What level is it likely to get to?
Also impactful for me. Been wanting to do a heavy hitter and the mammoth rider presteige class seems like fun, so been wanting to do a Bloodrager (bloodrider) 10/Mammoth Rider X, but if we don't see the game getting into the 11+ area then that build idea is capput and will probably go with some other heavy hitter.

16RP Dwarven Oread for you’re review
First of all Oreads are 6RP. I replaced SLA with Stability. Both 1 RP, but feels more *dwarven* with that
I’ll be taking Granite Skin and Stone in the Blood alternative race traits. While technically free, race build says it is worth +3 race points. So it becomes 9 total. Get 7 to play with.
So get to add 7
+4 Race Points for Advanced Stats “Pick either mental or physical ability scores. Members of this race gain a +2 bonus to all of those scores, a +4 bonus to one score of the other type, and a –2 penalty to one other ability score of the other type.”
So +4 Int -2 Cha, +2 Str/Dex/Con
+2 Static Bonus Feat: Dwarf Blooded (Your dwarven heritage manifests in two ways. First, your speed is never modified by armor or encumbrance, as the dwarf slow and steady racial trait. Second, you gain the stonecunning dwarf racial trait.)
This technically could have been gotten with 1RP, but I think it works out fairly at 2. Especially with the advanced stats.
1 RP: Dual Minded +2 Will
I couldn’t afford Hardy because of the static feat and giving myself 2 less race points for the alternatives. The +2 Will represents that instead.
——-
And there we go. A 16RP Dwarven Oread. I’ll make the Occultist Mechanics soon, so long as this meets you’re approval

Grumbaki says: Thanks!
And Sven is here! Dwarven Oread Occultist. A full BaB melee fighter who will eventually have the tools needed to not get wrecked by casters.
Sven looks great, man. Hopefully we will get some more interest here soon and get six good submissions. Once we have a party of 6, we can start playing.

Btw...what are everyone’s thoughts on Automatic Bonus Progression? With PvP in the end I’d hate for there to be fights over loot. ABP ensures everyone gets the essentials, and the items we find would just be flavorful.
Also feat tax rules and background skills? Especially background skills. Would love to have profession mason as a Dwarven Oread.

I wouldn’t mind ABP it makes loot a lot more personal and competeitive but the only thing about ABP is it favors casters over martials with the first star bump to mental physical, though Allowing it to go anywhere fixed that.
And background skills are always something I support.
Also DM since I’m thinking of a cleric how would that work with these gods? Would it be a simple reskin of similar gods or a whole new domain and dogma?

Ideally, if you are playing a cleric, you choose one of the six deities playing the Game of Mortals. Thor, Kali, Marduk, Hades, Kwan Yin, or Bast.
These deities have specific domains, which I would allow player input to codify.

I think some fun can be had from occasionally struggling without the "essentials" and valuing the magic items that you find, which will be rare compared to my typical campaigns.
Background skills, yes.

Ok sounds good just one last question is there an alignment restriction? And I would probably do a cleric of Hades, and I’m not sure exactly what the domains would be.
Hades is the Lawful Evil greater god of death and the Underworld.
I will allow a lot of freedom in choosing domains. Obviously Evil, Death, and Earth would be appropriate, but you could be a member of an obscure cult or sect or order with specific domains if you can justify them with a myth about Hades.

Okay, still working on stats, but here is an initial backstory and proposed Prime Human racial stats. The idea behind Prime Humans is that they've been invested in by a higher power, giving them additional power and survivability in return for them being unable to learn new skills as easily.
Essel Theana was born into poverty, but not to that name, a girl with a keen mind, ebon-black hair, piercing blue eyes, and a deep, craving desire to improve her lot in life. As soon as she was aware enough to comprehend the nature of her condition, begging on the streets, was undignified, she immediately sought to improve herself and her standing in life. Her first step in this direction was when she ran away from home, a nothing town somewhere in the wilderness, and stowed away in a trader's caravan to a larger city. There, while hardly better off, saw much more potential, and, a natural athlete, quickly rose to be, even at the age of 8, the leader of one of the child gangs in the city, establishing her territory and status as 'the Raven Queen.' As the Queen, she carried herself with grace and poise, insisting that she and her lieutenants were spotless. She was quite efficient, and ruthless with her subjects, and from the ages of 8-12, proved to be an adept crime lord, even ruling boys years older than her. But, she still strove for greatness, not content to be a queen of scraps. She saw the kind of powers that the clerics had, and realized that magic was the way to true power. However, with nobody to teach her, she had to turn to more… unsavory tactics.
Ultimately, Essel pledged her body, along with the souls of several of her gang, to a mysterious patron in exchange for mentorship in the arcane arts, and the girl who used to be able to engage in fistfights with boys twice her age found her strength sucked away. In return, though, she transcended mere humanity, and her mind sharpened to truly superhuman levels as she gained the power to curse her foes, crippling them in body and mind.
With her new magical abilities, Essel was still not satisfied, and demonstrated her capabilities to gain admittance to a wizard's college. She has no intention of slowing down, though, and while she finally has enough money to actually look decent, nothing less than complete and total arcane power will satisfy her. As a result, she routinely looks for ways to break the normal laws of magic, something she routinely succeeds on.
Type Humanoid (human) 0 RP
Size Medium 0 RP
Base Speed Normal 0 RP
Ability Score Modifiers Human 0 RP
Languages Linguist 1 RP
Racial Traits
Ability Racial Traits
• Advanced Intelligence 4 RP
Defensive Racial Traits
• Lucky, lesser 2 RP
Feat and Skill Racial Traits
• Flexible bonus feat 4 RP
• Static Bonus Feat (toughness) 2 RP
Magic Racial Traits
• Spell-like ability, lesser (mage armor) 1 RP
• Spell-like ability, lesser (resist energy) 2 RP
Prime Humans are humans that are fully human, but then 'a bit more.' They have even keener minds than normal humans (though many Primes have different ability scores boosted), and have the abilities needed to survive in a tough world, a bit more resilient and healthy than others and capable of channeling a spark of magic to protect themselves from attacks both physical and magical. However, they are less capable of picking up new skills than their peers.
In this case, while not born a Prime Human, Essel became one in the creation of her Pact, a common occurrence as Patrons make the best parts of their mortals better, and have an interest in maintaining the well-being of their investments.
Essentially, it's a normal human (9 RP), but with an Advanced ability score (4 RP) instead of the Skilled ability (4 RP , the Lesser Lucky ability (2 RP), the Toughness feat as a bonus (2 RP) and a lesser spell-like ability, usually a defensive level 1 spell (1 RP), along with a single level 2 spell (2 RP) for a total of 16 RP.

Okay, other than picking out spells for my spellbook, and perhaps a bit more gear, Essel Theana is ready. It's kind of fun, playing into all the ultimate power-hungry tropes for wizards.

Mythicman19 |

A majority of the ideas are done just need to put it all in the on the alias but here is where I'm at with a backstory and a race.
Outsider 3
See in darkness 4
Advanced stats 4
Prehensile tail 2
Greater spell resistance 3

Really like what I’m seeing here!
Btw, I switched Blood in the Stone (3 RP) for Acid Resistance 5 (1 RP) And Stone Seer: Members of this race add +1 to the caster level of any spells with the earth descriptor they cast. Members of this race also gain the following spell-like abilities (the caster level is equal to the user’s character level):
Constant—nondetection;
1/day—magic stone, stone shape, stone tell (2 RP).
The Stone magic just fits an Oread too well. :)
Venture-Captain Krensharr,
I write to you in the hopes of recommending one Sven Shieldbearer to you. I had the pleasure of receiving his aid while making an expedition into the underdark. While near the surface, so to speak, we were exploring what were believed to be ancient dwarven ruins, abandoned before the Quest for Sky. Reports led us to believe that the ruins were uninhabited due to seismic shifts in the earth that had buried most of the city. In this, we were wrong. I accept blame in our mistake in trusting our 'guide', who turned out to be a disguised Deurgar. The gray dwarf led us straight into one of the warrens of its people. One by one we went missing, until an ambush was sprung upon the entire expedition. By the grace of some benevolent deity, I was able to flee by the aid of my magical abilities. But while I lost my pursuers, I found myself hopelessly lost. My corpse would still molder beneath the ground were it not for a chance encounter with Sven. At first I believed him to be but a statue, given his appearance. Or worse, another disguised Duergar, come to take me into slavery. But given my half-starved state, there was little I could have done should his intentions have been ill. Rather, he guided me back to the his clanhold and the surface that beckoned beyond. During this trek, I was able to gain a measure of the Oread. He is honorable in his dealings, surprisingly pleasant of nature for one of the earth-folk, and possessed of surprising magical ability. For when forced to fight through a group of troglodytes, the runes on his spiked shield began to glow. I am not familiar with the nature of the magic, but it reinforced his weapon into being as powerful as a greatsword. I was intrigued by this dwarf, and once I recovered I cajoled him about the benefits of joining the pathfinders. His talents, thus far, are unrefined, but with proper field experience I believe that he has the talent to become a valuable member of our organization. I ask you, from one pathfinder to another, to take him under your wing lest this talent be wasted in something as mundane as digging holes far under the ground.
Signed you’re friend,
Eldrash of Taldor
”Ye be askin' who I be? Well, sounds right fair enough. Seein' as how ye told me about yerself. Without me asking I must say. But ye be buying so fook it. The name's Sven. The shieldbearer. Don't let the name fool ye, I'm an alright sort, if I do say so myself. An' I do. I'm a miner by trade, though I've been known to dabble in some smithin here and there, an' I sell what I dig from the earth. Now, yer probably, what the bloody fook! It’s a talkin’ statue! Well fook ye, that’s rude. Ha! Well, I’m an Oread. Guess someone way back fooked an earth elemental or something. ‘Cause here I am! What? Ye wanted a better story? Well what did ye expect? Anyways. Ma and Pa be Priests of Thor. Good trade. Not for me. I like it in the mines. Nay anyone stares. Feels right with the Stone.”
”The runes? Well, ye see, minin' is dangerous work, if ye look for yer own finds. I've been known to go far beyond what me clan calls its territory in search of wealth. Earned me name by putting me shield to good use on the beasties that dwell in the dark. Aye, me shield. See, got meself a spike on this fist here, and on me shield. Down in the dark nay much room to swing an axe. But I can punch a goblin right good or put me shield into a drow’s dangly bits. Ha! Oh, the runes? Aye. For ye see, I follow the old ways. The ways o' rune bindin'. Was told long ago that I've got that magic talent, ye ken? But I'm nay some finger wagglin', dress wearin' elfling. Nay, magic is far too dangerous to let it fly about, all willy-nilly! Ye have to take it, an' bind it. Put it in runes. Trap it, an' release it only when the time be right. Safer that way. For ye, an' all around ye. An' I'm good at it too, though I know that I risk bein' seen as arrogant when I say so. Quite good at bindin' magic in me shield. Able to do quite a few other useful tricks as well, when I put me mind to it. Oi. Drink is empty. Now then, what do ye really want? Know ye aren’t buying drinks for me health....”

Seriously. And honestly, how often do we get to customize races?
I’d be alright going with 3 if that’s what we have.
three would make for a very interesting endgame. And customizing races was very interesting, i've never had a chance so I had to learn the options and what not for it.

These Gathlain have normal Gathlain stats, with these changes:
All Mutated Gathlain have the Symbiotic Imbalance alternate racial trait.
Base speed increased by 10 ft. (to 30 ft.), for one RP.
They also gain Greater Spell Resistance (Members of this race gain spell resistance equal to 11 + their character level.), for 3 RP
The speed stuff gets confusing so here's their speed: 30 ft. (Base land) and 40 ft. (Average maneuverability)(fly)
Total RP= 12 (base) +1 (speed increase) +3 (SR) = 16 RP

Steffanio |

Sorry these aren't in the same post, I have never written a backstory for a Gathlain before, so it took a minute. Should have the character done by tonight.

CG Dwarven Oread Occultist
CG Gathlain Oracle
LE Human Wizard
LE Tiefling Cleric
There seem to be two kinds of players applying.
Also, I will definitely be able to craft for people. It'll use up a bunch of my feats, but having a few extra gp might make a difference in the end.
EDIT: Is anyone else reading along with the Gameplay updates? I find it amusing how the goddess of Mercy chose Essel, but I guess it makes sense.
