Mukluk Muletender |

I've got the loot list updated, so I think if everyone wants to claim anything they want?
Oh, thanks for the lists, Rova. Mukluk is happy to sell the Owlbear Claw and never took any of the holy water. I’ll try to mark it on the sheet.
* * *
I’ll have Mukluk upleveled this weekend. I will admit to having a hard time finding any good useful lvl 4 fighter’s feats at this time, that’s with the ACG. Everything is either super situational, or just meh. I dunno. I’ll eventually roll a die and get something.

Quick Reversal can get you an extra attack if flanked without taking the MAP. T
Knockdown Feat can deny an enemy actions each turn by making them spend an action to have to stand back up, which will also provoke an attack of opportunity from you. Prone also makes them flat footed and easier to hit the enemy, also allowing sneak attacks without flanking.

GM Kate |

Correct on the warden spells, Rova! The first level ones are entry into having warden spells, and then you can take whichever higher level ones you want.
Did you know I wrote that section?

Did you know I wrote that section?
Oh I knew I knew!! I could tell because it was so thoughtful and well-written and the ideas...were so vibrant and, uh, uhm, vociferous.
*cough*...holds out hand for a hero point...

GM Kate |

Ha ha. Well, for that matter, I think the end of the arc deserves a hero point all around!

Rova Moonbright |

Pfft. That was horrible, Mukluk! Shameless!
That said, I saw you said that somewhere, Kate.
Hmm. Thoughts, folks? Like Mukkie, I'm still trying to figure out best options, and how Rova's working in combat. I think sticking with her as primarily a ranged combatant makes sense, and probably continuing to pump up Thkrull when she has the opportunities.
If I do that, I think Heal Companion makes the most sense. I hadn't really pictured Rova casting spells but she probably saw some of that when she was a child and remembers a few things.

Niksi Drugova |

I think that logic makes sense to me. I think our main issue at the moment is keeping people conscious and healed and ranged combat + animal companion helps to hit and run effectively and spread out the damage, respectively.
Getting warden spells unlocked would mean you could learn enlarge companion later, which is pretty nice.

So yeah, I've looked at the options.
Quick Reversal is super situational and I think Mukluk has been in flank once since this AP started. It just doesn't happen that often (though GM Kate may prove me wrong) enough to be worth it. I mean, there are worse options though if MM and others are doing their jobs, he should rarely be in flank.
Knockdown requires either a 2 handed weapon or a hand free, sadly, and Mukluk isn't going to change his fighting style for it. Meh.

GM Kate |

Everyone ready to go? Also, please update the slide on Page 2 with your new numbers.

Corkas 'Prism' Warfiz |

All updated on slide 2. What is the group split on the sold loot or are we treating it as a party pool?

Rova Moonbright |

I typically divide everything evenly, since I figure any claimed items are basically helping the party as a whole.
Assuming everyone's claimed their loot on the sheet, I'll go through it tonight and list what we all have. (That said, I don't think we need to finish that before moving on, unless others disagree.)
--
Will update my numbers now on slide 2. Also will go with Heal Companion for my feat.

Rova Moonbright |

OK, I had time now and went through the list. I decided to claim a few of the talismans for myself, as it seems like they're more useful to use than to just sell.
That leaves us with 256.7 gp total, which would be 64.2 gp for everyone (one person gets shorted by 1 sp).
That said, I suggest we buy an expanded healer's tools (50 gp) before we divide it, since that's such a key check and would give Rova a +1. Everyone would then get 51.7 gp (Rova can get 51.6) to spend as you want.

Updated slide 2.
Mukluk gold:
..1.29 gp/sp leftover from start
+5.00 gp/sp first show
————-
.6.29 gp/sp to spend
..6.29 gp/sp to spend
+51.70 gp/sp--------------
.57.99 gp to spend
-35.00 +1 potency rune for ColdyVonPierceFace
--------------
.22.99 gp to spend
Edit: Niksi, though you are a ninja, MMuk can lend you the monies.

Rova Moonbright |

So Rova will add the expanded healer's tools, and gift the older ones to Mukluk, since it makes sense to have a backup.
She has 52.6 gp total now.
Kate, can she find a cold iron filcher's fork in town? I'm not sure that would be available, since it's uncommon. Note to self: If so, it would be 44 gp. If I can't find one, I'll instead get a +1 potency rune 35 gp that I'll probably put on my bow. I also need to buy another thing of sling bullets 1 cp.
Depending on the answer, I may also try to buy Thkrull some barding, which would be 20 gp. I'd also need to borrow some money to be able to do that.

GM Kate |

Nothing of note, really. They each had a trident, and one had hide armor and a wooden shield while the other had leather armor.
You had passed on looting a lesser salamander elixir, but Harlock will offer it to you, and when you returned the priest's books, he gives you an onyx dog wondrous figurine and a brooch of shielding.

Rova Moonbright |

Finalizing my purchases:
I will get a +1 weapon potency rune for my shortbow. (35 gp)
I will get +10 arrows and +10 stones for my sling (1.1 sp)
I will get Thkrull leather barding (20 gp)
That's a total of 55 gp, 1 sp, 1 cp spent, so I'm borrowing 5 gp from Prism. Thanks!

GM Kate |

I hope you have a good trip!
Does anyone want to volunteer to bot Rova for the week? I prefer players botting over me as GM doing it.

GM Kate |

That's fine. I have a similar character in PFS, so I know Rova's abilities pretty well. This battle is pretty straightforward, so I don't think there's too much risk of my GM knowledge affecting what the PC does.

GM Kate |

Hero Point to Prism in the last encounter for pacifying the dinosaur!

Mukluk Muletender |

All yours! Fear gem should probably go to Mukluk or Prism, since it's a melee item.
Mukluk won’t want the fear gem. It’s too $$ for it’s worth by about 15gp and should be sold. We can buy better things with the money if we sold it.

Rova earns one hero point for the last battle! Excellent work while being trapped by the spider.

I'm not putting you into initiative yet, just to give you a chance to decide how to approach the situation.
Rova earns a hero point from the last battle for dedication!

GM Kate |

Just in case it's not clear, the one with the black outline is the dead one.

Niksi Drugova |

I'm sad b/c I can't get a cello from summon instrument. I had the idea to have Niksi play this cello cover of Master of Puppets but the spell specifies handheld instruments :(

GM Kate |

I don't want to play gotcha here; the secret door is inside the circle of runes. Does Mukluk want to go in the circle?
Also, Prism earns a Hero Point for the last encounter for bravery in the face of stinkiness!

GM Kate |

I may have counted Thkrull's damage wrong: is he good or neutral?

Rova Moonbright |

Sorry, I meant to check. That's a good question. I don't think it indicates anything about alignment under animal companions in the CRB. So I'm assuming it would be the base of the animal, which is neutral.
For Thkrull, though, he's probably Neutral Jerk.

Yeah, they made it much harder to disarm in this edition, and unfortunately, you don't get much on a regular success.
Prism gets a hero point for the color spray keeping the xulgath from ringing the gong on the second to last turn, and Rova gets a hero point for her timely crit taking it down before it could ring the gong on the last turn. Excellent teamwork, everyone!
