Nik tastes the planar energies around him and is confident he's on the Prime Material plane, though not his home.

Little more than a dark shape with two flickering points of light appears and a wispy voice intones, "Your lives are ours on which to feed! You belong to the Lovelost.."

re: Command Undead: They don't get channel resistance, 'cause it isn't channeling, but it allows SR as well as a will save...
Also, anyone want Mage Armor? Its +4 doesn't stack with armor you're wearing, but it works against incorporeal undead...

The shadowy figure floats over to Conor and Jek is ready for it, it’s form is disrupted a little by his lance but is by no means stopped. It ignores the undead, sensing no life from them.

Rinika casts invisibility and slaps Conor's butt, saying "This'll help until you attack again!" Then she beats a retreat.

if it's one of those energy damage adding things, I don't think it multiplies. I know Flaming doesn't add on a crit, just the base 1d6, but flaming burst will add a d10 until it adds enough dice to match the crit (e.g. 1d6+2d10 on a x3 crit weapon)
Also, incorporeal foes might be crit immune, but undead definitely aren't :3
@Conor: shouldn't you have more bonuses to AC? I know we all have +1 Deflection from ABP, which doesn't matter at the moment, but maybe it's worth double checking...

don't think so, 9 for the plate, 1 for dex plus the +1 for attunement deflection. Don't think we get natural armor till next level?

and yeah, it's corrosive so it's just like flaming, which I don't think gets crit bonuses. Probably should have sold this thing and got the greensteel :)

I'm hoping that despite the incorporeal and even if the crit doesn't count that Jek and Conor smacked it enough to not need Niks spell :). Though Rinika's handy spell (and butt smack) makes me feel a lot better about Conor's chances in round two.

The ground crunches as an armored knee hits the floor and a blade sinks deep, as Conor puts this weight on his sword and breathes deep for a few moments, then cusses in six different languages.

"I'm here and fine." a disembodied voice echos out of nowhere, though clanking of armor can be used to pinpoint the invisible bastard pretty quickly. "Let's keep moving, that things touch is quite unpleasant."

As the group moves out Rinika will feel an invisible hand on her shoulder and a soft, "Thanks."

Shortly after defeating the life sucking undead, Nik finally realizes that Rinika is so extra fluffy today because this place is too cold.

"Hey Rinika, c'mere a second." he says as he pulls out a scroll and hands his crossbow to a shambler to carry for a minute.

After casting the spell on the scroll to charge his hand, he reaches out to pat her head.
"How's that?"

Rinika starts to scheme with a Cheshire cat grin for a way to get Conor into a compromising position and then dismiss the invisibility, but the chill suddenly takes her, sending a chill through her and setting her teeth to chattering. Scheming forgotten, she huddles into her scarves and coat. She looks at Nik as he pats her on the head, and purrs contentedly as warmth flows through her again. "Thanks Nik, that's way better."

assuming that the endure elements happens after the extra hour of cold exposure, you should be fatigued for another... 5 hours? until that nonlethal heals (normally 1hr per nonlethal). Or I could cast Repair Undead and hope to overcome your save xD
(RAW it isn't healing, but RAI it does undo "entropy")

Looking for something distracting, he calls to Jek and Conor "Hey guys, if you don't mind me buying new material with the party fund to replace 'em, I've got more doodles to keep us warm."

well, the invisibility lasts 7 minutes and taking environmental damage that's still nonlethal is hourly iirc...
@GM: Yeah, can we see him? Rinika will need to grab is butt again soon.

Once the the wraith is spotted it quickly flies away into the darkness.

Nik adds quickly, remembering Jek.

"...Anyway, we can try to push forward a little faster for a bit. Is there room up there for Zombington too?" Nik asks before looking over his shoulder for another wraith.

Also, we could hustle without the zombie, but only for an hour before we'd need to make checks...and I'm not yet convinced that 2 hours of hustling would be worth my 1 scroll of Mount or abandoning Zombington. Should've left Zombington back at the HQ xD
Light horses move 35'/round even while encumbered, though :D

Are your skelingtons smart enough to follow us behind? Wraiths seem to be ignoring them so they could trudge along unmolested, assuming they can reach the portal on their own.

the skeleton can double move forward for 70' each round. It's immune to the non-lethal damage from hustling.
(It's immune to morale bonuses, but somehow the move speed boost is an enhancement bonus)
If we're hustling, then it'd make sense to stick him in a barrel too, but otherwise we're going 45' or 40' per round. Depending on if Jek is encumbered or not.

As Jek continues to struggle over the difficult terrain, Nik becomes annoyed at the not very smooth ride.
"Remind me that I need a flying mount next time we kill something big enough that flies."

technically, you'll want to heal that after we're in a warmer place. Also, healing restores both lethal and nonlethal for the rolled amount, so you'll get back up to your... lowered max hp

"The cold doesn't bother me." Nik shrugs.

Can't send the shamblers first into a good aligned town...
Letting Zombington out of containment, Nik looks to everyone else to go first while flanked on either side by his two loyal servants.
