If only I'd tried harder to work out what buttons these people needed pressing earlier. thinks Kultanien.
With the team focusing on Goryu, Kultanien does her charming best.
"Hello again Goryu. It seems our more martial prowess have impressed some of your companions. But we both know that a soft word can have a lot more power to it than a big gun... if the word is the right one. How do you feel about working more closely with the Pact worlds? "
diplomacy(one aid): 1d20 + 13 + 1d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 13 + (4) + 1 + 2 = 27 May need another aid in here as this is a second diplo attempt

Lucky's on it!
Lucky remains at the bar, deciding whether to try to swipe whatever bottle is clearly nothing but industrial solvent. 'Cause that could come in handy...
Err... Amethyst's on it!
"It's true, Goryu. You could use allies who understand when a smile is as deadly as a blade."
Aid: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20

Goryu cracks a toothy grin. "Ain't that the truth. If it weren't for nice words and a smile, I'd be out of a job, possibly out of a home. Blasters and shovels were never in the cards for me, ya know?"
One Diplomacy success for Goryu! DC increased to 30.
Current Status (all may post for fourth social round)
Ceobarn: Profession +1
Goryu: Diplomacy +2, -1; Special +1
Imako: impressed!
Noraka: impressed!

"Oh, I can relate. I'm much more comfortable chatting with folks than shooting at them."

"And in the wrong hands, Blasters can be a weapon again you too." points out Kultanien.

Q'Qwaan

Whatwh... Q'Qwaan begins. I say... he tries again. He opens his mouth again to speak to Goryu, but something stops him. He purses his lips with a Harum. Seeing Kultainen capably negotiating with the hobgoblin, he instead moves over to the drow.
"What do you think of the Starfinder's abilities of impressing?"
Sense motive: 1d20 ⇒ 13

In case partial credit counts for anything.

"So let's get down to brass tacks Ceobarn. I understand that you might not want to get too chummy when it comes to revealing supply lines, especially with the whole Society. So, in the past when it comes to... tense exchanges, there are some reputable third parties I've worked who are willing to keep things in a kind of... debatably legal escrow. Something like that work for your set up?"
| GM Skeemo |
Goryu seems to be thoroughly enjoying his conversation with you, while Ceobarn keeps his distance appreciates Lucky's "business strategies." Following the dialogue, the Authority and representatives and Ceobarn retreat to another room. A few minutes later, the Authority representatives return and let the Starfinders know of their decision: they toast the fruitful negotiations and ongoing accord between the Authority and the Society! Additionally, Noraka lets Fitch and Lucky know that she looks forward to working on the Master of Stars and repairing the vessel’s Drift engines. Afterward, the Authority representatives and Ceobarn say their farewells, and Authority troopers escort you and Fitch back to your starship. Shortly after, the you return to Absalom Station while Fitch praises you aboard the starship, but otherwise lets them know that they won’t have any further formal debrief, as she’ll handle all the particulars once you all return.
That's it! Full rewards and a special boon from impressing all the Authority representatives (although not Ceobarn)! Chronicle sheets will be up soon so make sure your details in Discussion are all there and correct. Hope you all had fun!

Wow, a totally social scenario! Okay, with one little combat. This reminds me of 7-22 Bid for Alabastrine.
Thanks for the run, this was the perfect scenario for Kultanien.
