I'm fine too as long as I am at my desk computer. Junko, you can always creat a shape (like a round colored dot) and place it where you like and then use the arrange function to place it at the layer you want. Usually I just send to the back and then bring it forward one layer that way the fireball or web or whatever is on the second to bottom layer of the map, and all the other icons (besides the base map) can move over it.

The vulture pilot spurs his flying mount higher and towards Konner. He tosses a small vial at Konner that misses but explodes on impact into a ball of fire, splattering the foliage and setting them ablaze! Ranged touch, range 35', mounted: 1d20 + 9 - 6 - 4 ⇒ (13) + 9 - 6 - 4 = 12
deviation: 1d8 ⇒ 3 As he swoops past Konner he spots the other PCs and lets out a howl. "More longshanks, behind trees! One, two, many, lots longshanks!"
Konner dashes forward and attack the blue goblin, slashing him across the middle and preparing to parry any return attack.
The blue goblin reels under Kooner's attack and drops his bow, unslinging his horsechopper and swinging it wildly at his foe. horsechopper: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14 Konner easily parries the blow and slides his rapier down the haft and into the goblin's shoulder, but his blade is stooped by the goblin's pauldrons.
The red goblin ducks through the bushes to get behind Konner, and attacks with his horsechopper as well but missing. horsechopper, flank: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 2 = 14

Natula's bolt blasts the vulture and its rider. They head groundward, trailing smoke and ash, and hit the ground with a significant thud.
Blue sees the vulture crash, realizes there's no one between him and freedom, and does a full withdrawl through the trees. (Still on map, but you don't know exactly what square they're in, as vision is blocked.)
Red also chooses the better part of valor, but flees through the violet fog while avoiding Konner. Fort save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12 Partway through, he decides that the big bird he's next to is actually rather pretty, and he stops to pet it. It lets him (at least until it get a chance to make a save on its turn!)

10 gallons of water a turn. Water can be created in an area as small as will actually contain the liquid, or in an area three times as large — possibly creating a downpour or filling many small receptacles.

But, Spots isn't smart enough to know that the two nearer foes are not going to attack, and he can't see the red goblin you designate. So, I don't see how he can follow your commands. You can have him attack either of the two nearer targets, though.

I don't bother rolling free action handle animals because, well, they are a free action with no penalty for failure, you just keep rolling until you pass. That is the biggest benefit of commanding a companion over a random animal.

Natula leaps lithely across the stream and discovers the vulture and its pilot crumpled on the ground, still smoking from the barrage of spells.

Red goblin shakes off the effects of the cloud and runs for it, leaving the axe beak sad but still euphoric.
The yellow goblin quickly surrenders, leaving you with one live prisoner, an unconscious goblin vulture pilot and mount, and a live-but-euphoric axe beak.
Combat over! What do youw ant to do with the preisoners and the axe beak?
