Sorry, I'm just slammed and haven't had a chance to fully update the loot list. Maybe tonight? Or sometime in the next couple weeks... I'd like to divide it evenly, but just need more time.

That said, I don't think we have to wait on that.

Rova will 32 sp from whatever her share will be (there's plenty) to buy a shortbow and 20 arrows. She probably doesn't have money to buy barding for Thkrull yet, but I suspect he may stay outside of the Hermitage...

She's also going to buy a lesser elixir of life (3 gp) and a vial of holy water (3 gp). I'm pretty sure we'll have funds for all that once we divvy everything up.

Considering we know there are fiends involved, I'd encourage others to buy similar stuff.

I'm cool with purchases getting retconned.

Sorry for being quiet the past couple days. Jess and I have been at protests every day the last three days and we are absolutely exhausted. I’ll get a post up as soon as I can.

The retainers each have hide armor, gray robes, trident, and a wooden shield.

I'm going to raise an X card on PCs desecrating the bodies here. The ones that are undead will be very clearly undead.

Yikes. That said, I've got a detente right now with Dicebot after it gifted me with some very good, very crucial rolls in one of my games.

Dice roller hates PCs. Always has, always will.

I'm fine with hand-waving the dice-rolling, but if people want to do healing by the rules, would folks like it if I automated it a little? I'm in a PBP where the GM is doing that, and it definitely keeps things speedy.

Hero Points from the last encounter! Niksi would get one for cleverly getting a mirror, but she has the max of 3 already. Rova gets one for using the cold iron weapon to finish the battle.

Funny enough, that last Paizocon I was at when they were seating the tables they would let us know our game was at Lem 3. Or whichever pregen was on the table tent. I have never really played much with the pregens so was not overly familiar with which name was associated with which pregen and remember staring across the big ballroom trying to figure out who the heck Lem was.

Hey, folks! As you are leveling, there are a bunch of new shinies in APG that are available to you! Yay!

With this big a sourcebook, you may find something that you wish you could have taken earlier: a background or a class feat or something. I am cool with people trading out for new options without having to mess around with retraining.

Sweet. Thanks! I haven't had a chance yet to really look through it even, but I should look into some of the archetypes (though I've been using that Level 2 class feat more than I expected, so maybe will stick with that).

I’m still leveling, but I wanted y’all to know that I’m leaning towards taking Alchemical Crafting. I confirmed with Kate that we will have downtime that can be used for crafting, and I think being able to produce healing elixirs (amongst other useful items!) would help us a lot. Niksi spending hours alone in a private lab crafting items to help her friends seems very in-character, too.

I’ll get four basic level 1 recipes for free, and I’ll spend money on getting some more useful ones as we go, but please feel free to let me know if you have any requests.

Note the formula book we found, Niksi, so you also have those as well.

I've got the loot list updated, so I think if everyone wants to claim anything they want? Let's plan to sell everything else in town and buy stuff we will use. Maybe plan to have that done by this weekend and I'll try to total everything up by Monday at the latest? We had some stuff already doled out, but I also marked a few other items with best choices. If you don't like something I handed you, you can cross your name off it. Some is just who's carrying it, though, like the healing potions.

I have to admit I'm not totally sure what's best practices in terms of items in 2nd edition. I think considering all the demons we've run into, I might try to get a cold iron filcher's fork (doesn't feel worth the money to do that for ammunition), plus maybe a striking rune for one of my ranged weapons if we have the money. (I guess I need the potency rune first, which would make it +1, then if we had enough could upgrade to striking, so that'd be 100 gp right now, which might be more than we have, depending on what people want -- my quick count makes me think we have 200+ gp, but I'm assumign we still sell stuff for half value?). We could also look at a wand of heal. Not sure one use/per day is worth it for 60 gp, but could be a lifesaver for an in-combat use.

If anyone has a good Recall Knowledge against xulgaths, we could also look into something to protect us from the odor. Doesn't look like that's poison now, so I'm not sure there actually *is* anything.

@Rova An excellent point on the formula book! I'm also not super sure on what the best practices for 2E are yet, either. 4th level is the highest I've gotten in 2E so far tbh. My main desire at the moment is an alchemist's lab, preferably the good one if I can afford it (55 gp) for the crafting bonus. Already having the recipe for lesser elixirs of life means I can get started on them right away. 3d6+6 is a quite respectable heal! Plus the status bonus for saves. Also, silversheen is an alchemical tool, so I can "disassemble" and "reassemble" it to learn the formula.

Lastly, I think xulgaths are society to ID, which would mean Niksi has the best bonus for it atm (+8).

@GM Kate I think I will take you up on that offer to retrain something as summon instrument is the perfect cantrip for Niksi and I absolutely would have taken it. I'm gonna trade it for message

Question on the APG's warden spells. Some of the higher level ones have a prereq of warden spells. Does that mean I need to take one of the first-level ones first? They give me a warden spell, but don't have warden spell as a prereq. (I'm assuming that is what it means, but want to make sure I'm reading that correctly.)
