We have a very interesting group of player characters so far... Marduk and Kali just need champions and we are off to the races lol...

Feel free to start posting in gameplay as your Pcs awaken in the Courtyard in a bedchamber of a palace, each PC in their own palace...

There seem to be two kinds of players applying.

Also, I will definitely be able to craft for people. It'll use up a bunch of my feats, but having a few extra gp might make a difference in the end.

EDIT: Is anyone else reading along with the Gameplay updates? I find it amusing how the goddess of Mercy chose Essel, but I guess it makes sense.

Lol yes... she doesn't mind toying with an evil b*&#* like Essel so much lol... maybe she can even convert her to goodness over time, but not likely in this Machiavellian campaign lol...

We have plenty of magic... y'all might be able to cheat and figure out the right combination of spells to bring down the prismatic sphere early lol...

Then it'd be musical chairs with only 1 chair lol

I mean, the way I read it, it sounded like the Sphere couldn’t be dispelled until the game drew to a close, and presumably has various anti-teleportation wards, to prevent the game from ending immediately.

You are correct about the anti teleportation wards. But finding out the proper combination of spells and having the power to cast those spells might not be as quick and easy as it at first sounds. Of course, to prevent a premature end to the Game, I could have the gods add extra precautions...

Oh I’m sure that the gods will make the rules work in a way for their game to be fun.

Also I’m loving the gods! Especially Thor :D

I have a special love of Thor too lol... he's one of my personal patron deities in RL. I pray to Thor for courage and when I need strength to deal with people's BS. Jesus for healing and forgiveness, Thor for kicking ass lol. And St Michael the Archangel.

That’s pretty much what happened when Christianity was introduced to the Vikings. Took awhile for the old religion to fully fade away.

I’m also a fan of this Viking poem of Jesus

“The Chieftain of mankind is born in David's hill-fort.
• The three foreign warriors present their gifts to the Ruler's Child.
• John announces Christ's coming to Middlegard.
• Christ the Chieftain is immersed in the Jordan by His loyal thane John.
• The Champion of mankind fights off the loathsome enemy.
• Christ, the mighty Chieftain, chooses His first warrior-companions.
• The mighty Rescuer calls twelve to be His men.”

Love it. I'm a Viking and a Celt by birth, and was raised Catholic, but now I'm kind of an agnostic pantheist Taoist Christian wizard if that makes any sense lol.

Scarab Sages

While I was reading up on Bast lore, I learned that there are two forms of the goddess, an earlier, more warlike, lion headed form, and a later, more gentle, house cat headed form. Which one is my patron?

Both. She has both aspects. And Ealsealf doesn't necessarily have to worship Bast, unless you like the idea. Bast chose them, but they can worship whomever seems appropriate, or no deity if they prefer. Fey in my world often give fealty to Titania and Oberon (queen and king of fairies) or one of the Norse or Celtic gods.

I wasn't going to worship her, just reading up on lore :P

Probably got lost in here somewhere but i'm still wondering if we are using traits.

@Michael Johnson 66: Rules question, Divine Herbalist makes Profession (Herbalist) a Cha based skill instead of a Wis based one. The Wasted Oracle's curse says I get a -4 on all Cha based skill checks (except intimidate). So according to the RAW, I would get a -4 on all profession (Herbalist) checks. I was wondering if you could make an exception in this case? If not that's fine too.

No exceptions from RAW, sorry.

In less than 24 hours, I will fill the last two spots with NPCs unless we get some good last minute submissions.
