My mother-in-law, who’s lived with me for the past twelve years and has battled cancer for the last three, passed away on Sunday. I’m still good to play my games, since I’m not “over-committed,” I often post when I’m in a parent pick-up line or dance/music school parking lot, and none of my games are moving too fast for me. But I want others to be aware that my family is going through a difficult time right now.
(I’m using a spoiler tag so this isn’t something you have to read every time you look at the OoC/Discussion thread.)

I'm sorry for the loss of your mother-in-law. Be there for your family.

Sending Internet hugs!
...Unity hugs would be quite something. XD

Small check in and update.
House is settled, flight is shortly. Presumably (if im not scammed) i have my apartment, and once that apartment has internet, I should be posting regularly again.
Gonna read up on those posts while I'm on my flights I think, (3,500miles)
Hope you had a safe and enjoyable flight!

Unity, Chimeric Superhero |

Yes, I hope all goes well with your flight and living space!

Zellgato |

Hectic few weeks. but finally got internet again, and in theory, my old house has sold if nothing goes wrong in the next few days.
Now time to catch up reading, that'll be my task this week. 111ish.
hope all has been well for folks as well.

Theo will post when the supernova is resolved.

Charge
Charging is a full action that allows you to move up to double your speed and make a melee attack at the end of the movement. You can draw a weapon during a charge attack if your base attack bonus is at least +1.
Charging carries tight restrictions on how you can move. You must move at least 10 feet (2 squares), and all movement must be directly toward the designated opponent, though diagonal movement is allowed. You must have a clear path toward the opponent, and you must move to the space closest to your starting square from which you can attack the opponent. If this space is occupied or blocked, you can’t charge. If any line from your starting space to the ending space passes through a square that blocks movement, slows movement (such as difficult terrain), or contains a creature (even an ally), you can’t charge. You can still move through helpless creatures during a charge. If you don’t have line of sight (see page 271) to the opponent at the start of your turn, you can’t charge that opponent.
Attacking on a Charge: After moving, you can make a single melee attack. You take a –2 penalty to the attack roll and a –2 penalty to your AC until the start of your next turn. You can’t move any farther after the attack. Some classes, including solarian and soldier, grant abilities that modify attacks made on charges.

I'm going to be away from home today through the 30th, so my responses may be sporadic.

The Olympian |

Is Moreau's invitation only for Unity? Doers Unity with us to join him. The godling looks to the Chimera for his wishes.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

Henri Patineur |

Quick question: Henri has information to share but I don't recall if we have a way to do such privately. I think we rely on spoken word through our communicators, correct?

Tarren the Dungeon Master |

Was there a door to this room, or was it an open hallway to a room?
if there was a door. Did they open it with a button, or was it automatic and or probably the AI door control?
It automatically opened when Moreau's vehicle slipped up next to it. Moreau's institute is quite seamless. It looks natural, but is highly technological with AI Montgomery's running the place.

Unity, Chimeric Superhero |

No group telepathy as of yet.
Obviously we need to fight more telepaths so Unity can develop the trait.

Nissa, the Subatomic Bombshell |

Sydney Sweeney is the real life equivalent of Nissa van Donk. I suppose Nissa could be advertising jeans and throwing the first pitch at a Red Sox game while I’m away. Maybe an ad depicting her in a tea cup, advertising an iced tea made from hot tea that Nissa bathed in?
I hope all is well with you guys! I miss gaming with you, but the last 5 weeks have been crazy-busy. I gave up digital art too, and am treating my doctoral program as my creative outlet.

Yeah, hope things are going well for you!

Zellgato can practically smell the whiff of fear. Dr. Wonderful may, according to his bio, have lightning reflexes and superior strength, but he was still scared of the Unity for half a second, until he recognized him.
"Phade asked me if I wanted to be part of something bigger," Mr. Wonderful says. He pauses, turns his head, achieves the perfect noble pose, before adding, "How could I refuse?"
Haha! I can't wait to see what happens when Dr. Wonderful meets The Olympian!

Nissa, the Subatomic Bombshell |

Can Nissa really go to Wand School and get back to her modelling career on World Zero and work on her relationship on Tarokh? Hahah.
I hope the doctoral program is going well.
Yeah, hope things are going well for you!
Thanks!
So far, a 4.0, assuming I didn’t totally blow it on the last assignment of my first course. Just a 1-credit intro, but still… I’ll take a strong start!

A strong start is good for sure! :)

Hey, Nissa! Glad you could check in - and glad things are starting off well.

Henri Patineur |

Tarren the Dungeon Master wrote:"Everyone wants to use this. It's just so very, very fast."Unity look doubtful. "Should we be reassured by the fact that it's so fast but it hasn't been crashed into anything? Because 'fast' and 'amateur pilot' don't seem like a good combination."
Unity do not have piloting ranks...
You are teasing me! I’m dying here!

We are late in the packing for our annual fall trip to somewhere else. I will likely have access, at least by phone, so my normal (slow) rate of posting should not be interrupted. In case I don't get back here for a minute, have a fantastic day. Every day.
Cheers!

Enjoy your trip. Since we are all on different trajectories, no one's waiting for you to post. :-)
When you do get back to it, I believe Verve was asking where you got your nanites.

Aerel Truthseeker |

Thanks for the reminder. I think the planet where he got them was Utopia, wasn't it? Weren't we keeping what we found there close to the vest?
