"Let's make haste, slowly."
”’Make haste, slowly’? That’s Shaka Confusing! Are we going forward or not? Move up or don’t...do something,” Vanyan notes until they start to move up.
He follows, staff in hand.
Aishe Danior
"Alarm. Missed that." Aishe grunts as he eases the doors open. Putting away his tools and picking up his loaded crossbow, he follows the others up the stairs into danger.
At the next set of doors, he again checks for traps and locks and disarms/opens as needed. Or not as needed.

Aishe grabs ahold of Atium's cloak and yanks him backwards, just as he was about to step on a pressure plate. Kneeling down Aishe sees a very faded chalk square that is likely the outline of the plate. This helps guide the group around the trap where Aishe is able to unlock the second set of doors without further issue.
Priests welcomed guests to the temple in this T-shaped hall, presenting visitors with holy symbols of Arazni to wear within the temple. A small altar stands in an alcove to the west, and an enormous crystalline statue sits within
an alcove at the center of the south wall. The statue is 10 feet tall and roughly resembles an armored human woman, but its detail is rather rudimentary, as if its artisan failed to finish the work.
Mahogany double doors lead north.
Vinas uth Antimanes
"Agreed Atium." Vinas nods and dips his shield to Tess, [b]"Not just doors. That statue and the altar both should get a good look over.
Not being skilled in such matters, Vinas approaches and looks around (including with an eye towards evil.) Perception: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (4) + 19 = 23

Vanyan follows along, examining the door and area for more traps.

Then he moves back.
Atium of Varg
Someday there's gonna be a place where others are going to walk in and see tons of statues of Vinas. He's got the jaw for a statue, but more importantly the sword arm. Art-people make statues of warriors that do great things.
Atium observes. The Red Crusader really must have cleaned some Whispering Tyrant clock. Vinas is half way there already.
Aishe Danior
Aishe smiles as he finds the trap meant to harm them. Bypassing it, and opening the door, he hangs back, collecting his tools, before rejoining the others in the next room. Seeing another door, he repeats his process, checking for traps before unlocking the door as needed.

Vinas uth Antimanes
"Thanks Atium. One can only hope, though truth be told, if it comes down to it, I'd rather people ask why I don't have one than why I do..."

Tessenarin and Vanyan recognize this creature as a Crystal Golem. Crystal golems cannot speak, instead emitting a constant hum of psychic energy. A crystal golem is 10 feet tall and weighs 1,800 pounds. Resistance to most weapons unless it is adamantine. Immune to nearly all spells and its psychic magic causes ones head to fill with enough pressure to literally explode, killing the individual.
Tessenarin's arrow bounces harmlessly off of the crystal form. The golem turns and swings it's hardened fists at Vinas.

1) Keep Watch
Aishe stumbles into consciousness, and awakens to see Vanyan standing over him. Everything hurts, but not quite as badly as he though it would. He can move. He coughs, ”Did we win? I died. I saw Jando. He looked well... considering.” and raises his head to look around. He thanks Vanyan and Tessenarin, ”Thanks gentlemen.”
Unwilling to stand (as it provokes) or even grab his beloved crossbow (also would provoke), he lies there a moment hoping the others can handle the monster while he has a little rest. Shrugging, knowing that’s not good enough, he draws his morning star (move) and swings it once at the creature (standard). (Still wearing the Golembane Scarab if it helps at all.)
Morning Star: 1d20 + 9 - 3 ⇒ (12) + 9 - 3 = 18 (bless, prone) damage: 1d8 + 0 ⇒ (7) + 0 = 7
