Or sell it as "Druid Friendly"! I'll set up the final combat today.

GM TOP |

Okay, I'm just going to place everyone at the top floor and start initiative. It's very unlikely that anyone could stealth up and get a surprise round off, since once you reach the top of the stairs you are out in the open area of the top level. Plus, if we ran it that way, most of the party would be stuck down below on the stairs and that could definitely cause some issues. But, I will start everyone more than 30 ft away so no Fort saves until you get closer to the Trog.
The four wings of the tower are completely open on this level, forming one great, cross-shaped chamber with arched ceilings. The decayed remnants of a carpet run from the doorways at the end of each wing, meeting in the center, where a spiral staircase drops out of sight below. A large, throne-like chair stands in the middle of the eastern wing next to a big chest.
On one side of the throne is the biggest troglodyte you have seen yet. Snuffling around at the base of the throne is an albino crocodile, red beady eyes blinking in the sun. It hisses as the group comes up the stairs and the troglodyte turns to attack!
Balanar recites, "We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive!"
Inspire Courage is up, +1 to hit & damage, +1 vs. Fear effects.

Omnia moves up, mutilates his own body with burning magical energy, then releases the energy into the sky! PEW PEW!!!
Quensha charges forwards and almost gasps on the noxious stench, but at the last moment feels the hand of fate guiding her fortitude to resist. Taking all that in stride, she strikes a mighty blow to the large troglodyte, who seems quite impressed with her abilities but does not fall.
Tamru casts a small little boost to Eclipse, then sends him into the fray to occupy the croc. The mighty kitty easily keeps the attention of the scaly lizard with a nasty bite to the throat. The crocodile responds with snapping jaws, attempting to grab the big cat.
Eclipse easily backs away from the jaws and ducks under the tail that whips around trying to catch her offguard. The big ole troglodyte eyes her target with rage and with no way to keep the heat off her, she decides to show the punk in front of her how strong she really is, clawing and biting at Quensha like a wild animal!
claws 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15 for BP: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 for BPS: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
All three attacks land, leaving Quensha a quivering pile of hacked up meat. She collapses to the ground unconscious and bleeding out, her weapon fallen from her grasp.
(12 damage Quensha, but Balenar healed you on his turn for 7 so you are instead -5 HP, prone & currently unarmed)
Balenar rushes up and reaches down to touch the fallen warrior, "DANGIT! COVER ME, I'LL TRY TO SAVE HER!!!"

"Mmmmm. So much anger. Anger is the path to darkness, mmmmm."
Gnoda ambles closer to the melee, and waits for his allies to fire their missiles before working his gnomish magic again.
Fort vs stench: 1d20 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 2 + 4 = 22
Swift action: painful/hypnotic stare on the boss trog: -2 will saves, and once per round +1hp damage when he is hit.
Ready action - after Jacques and Omnia make their ranged attacks (Fiata too if that's what she wants to do), Gnoda casts Grease SLA, DC15, targeting the highlighted squares.

![]() |

Fiata casts a spell to bolster all her allies. "Pathfinders, this is our time to shine!"
Casting Moment of Greatness
Essentially, for the next minute, you can double your MORALE bonus on a single roll.

How I hate soft cover -_-
Jacques quickly positions himself to shoot at the crocodile, Eclipse only slightly obstructing his line of fire.
Attack, Longbow, PBS+IC+Flag: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 19
Damage, Longbow, IC+Flag: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

![]() |

Quensha is lying prone and so providing no cover, you began with a bead on the trog druid. My crit confirm shows that your attack roll would hit (barring special defences against ranged). Might be worth a retcon. If GM approves.

GM TOP |

Likely that both enemies are dead with those two attacks, even assuming worst case for cover and such. I'll look after lunch and see if that is the case.

Oh, yeah, forgot you were prone. Well, waiting for GM word on this.

GM TOP |

Jacques and Omnia blast energy and arrows at the boss, both connecting with her large frame and combining to drop her to the ground, unconscious. Omnia inspires her allies, hoping to allow them to get one tiny little push over the edge.
Both were necessary to take the boss down, but now at least you all only have the croc to worry about. Gnoda, would you like to relocate your grease to underneath the croc?
Final Combat
Round 1 (Buffs: Inspire Courage & Flag)
Trog (-39 & DOWN) & Croc (-8)

Just enough!
Quensha stands and the katana circling her body zips towards the croc, slashing across the back of its neck and leaving a large wound. The creature collapses to the ground unconscious!
Next to the throne is a large chest. What do the mighty pathfinders do?

![]() |

Jacques sighs and wipes his brow. He turns to the team.
"Well done. It seems we have cleared the fortress. Well, except for that frog downstairs."
He points to the chest. "Shall we?"

![]() |

"Not quite yet..."
Quensha coup de graces both the crocodile and the troglodyte. She then heals herself with a channel of positive energy.
channel: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Then she casts detect magic over the troglodyte and crocodile, followed by the chest.
If she detects anything then she will concentrate for three rounds to get maximum detail.

GM TOP |

Quensha notices one magical item when scanning those things. Focusing upon it, she recognizes that the cloak the dead troglodyte is wearing is magical.
+1 Cloak of Resistance
Once the chest is confirmed to be unlocked and untrapped, she views more magical auras on items inside.
masterwork short sword, 15 cold iron shurikens, two flasks of acid, a potion of cat’s grace, potion of lesser restoration, wand of summon monster I (CL 3rd, 9 charges), amethyst worth 100 gp, 247 gp in assorted coins
Quensha's Tower is yours!!!

![]() |

”Mmmmmm. Treasure not make one rich” says Gnoda as he pokes through the trove with his stick.
”Well we fought. Like pathfinders yes.” Gnoda stands leaning on his stick, a satisfied smile on his hairy green face.
nice playing with you all folks, and thanks for running GM.

![]() |

"Well, we had better record everything we can. Explore, report, co=operate and all that."
Only lucky rolls, cool buffing and the craziness of level 1 let a cleric with light armour lead the charge. This has been ridiculous! Fantastic! Both!
Thanks GM TOP, it's been a blast.

![]() |

Jacques nods silently and dusts his clothes.
"Good work, all of you." He reaches for his belt and unclasps a flask. "Here's for Quensha's tower!" He says with one of his rare smiles before taking a swallow and passing the flask around.
Good job team! Was really nice playing with you. Thanks a lot for running this GM TOP!

Tamru ruffles Eclipse's fur, You did well girl, yes. Cogratulations all, we seem to have secured this place. Lets get what we came for, make some maps and head aback to Absalom. I could do with a drink.
