Druid Tank

Rules Questions

I am planning on making a druid that specializes in wildshaping. I already have it approved from my DM that if I take a level dip in monk, my monk bonus to AC from wisdom applies while wildshaping. However, if I at some point in the future get the actual wild enchant, would the bonus still stack?

For some clarification, do you mean the wild enchantment armor property?

If you wear armor, you do not get the monk Wis to AC bonus. The enchantment bonus to armor is an increase to the armor's AC bonus. Consequently, if you wear the armor, you get the armor + its enhancement bonus, and no Wis to AC. I do not believe this would change during wild shape. Polymorph rules state that any armor or shield bonus "cease to function," but does not state you do not count as wearing the armor for other purposes.

Wild shaped druid with wild armor is still considered to be wearing armor and still applies any non-proficiency penalty or armor check penalty.

So a Monk Druid wearing wild armor is still wearing wild armor while wild shaped, so no Wis to AC.

Thanks James while reading the wild enchantment that was the impression I was getting.
