Add one more purchase to my list since I have the Bulk to carry it.
Portable Gangway for 2,700 Credits. (This will come in handy. 30 feet long and 10 feet wide bridge that folds up. Can place it at a 45 degree angle. I did the math. A 45 degree angle would make 21.21 feet horizontal and vertical. Also a 2 Ton weight limit, so as long as a Dragon doesn't land on it...).

It's hard to tell, evidently he's already quite knowledgeable on these topics and getting more generic info isn't stimulating to him. You'll probably have to get in the weeds a little and find out specifics of how to pique his interest.

Read: You'll probably need a different skill, since his Culture is already high.

That's vipers main non-combat skills - and if she's missing on 23's which at this level is pretty decent with a +12 modifier, then she's out of luck and all we're doing is losing influence.

  • hacking the datapad (either to read what she is reading or just to turn it off.)
  • Using a spell telepathic message to impress military intelligence.
  • buttering up the negotiator (drow) to learn what might influence other members?

    It's a good question, one that's come up a lot in my games. The way I read it based on sentence sequence, the first attack has to hit in order for the ricochets to fire; if the initial attack misses, there are no ricochets, but if it hits, all the ricochets go off.

    Another rules question raised on my current turn (one that was pretty hotly debated in my area until recently): Does it take an action to activate a jetpack? It doesn't say one way or another in the description, which led some folks to say it defaulted to the 'unless otherwise stated it takes a standard action' position. Others in our area read the 'gives you a fly speed' part and figured that's just a fly speed, no activation needed (figuring it's the future, it probably doesn't take more effort to activate a jetpack than it does to activate jump jets). For what it's worth, we asked Rob McCreary when he came down for a semi-local con, and he's of the opinion that it does not take an action, it just gives you a fly speed (though asking Rob at a con obviously is not an official rules source).

    All this is to say, I doubled-moved using Shoo's jetpack. If you are of the opinion it takes an action to activate, then he should be moved back 30 feet.
