Dotting in for interest.
d20 Modern with Arcane thrown in was fun to run - I ran a campaign for about a year in it.
Count me in! I'll think about a character concept and track down my books or pdfs of the game and look over it. I can probably do this Sunday. It'll be fun to revisit those rules.
BESM d20 too?!
I only ran BESM itself, never the d20 version. Count me in for that when it's ready.
I never thought I'd see anyone use these again!

I got d20 Mecha (by David Pulver) off of drivethru. So you can make mecha too.
I have the physical books on my gaming shelf - although I may just rebuy them as pdf because with Paizo I've become accustomed to everything being pdf.

Here's my idea for a character, it appears with a mage and a driver already we need a cleric type with perhaps a bit of muscle thrown in.
Quick Summary (longer background in spoiler)
Sophie spent a lot of time learning martial arts growing up and worked her way through college teaching martial arts and self defense. Growing up in a deeply catholic family she studied comparative religion and mythology. Through a series of events she had a vision and conversation with Athena and she is now her devotee. She's now an adjunct professor at the University of Utah in SLC.
The following is not an official format for a character, just my tallying up of things as I went through the books. I'm fairly busy today so I don't have time to sit down and fill out a full sheet but I wanted to put this information here to receive any comments on backstory, character plan, etc.

Brief Background
Grew up in a catholic family, went to catholic school, and went on to Notre Dame to study in Religious Studies. Did martial arts since she was a child, became very good, helped fund her education by teach martial arts and self defense along with the occasional tournament win.
She was always fascinated by mythology and she studied a lot of comparative mythology in college. When working on her doctorate an archaeologist colleague was going to Turkey to do an excavation of an old Greek temple and invited her along because of her extensive knowledge of greek mythology and her ability to read ancient greek.
She happily went along, there aren't many times a researcher in religion is invited to do field work on an actual ancient temple ruin.
While excavating, there was a breakthrough into a small space in one of the walls containing a number of scrolls and an old brass chain and pendant. A quick glance through the scrolls revealed numerous prayers and ceremonies to Athena.
Back in her office at the university she really poured over the scrolls. While reading the prayers out loud just to hear what they sounded like in that long ago temple, the pendant became warm to the touch. Shocked and fascinated, she read more prayers, each one having the same reaction. When she slept, she had a crystal clear dream of the goddess Athena coming and speaking with her and asking her to perform one of the ceremonies in the scrolls.
The next day, feeling a bit foolish, Sophie locked herself in her office and performed one of the ceremonies while wearing the necklace. Upon finishing she had a clear vision where the goddess Athena came and spoke with her. She called Sophie The Little Warrior and stated that if Sophie performed the prayers and rites of Athena's priestesses, the goddess would be there to aid her in her endeavors
Still doubting this was even real, Athena told her a few words and gestures to perform. When Sophie did that she created water in a bowl in her office. She did that a few more times out of wonder and now realized this was no mere hallucination. She pledged herself to Athena and to follow her ways. She was now a priestess of the goddess of wisdom and war.
Sophie scraped her thesis and wrote about the influence of religion on the people of ancient Greece and the impact it had on their lives. Her insight and theories almost seemed divinely inspired.
Needing a job and religious studies degrees not being very useful in the secular world, she's now an adjunct professor at the University of Utah.

So characters set up pretty much like 5e's? But your using the sat build from PF. So start at 10 not 8?
You set up your character using 25 points, and then follow d20 modern's conventions -- such as your alignment and profession. Then you choose which hero your going to be, and then add what advanced class you want to be.
