Moving on…

You leave for Caderis trailing a string of mortified Windglummers in your wake.

Caderis

You travel to Caderis, a short and relatively easy route from Windglum. It is within a ruined fortress that is itself within a cavern that serves as a waymeet for travelers. The room is dim and smells of waste, rot, and cheap bub. A blue-skinned man with white hair and dark eyes sits behind what might pass for a bar. He silently watches you come in.

Seated around a large, round table, amidst the broken remains of a few other tables and chairs, is an odd-looking group of berks. A human with long black hair and a long black beard quietly sips from a broken mug. Next to him sits a basher who must be 9 feet tall, with mottled green skin and wild, green hair. On the other side of the table, a long, plump wormlike creature downs a cup of swill with one of its four arms. Around the creature stand three dirty, disheveled, four armed humanoids, each leaning on a thick wooden spear.

Baraxx peels his lips back in a slight snarl as he takes in the room and it’s inhabitants. Normally he’d be happy for some bub and grub, but his constant crankiness has him feeling less excited at the prospect for a drink.

Looking over the group at the table, he cheers a bit, as this group looks like one that might just decide to let him take some of his irritation out on them, getting his violence on had always cheered him some in the past. Still, with a side eye towards their pacifist fairy, he holds his tongue and doesn’t try to pick a fight, opting instead for a challenging glare around the room.

The blue skinned tiefling behind the makeshift bar starts to say, ”Yeah, another gentleman was in here just yesterday asking about the same thing…” But before he can finish the human basher with the long black beard yells, ”All right, that’s it! Too many people know about this. You must all die!” With that, his group leaps up from their table and attacks.

The man with the black beard kind of vibrates a bit sending waves of weird energy at you.

You are not flanking with Baraxx, you would have to get below the enemy to do so.

Baraxx lashes out at the black haired man but he holds his ground against the flying tiefling. Jek's lance at first glances off one of the two shields the strange humanoid holds but, he fixes his grip and eviscerates it with kindness a second later.

The troll bellows Raaaaagh! YOU KILLED MY FRIEND!" Even though his friend is clearly still breathing just unconscious on the floor. The troll leans in with one shoulder and barrels through Nik to Jek.

The troll is using the feat charge through and overrunning Nik

please move Nik down or down+right if stuff slows him down ^^

Nik definitely doesn't try to stand in the way of the large angry troll screaming past him.
He hopes the troll isn't in the habit of stabbing fleeing necromancers as he runs behind Jek and casts Haste on everyone except Baraxx, who is presently too far away.

Both Jek and Baraxx punish the troll for not being more careful, but it cares very little for the wounds they inflict on it. Nik scrambles away except he scrambles too close to the troll's falchion. Meanwhile Lunk and Savi dart in and out of the trolls reach in an effort to bring the raging beast down.

Baraxx, having displayed his threat to them, the four armed foes test their spears against his armor. The first two bounce away harmlessly, but the large worm like creature stabs its rather large spear in the tiefling's flank, narrowly missing his kidney.

The bearded man takes out a small fruit tart and pelts Baraxx with it. Emotion wells up in him and Baraxx begins to chuckle. Will save DC 17, or laugh uncontrollably

Rinika glares at the enemy caster with his chanting and his fruit tarts and tries to play a joke on him of her own design. As she raises her claws up with paws outspread, from the shadows on the floors and furniture between them arise strands of shadowstuff, loose at first but quickly growing taut between her claws and the limbs of the spellcaster. She whispers, "Dance" as the strands pull taut and she begins to waggle her fingers like she's controlling a marionette. After a short dance, she throws her arms to the left to pull him off balance, and it becomes clear that the strands are attached not to the man but to the spooky skeleton hiding inside of him. As Rinika gestures, the skeleton violently attempts to remove itself from his body.

Casting Boneshaker, dealing 8d6 damage and moving him 5ft to the north. Fort DC16 to halve the damage and negate the movement.

Feet touching the table as he wipes his eyes, he looks over at the prone bodies, all signs of levity replaced with malice as he looks over the enemies, fallen and surrendered. "Now where's the fool who cast a spell on me." he growls, an obsidian blade forming in his hand, but not the typical straight and sharp blade he prefers, this one is all crooked spiky bits and serrated edges, "I'm going to rip his spine out and feed it to him, or maybe beat him to death with one of his arms, I saw a tannar'ri do that this one time.. "

His tirade is interrupted as he notices the clown and fairy show going on and turns to watch, revenge forgotten by the spectacle and realization of the part his was playing finally working it way into his thick skull, he simply shows his biggest, most tooth filled smile.

Baraxx squints at the small clown maid outfit before nodding, ”I do, could go without the hair and the nose but I guess that’s the point.”

At the mention of drinks for not killing more people, well, any people he sighs. ”Aw, but I didn’t even get to kill anyone. On the other hand, I am thirsty..” he growls, glancing longingly at the surrendered enemies, blades flashing in and out of his hand for a few moments before he sighs dramatically and clumps over to a stool by the bar, slapping his hand on the bar and growling ”whiskey.”

With his high constitution and good fort save I imagine Baraxx can really put away the booze if he wants to

After having a few drinks on your fallen foe's tab and a necromantic ritual or two the bartender kicks you out back into the wind.

The Ingress

Finally, in a side cave off a particularly windy passage, you spot something that might indicate you've arrived. A great beast, bloated and grotesque, rests its bulk here. The thing is so fat that you wonder if it could move at all. Pinkish gray skin covers the creature, with no sign of hair. A single obese, practically atrophied limb is visible, the other perhaps hidden under the voluminous layers of the beast's folded flesh. A tiny head looks your way, and the creature seems to beckon you into the cave.

When you enter bloblike creature uses its visible arm to lift up great folds of hanging flesh and from underneath squirm dozens of tiny humanoids. They don't speak but scamper right up to you. Each is only 3 to 4 feet tall, spindly thin, and hairless, with the same skin color and wide eyes as the larger creature. They all make hand motions towards their mouths and begin grabbing at your packs or wherever else you might be storing food.
