Yeah, I'm also saddened by the whole Mylok affair. Or perhaps worried is a better word. I hope he's fine.

I'm assuming we won't have a chance to rest anytime soon, so what will we be doing about gained spell slots from leveling up and things like re-allocating my mental focus?

How comfortable are you with the undead template, actually? (hopefully I won't regret this joke)

Regarding leveling up, I believe that what would make most sense would be that you just add it on top of your remaining slots. So:

1) If you have 1 remaining slot right now
2) and get a new slot from lvl 2
3) you have 2 remaining slots after levelling up

Does that make sense? Happy to hear suggestions/requests if you have any.

I actually find it weird to level this way, in the middle of a dungeon, as I like to see levelling up as the result of reflection, training, etc, but I do believe you'll need some extra firepower.

That about checks out. I'll just allocate my 1 new point of focus to whatever school I unlock (I think I had been set on abjuration previously, I'll have to look again). So same things for additional HP? Just stack new HP on top?

I prefer skeleton to zombie, by the way. Nothing worse than being slowed!

I think I understand: anything we've used remain expended, but we get all our new toys on top of that. Right? I haven't really been using any of my expendable abilities, since we've so few of them to start with (and no real chance to rest and replenish them!). Maybe I can start doing that now!

Regarding Skurly, I will send him a message. If he doesn't reply soon, I will have him joining Mylok (btw, this is what our gunslinger is doing in my headcanon). The module was designed for 4 PCs originally, so we should be fine if everyone posts at a reasonable rhythm.

I just wanted to elaborate on what exactly happened to me in Sept/Oct.

I was in a fairly bad car wreck which left me with 2 cracked ribs, and a bunch of bruises. I reached out to GM Omelas and asked that GM let my games know that I would be back in a bit. But, as it turns out, the doctor at the ER missed the fact that I had a broken tibia as well. Other than some bruising, you couldn’t tell by looking at my leg that anything had happened. So, after a little over week of telling my wife that my left leg was not feeling any better and was starting to feel worse we finally got a doctor to x-ray my leg. Well, they had to rebreak my leg since it had already started to heal some.

Fast forward to the end of December and I’m feeling better. But then, my 6 & ½ month old son starts breathing erratically and his O2 levels are way low at night when he sleeps. (We have him wear a pulse oximeter.) Turns out, he had such a strong cold that his congestion was keeping him from breathing properly and he had to hospitalized for a few days.

Needless to say, I was straight up not having a good time. Other than sit around and watch TV, I really had no desire to do much of anything.

Now, however, bruises are healed, ribs are healed, and my leg is still broken. But pretty close to being healed ( I hope.)

Weird question though, since I've almost always leveled during some rest period, how are HP being handled?

Like, if your character was at 2/10 HP and now has a max of 20, do you have 2/20 or 12/20?
