like a plan.
Gru'Gar says at the mention of going to a tavern.

Kenji is glad to share a drink with this great team!

And of course he is very much looking for getting to know Fifi and hear about all the battles she had to fight in Taldor! ;-)
