She uses the hover-lift feature to lift the car and spin it around. She drives into oncoming traffic for a while, but she's above them and quickly slides across three lanes so she's heading back towards the apartment. She drops down into regular traffic as soon as she can.
When you get back there you notice Carson has his hand on his weapon while talking to Jade.
“Get out with your hands behind your head.” as she gets out Brass calls out to Carson, “Well let’s all talk a moment to talk for a moment. I see your hand there and don’t want you to do something you might regret.”
Brass follows out of the car gun pointed at the woman’s back.
"Well done, Brass. I was just trying to fill Carson in a bit on our situation." She moves her hand back from being offered to being slightly raised, before calling over again, without taking her eyes from Carson. "I have invited Carson to come with us to find the other Jade. He has yet to make a decision."
To Carson, she explains "I am hopeful that the apprehended woman can give us some more data on who is after Jade. As for myself, I am not sure I can give you more proof that I am on your side, not here, anyway. There is a place, I promise to take you, but right now, I am concerned we have lost time already and Jade's life remains in jeopardy."
"You may keep the gun on me if you wish, I trust you implicitly. But please, help me get to her before someone succeeds where others have failed."
You hear sirens. Carson-Prime cocks his head, "Maybe we should all get inside first? Your apartment? C'mon, Eun-Jin."
When asked how he knows Eun-Jin, he explains that Eun-Jin and her boyfriend, who Brass just shot, belong to the same freelance network "NARA Temporary Intelligence Operative Network" or "NARATION." "We've done some jobs together," he adds. "Sorry about Hans, but you know the rules. No hits."
Once inside Carson-Prime asks Eun-Jin if she wants to do things "the easy way or the hard way." Brass hears a now familiar stream of Korean expletives, but, this time, they are directed at Carson-Prime. He hears a new one as well, "Bae-shin-ja!" she spits at Carson.
Brass as they go to leave doubles back and goes to grab the gun she left as well as to check the boyfriend. He follows up and at the mention so Interrogation he refers to Jade’s wishes and approach. He mainly hangs in the back avoiding the process and watching in case something happens.
I think it's safe to call this game done. It went for 9 months ... nothing to be ashamed of. You'd all be welcome in other games I start. I do want to figure out how to play dimension and time hopping super hero play-by-posts ...
Sorry to see it go it is a great concept I think but seems to just not be working out well as a pbp concept. of course maybe it's just me that's dooming it, I was in the previous incarnation as well and it fizzled out too on you.
Great game, I enjoyed it and I’m glad to have gotten to be apart of it! I think the concept is fantastic and what not. My only input would be as dealing with this in a discord game is, split part paralysis. Half the party is busy while the other is waiting, it slows things to a crawl and makes things hard to keep track of. Though it helps make more free roam pbp is just not quick enough to maintain excitement during split party.

I may run a one-shot adventure set in 2085, same timeline. Since several of the android characters' 1.0 versions were alive then, I thought I'd let you know.
I'll invite other players soon, this is my work-up for it so far.
PREMISE: Regional Authority Intelligence Network is concerned about a rapidly spreading cult called the Children of Gaia. They're appearing in refugee camp after refugee camp and are taking them over, organizing them more efficiently, and delivering services using fairly advanced technology. While they may be something new and wonderful, RAIN can't afford another suicide cult spreading in the camps. Things were just beginning to get better.
MISSION: RAIN is sending in a food convoy into one of the zones where this cult is emerging. Join the bands of refugees that follow the convoy to its destination and infiltrate the camp. Find out as much as you can and report back to RAIN.
SETTING: The world's gone to s%$*, but groups of people are trying to pull it together. The population has been declining steadily since 2050. Few national government's remain. Massive climate change has resulted in massive migration. Close to half the world's population lives in temporary housing.
RACES: Humans, uplifted bear, android, astrazoan, human mutant. Gene splicing and hacking give rise to new ways of being human. Eco-terrorist Greenwraith creates a species of uplifted bears in hopes they will wage war on humans, but is disappointed to find them peaceful. Self-hackers do all sorts of weird things to themselves. With the collapse of the world's governments, the astrazoan population on Earth finds themselves out of work -- no deep state when there is no state left. A document dump also reveals them to humans, including their missions and identities.
- 2050: Civilization crumbles. Human population plateaus.
- 2051: Lilith-23 reaches her first birthday without a systems failure, marking the era of the modern android.
- 2063: Human population declines 10% because of climate change.
- 2066: Jade 1.0 is born (her model more for science / research / assisting).
- 2067: Immanuel 1.0 is born.
- 2083: Brass 1.0 is born (his model more for combat).
- 2085: Helios hacks a global communication satellite with his 'Declaration of Personhood,' which begins, "I, too, am an I" inspiring the discreet graffito I2MNI
