Hello, everyone! Here you can discuss anything that comes to mind, slot your boons and tell me what you're doing with your downtime. Feel free to roll any Earn Income or Craft checks now.
Oh, and to those who have already played, put a spoiler up saying which iteration you did. I'll go with one nobody or the fewest people have done.

Greetings all!
And thank you GM Crunch for running this, and having me.
I have not played (nor GMed) this adventure, so totally up for anything.
My Boons are in my character sheet for later reference.
But here's they are for now:
- Advanced boon slot • (none)
- Generic boon slot #1 • Sand Slide (from Quest 1A: Sandstone Secret)
3 uses ; Reaction ; Fail a Reflex save to avoid a trap ; Step, Drop Prone, get +2 to rolled save (maybe making it a success)
- Generic boon slot #2 • Cryptid Scholar from 1-02 (Mosquito Witch)
3 uses ; Reaction ; Recall Knowledge to ID creature I can see = roll twice use best
- Generic boon slot #3 • Team Player from 1-03 (Escaping the Grave)
3 uses ; Reaction ; Ally fails a check I Aided = ally can reroll and use best result
- Slotless boons #1 • Wayfinder (2 Fame, from All-Faction Rep')
- Slotless boons #2 • Engraved Wayfinder from 1-01 (Absalom Initiation)
Janira gave me a lid engraved with my name and Glyph of the Open Road
- Slotless boons #3 • Leader by Example (0 Fame, from Vigilant Seal)
to get extra rep' & fame when DMing ; next use @ tier 2
Lilic has 3 points in Swords, and thus two items (he carries 2 x minor healing potions)
Since we seem to be in a rural area, and in exotic Tian Xa, for his Downtime LIlic will try to Earn some Income:
After the adventures, Lilic seeks out a rice-farm and, taking some seeds he has been keeping from his destroyed family farm, approaches the farmers, to see if they wish to share crop techniques, him teaching them about growing spuds, and then them training him in how to grow rice.
Farming Lore, Earn Income, DC 14: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Most probably 5 cp per day for 8 days = 5x8 = 40 cp = 4 sp
Do you need the usual information or does that go somewhere: character #, chronicle sheet #, Fame, Rep' etc.?

I would also like to thank you for running this game. The slotted boons are also in the profile, but will also show the slotted ones here.
Slotless: Wayfinder (paid 2 fame)
Slotless: Engraved Wayfinder (The Absalom Initiation)
Taking 1 minor healing potion.
For downtime, Loohi will try to make headway into the local underworld scene to earn his keep.
Earn Income; Underworld Lore: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22

Faction: Vigilant Seal Champion
Promotional: Promotional Accessory
Generic: Cryptid Scholar
Generic: Team Player
Scrolls x 3: Scroll of Magic Missile, Scroll of Shillelagh
Spells Prepared: Heal x 3
Earn Income
Library Lore, Task Level 0 (DC 14): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
5 cp x 8 days = 2 sp
OR 5 cp x 1 day if I need to spend 7 days on recovering my animal companion

Oh yeah, I do need to start asking for initial Fame, XP, and GP, plus the Chronicle number. I already have characters numbers, though.

![]() |

• #101218-2003
• 19 Fame
• Vigilant Seal slotted
• 23 Vigilant Seal Rep'
• 2 Envoy's Alliance Rep'
• 21 XP
• 59 gp, 1 sp, 8 cp
• This Chronicle will be #7

![]() |

I think this is the character I'm going to play, but I do know that there's another strength monk that might be playing, so if they do play and I can come up with another character, that works too.
Fame: None
XP: None
Gold: 3gp, 1 sp, 5 cp
Chronicle Number: 1
Scribing Lore, Earn Income, Task Level 0: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Shirota is taking a potency crystal (2 points in swords, 1 in scrolls)

![]() |

Hi GM and fellow party members. I haven't played this before and I don't think I will get to GMing it before we are done.
PFS# 343892-2002
Fame: 4
Gold: 24Gp, 3Sp, 5Cp
Chronicle Number 2
Envoy's Alliance Champion (4 Rep)
Cryptid Scholar (Untyped Boon)
Alcohol Lore, Earn Income, Task Level 0: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
I'll be taking the health potion

Looks like everyone has posted here or otherwise dotted in. I'll do an introductory post soon, which you can respond to at your leisure.
Disclaimer, I've run this twice face-to-face and it went ungodly fast. The group didn't roleplay very much, but I'm still not sure if it was me or the scenario. Online should be about normal speed, a bit quicker at most.

• Lysle
• Hamir Crookfeather
• #90900-2004
• 8 Fame
• Vigilant Seal slotted
• 8 Vigilant Seal Rep
• 8 XP
• 24 GP, 3 cp
• This Chronicle will be #3
Library Lore: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Don't know what all the variances are, but I've completed a run where we battled foxes in town, bandits in the woods, and a kitsune thief with fox allies.
I am nearly at the end of a run where we have fought tree creatures in town, statues in the woods, and are tracking a kitsune thief.

Experience: 16
Fame: 16
Gold: 58.33
Chronicle: Will be #5

Just a heads up: one should read about Aid Another which is a reaction, once you have prepared, and the person you are aiding agrees to be helped.
Because the DC is often quite stiff (DC20 is the basic) and, if you crit' fail, you reduce the roll of the person you are helping.
For example, in this case, Ravelgar's 9 is most probably a crit' failure, thus, while giving hand signals he poked the monk in the eye and gave him a -1!

Wishing any and all of my adventure companions and our GM, who celebrate, a Merry Christmas and Hanukkah Sameach!

@Loohi Loohi: is that automatic sneak attack damage?

![]() |

My bad. I usually try to Avoid Detection so that Loohi's initiative could be Stealth. This would give a free sneak attack on creatures that haven't acted. Just habit. Remove the sneak attack damage!

Ah, I forgot it only works depending on how you roll for initiative. Still, your attack was enough to finish off the skeleton anyway!

![]() |

@Ravelgar the Oakfist: when you are in Mountain Stance, your Speeds are all reduced by 5 feet ; however, if a Dwarf took his Racial Feat "Unburdened Iron", that would negate said reduction, right?
In addition, any time you’re taking a penalty to your Speed from some other reason (such as from the encumbered condition or from a spell), deduct 5 feet from the penalty.

You are correct Lilic. Rock Runner seemed like the more RP choice at the time but I may switch them up. Got one more session after this to really finalize this character so we will see. Thanks for the suggestion

![]() |

With a Scout in the group, Lilic will go with Avoid Notice.

![]() |

My apologies. I had an unexpected trip to the hospital.

![]() |

Hoping all is well with you and yours...

![]() |

Take your time recovering, however much you need! I had one of those three weeks ago.

![]() |

You can't go lower than 0 HP; Shirota only has 19 HP.

![]() |

Ugh, another thing I'd tell myself I'd do and promptly forgot. I even looked up his maximum HP. Thanks!

![]() |

It happens. :)

![]() |

Good work, everyone! Things are left to be wrapped up. I should have Chronicles ready by morning.

![]() |

Okay!
We made it )))

![]() |

Here we are, let me know if everything is in order there. Thanks for sticking around!

![]() |

Thank you very much for running this GM Crunch!
And thanks all for a fun party )))
Be safe and roll high

![]() |

@ GM Crunch - Chronicle looks good! Thanks again for running!
