"Zarta has likely been taken by the Chelish, held on fictitious charges. We think we've deciphered her location as Castle Vraid."

As you make it back to Zarta's study, you feel that it is close as in some cases you are almost discovered! You can be really glad that you have the outfits of the staff!
Rilia at one point is asked by a guest to bring a drink but can easily distract him so he is satisfied.
Rilia always leaves them satisfied. ;)

The VC rubs his chin but is obviously glad that you have a lead.
"Great job! Hmmm, taken to Citadel Vraid? And framed by whom ?? I'm aware that Zarta has some enemies. Her less than positive attitude towards some people is renowned. But this merits additional research. Great work uncovering this information and keeping your cover in the process. If and when we prepare to mount a rescue I will inform you. Anything else?"

"And framed by whom ??"
"Tancred Desimire."
"Anything else?"
"There's a secret passage from Zarta's study to the Chelish archives. We should strive to preserve its secrecy, it could prove useful in the future."

GM Nowruz wrote:"And framed by whom ??""Tancred Desimire."
"Are we sure that we decoded that name correctly, Tsuan?" Rilia says a little skeptically.

"No, I'm not sure." Tsuan says a little sheepishly.
Tsuan was relying on William's translation. OOC, I know that Tancred Desimire is a recurring villain (and thus, I know William's translation is correct), but Tsuan's never heard of him.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

"I think I heard a bard in Absalom singing a Public Service Announcement about it.
If you're full of cantankerous desire /
And you visit the lankie quagmire /
Wrap your knight in full plate armor /
Or you can catch the stankered desimire"

"Yes he does," Jyrrar nods in agreement to Rilia, his face straight.

"I'm pretty sure I got the translation right." William says, checking his notes. "That was the one of the only ones where I had all the letters."
