I have an aspis-bane sword that I bought off of a chronicle and it is my arcane bond. He's basically just a buff bard that can hold his own in melee except for the following:
Serpent Shogun's emergency b%&*~@@%: Serpent Shogun can use Dazzling Display to demoralize everyone within 30 ft. as a standard action thanks to order of the cockatrice. He can then use improved dirge of doom as a move action afterwards to increase shaken to frightened. Thus, he can frighten all enemies within 30 ft. in one round without them being allowed a save. As indicated by "emergency b&$~%@#+," I won't use the combo unless it's an emergency, so it might not even come up. I've only done it once before, to save someone from getting chomped by a gargantuan t-rex that was grappling them.

Day Job: Naalij is a weaponsmith, and uses Crafter’s Fortune when doing his trade, and has a shop in absalom. Dayjob: 1d20 + 12 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 12 + 5 + 1 = 22
Random information Naalij has the Firesight feat, allowing him to view threw fire and smoke without penalty (he has Pyrotechnics and Wall of Fire on his spell list). I just realized Ash Cloud is not smoke and the feat wouldn’t help. Naalij casts Mage Armor and Cushining Bands when he wakes up, and 10 hours after that.

Btw, GM, since I know that the Aspis sometimes like to hang out in the tapestry, I have a boon that will apply if we have to deal with Aspis or their hirelings:

I think these are all the boons that we picked up during the muster:
* Once during the adventure, when the group encounters one or more undead opponents, the group can activate this reward to grant the PCs a +4 bonus on their initiative checks for that encounter. GM, for ease of PbP do you want to just apply this the first time that we encounter some undead?
* Once during the adventure, one PC can gain a +2 bonus to a Charisma-based skill check made when interacting with a creature in the tapestry. The PC can roll twice and
take the better result (in addition to gaining the +2 bonus). Do we have a party face? Good one for them.
* Once during the adventure, [u]each PC[/u] can choose to re-roll a failed skill check made as part of their movement (such as Acrobatics, Climb, or Fly).
* Once during the adventure, one PC can reroll a d20 roll and use the new result.
* Each time the PCs attempt a Knowledge check to identify a creature in the tapestry, one PC can choose to gain a +2 bonus on the check. Who is our best Knowledge PC? Undy has +15 or +17 in the main ones, and +11 or +12 in the others. It would be good to just decide now who will apply this to their checks.
* Once during this adventure before attempting a Will save, one PC can roll twice and choose the better result.
* Each PC gets a potion of cure serious wounds and an additional potion of the PC’s choice that does not have an expensive material component. In Subtier 10–11, this is a 1st-, 2nd-, or 3rd-level potion. Undy will take a potion of Heroism (50 minutes duration).

It is not an action, and it heals all PCs for 5d6, and if it is boosted it adds 2d6.

Reminder to everyone that we still have the following boons, picked up at the start of the scenario:

I'm not sure if I can do anything during this encounter. The bird is too high to melee and my arrows don't do anything? (I can't tell if I missed with a 19, or it has DR 15 that magic weapons cannot overcome).
If anyone has a suggestion for me, I'm all ears.

I will know soon enough if cold iron helps where normal steel, magic and good-aligned was not working. If it is 15/- then we may be in trouble.

Luckily, you are much more of a melee combatant than Serpent Shogun, so he's happy to lend you his jetpack :D

This PC is my highest level PC, and she's spent most of her time in the Emerald Spire (where ceilings are low.)
My 2nd highest PC is a witch with Overland Flight and the Flight Hex, so I'm pretty spoiled :)

Potions of Fly are definitely vital at high levels.
And he has DR 15/? something you haven't identified yet.

Since Undy has just "used" our feather to attempt to repair the tapestry, my suggestion is that Naalij empower this new one, so that we can pass it on to another table and give them a chance to use it again.

I missed that we could only do one of those, so repair with the one we got from defeating the first phoenix, and, on the damaged one, Naalij puts uses one use of an ability that does fire damage, so he uses one of 11 uses per day of Elemental Ray.
