Technically, the round is still not up, so if someone else could heal me before I stop Bloodraging and hence keel over at -1, that would be handy.
Also, you forgot to account for my barbed vest.

![]() |

Jezebel. I have nothing immediate as we are dealing with a potion of cure light wounds here. Either you collapse next round and my character feeds it to you as his full round action or you spend another round of rage and you can take it from him and drink it down yourself.
Relgar draws forth the potion of cure light wounds ready to give it or feed it to Jezebel.

GM Ietsuna |

Jezebel falls to the ground as her bloodrage fades. You hear the scuff of boots on the stairs. Not knowing who or what could be you turn toward the door, weapons raised to defend your fallen comrade. A head peeks around the corner of the doorway. It wears a wrap of linen and is adorned with trinkets and the like. Praise Saranae I found you at last. I awoke this morning with the strongest feeling that I should travel to this ruin and i knew not why. Here, let me see to your fallen friend
She leans down and casts cure light wounds on Jezebel.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

![]() |

Relgar looks on with appreciation as the young woman heals her companion. He looks a bit closer at the statue of the goddess Saranae clutched by the healer and notices in fine print a stamp reading Kyra #4539. He shrugs his shoulders not having a clue what that might signify.
"Well met. Just in the nick of time. I am Relgar. You have just healed Jezebel and the lizard-man around the corner is Heroki."
While he introduces his party he stows his potion of healing and then scans the place for loot and possible magic (Detect Magic).

GM Ietsuna |

On the corpse of the troglodyte you find a key. Inside the rusty iron chest you find a suit of masterwork studded leather armor, a masterwork buckler, a masterwork rapier, a shortbow with 15 arrows, a scroll of cure moderate wounds, a scroll of invisibility, a wayfinder and a climber’s kit.

![]() |

Relgar briefly looks over the scroll of Invisibility with Read Magic and hands the scroll of cure moderate wounds to Kyra. He tucks the scroll of Invisibility into an easily accessible front pocket.
"Would you big people mind handling the rest of the equipment? I don't have a reindeer or even a badger to help out here."
"When you are all ready we should probably explore the next room (11)."

![]() |

Jezebel who I assume gets more healing before moving on looks over the studded leather and rapier with obvious interest - but looks sidelong at Heroki while doing so...you want either of these, Heroki?

GM Ietsuna |

I had not intended to play Kyra, but was just getting her into the room and getting you conscious. Heal up as much as you like Jezebel.
Relgar moves forward and opens the next door. Inside he sees a bare room and a figure huddled in the north east corner. The figure is a human man and is shackled to a staple hammered into the floor. You see bruises up and down his arms and legs and blood crusts his nostrils and runs from his forehead and mouth.
Please, no more beatings. PLEASE
It seems to take a moment to register that you are not his captors at which point his pleas for mercy turn to pleas for freedom.

![]() |

Relgar looks around the room carefully and listens to the man's story for its veracity.
He scans the room for magic as well (Detect Magic).

"Jezebel can you help him with the chains?"
"Who are you?"

![]() |

Relgar puts his hand on his hips standing a mighty three feet tall.
"Let us not leave this poor man here. Breaking chains is not my thing."
I am not sure if level 1 Kyra even has a wand. She can use another Cure Light Wounds on Jezebel from her domain or prepared slots however.

GM Ietsuna |

The key that Jezebel tries pops the manacles open with no problems. He stands up. My thanks for rescuing me. I am Balenar Forsend, an agent of the Pathfinder Society. Allow me to aid you in your mission in any way I can, as repayment for rescuing me.

![]() |

"Great Belenar. Perhaps stay in the back with Kyra in the meanwhile. Do you have any special skills that we should know of?

![]() |

Jezebel sighs as she presents the masterwork leather and rapier she'd just been eyeing.
"In that case, I suppose these are yours?"
At any rate: Qapla'! First Faction Objective accomplished!

GM Ietsuna |

I am a bard and a teller of tales. My words can be inspiring to my companions also.
I have placed his stat block over in the discussion tab

![]() |

"Sure we can always use some cheerful words. Why don't you heal yourself and stay in the back with Kyra?"
"Shall we enter the next room(8) when everyone is ready?"
He might be 3rd level but his hit points and AC are low so I suggest we just keep him in reserve for now casting and singing.

His familiar is a toad so a bit of frog empathy there. We all beat him in initiative so violence is not necessary.

I guess we have to be patient around the holidays. If people do not spring back I guess my character can head home with partial rewards.

![]() |

Heroki doubles and snatches the studded leather from Jezebel.
”Thank You, for holding that for me!”
He says with wry smile while doning the armor.

![]() |

"Last person out shut the door. We can take this upstairs and finish exploring this fortress."

GM Ietsuna |

The four wings of the tower are completely open on this level, forming one great, cross-shaped chamber with arched ceilings. The decayed remnants of a carpet run from the doorways at the end of each wing, meeting in the center, where a spiral staircase drops out of sight below. A large, throne-like chair stands in the middle of the eastern wing next to a big chest. Standing behind the throne and staring out towards the city in the distance is a troglodyte and at his side is an albino crocodile.

![]() |

I imagine that the Trog has not spotted the party. Or has he?

![]() |

Struggling to get into his armor, Heroki wanders in second to last. As he walks through the door he finishes donning his armor, and notices the Troglodyte and it’s pet.
”Is that a scaly chicken?

Relgar suppresses a grin and turns to Heroki.

Nice Jezebel
Jezebel rushes forward, her sword raised. She runs up and slashes her longsword down into the reptilian flesh making a vicious cut down the left side of his torso.
