Seif-al-Din winces sympathetically.

"Sounds rough. Shame a sweet gig turned into a literally boxed-in Hell."

He walks alongside Gilbin, one hand carefully caressing Shadow's fur.

Keep in mind that though rooms other than D4 and D5 have been revealed on the map, You have not visited them yet. Do not assume that if the room is show that you have been there. Feel free to put a marker on a room that you have visited (or not) as a reminder.

D2: The frightful screams and bellows of what sounds like an enraged bull echo through vast courtyard. In the center of the court stands a fifty-foot-tall ziggurat, atop which looms a statue of a bull. Smoke issues from the statue’s open mouth, as does the eerie bellowing. Beyond the ziggurat stands the huge domed palace that surmounts the citadel, its double domes glinting beneath a roiling molten sky. Stairs lead down to the north of the courtyard. As you pass the noisy bull statue, you see a damaged grate that looks down on a room on the lower level which you recognize as one you have been in (C10).

Your new buddy remarks, "Looks like they are torturing someone other than me in that bull. Nasty contrap..."

Whatever he is about to say is cut off as he spots the two guards monitoring the torturing and bellows in rage as he charges.

Malgrim takes a step closer and gathers the elemental powers to him to strike out at the giant that Shadow attacked.

Seeing the giants on the podium, Gnasher gives a wolfish smile. Following Shadow, he taps his heel together, moving towards the stars and begins to rage. The touch connects and the efreeti is healed. Though the madness vanishes from it's eyes, he still eyes you with belligerence, particularly Gnasher who threated to put him back in. After weighing you, though, he stops attacking.

Gilpin chimes in with "Oh it also does divine damage, over and over again, but never lets you die. Some find it quite entertaining... well, to watch."

Vazzaresh's glare is transferred to Gilpin and you can tell he barely keeps himself from attacking.

Noting the glare in Vazzaresh's eyes, Gnasher is relieved as his friend takes up the conversation, hoping Seif-al-Din can soothe the situation.

The efreeti looks a bit more calm, though there is something standoffish about him.

"I think I'd like to tag along as an observer, hopefully finding a way to leave this place, if you do not mind. But I will not be helping you."

Still wanting to recover from the rages fatigue, he pauses for a moment checking the dead giants for anything of great value. As he does so, he gestures towards the weapons and gear, "Vazzaresh help himself."

having satisfied his curiosity, he gestures back the way they came, "Tribe make sure no one behind tribe?" As he speaks he moves towards the east preparing to check and open the door to the first room D6.

With miteke's reminder, maybe we should open all the doors. Gnasher will take 10 (25) on perception searching the bodies, then inspecting the door to D6

Not sure what the fire Giant is whistling for, Gnasher moves into the room. Dropping his bardiche outside the door he draws Zenzibar as he begins to rage. His paws grow into overly large claws, his eyes glow red, his fangs enlarge and he begins to froth at the mouth. While his brown hide takes on a red-orange cast to it, giving a peculiar laugh. Lifting the frost blade high he chops at the 'fire giant'.

and misses. Gnasher rages for one more round and heals three, then you pummel it into the ground.
