The circular pyre explodes upward into the sky like a cart full of Desnan candles. Music blares from all around. And the crowd goes wild!

And out through the top of the bonfire of smoke and fireworks fly two familiar seeming Erinyes devils a tall laughing raven-haired and feathered brunette and a short feisty-seeming blonde.

"Well, well." says the blonde in a darkly anticipatory tone.

"It's so funny to see you here again." says the brunette with a genuine smile as she passes above.

Now the crowd goes really wild, as the two fallen angels skate above the fire in a wide pre-victory lap around the stands. Where they soak up the crowd's cheers.

"You haven't done anything foolish have you?" asks Zarta into Jair's ear when Jair can hear again.

Good Hope Each affected creature gains a +2 morale bonus on saving throws, attack rolls, ability checks, skill checks, and weapon damage rolls.

I should note that those of you who may have sold all of your hope previously in this adventure can still be magically infused with the semblance of the emotion.


Leona grimaces at the sight of the two angels, not particularly excited to tangle with them. Still, they had hope - two was decidedly less than four or five, which is closer to the number she'd expected to encounter.

Still, they were quite literally in Hell and while she had several useful spells, the ability to fly wasn't among them. She briefly considers her allies before reaching out to touch all of her allies - and herself - with a bit of haste.

Casting haste! c: +1 to attack rolls and a +1 bonus to AC and Reflex saves! All modes of movement increase by 30 feet to a maximum of twice your normal speed with that mode of movement!

I think we have doubled up on haste from Chandu and Leona. Looks like a scroll of fly in her inventory. Lightning bolt could be good since haste is up..

The caster would have to be able to target it somehow (see invisibility, a pillow case, flour, etc...).

Don't forget, your buddy, Veshtahz (who has a map token now) has knowledge (planes)--and fewer penalties--too. If it survives this fight you might consider giving it its own character page as a reward. ;)

And I need a caster level check for your magic missiles.

Add a mark to the map (a small text box, or a shape) and us know if it is elevated (since they can fly). You will need to open the map in Google Slides (free app). If you are on a phone make sure you open it with the Slides app. Most phones will allow you to open it in your browser which limits the map's functionality. I use Firefox on my phone so when I go to open a map link rather then just tapping it, I have hold down until it gives me a menu that I can scroll down on and pick "open with app". If you have one, a desktop/laptop computer works best.

Having nothing to contribute past what their newest acquisition has to share, Leona focuses on the fight. If their enemies were resistant to spells and weapons that didn't have the good alignment, her party was going to be in for a rough ride. This might well be a fight of attrition if they did things properly... At least, unless one of her comrades had something else to pull out for the fight!

If you are actually within range, sure. Remember though that all upward diagonals cost 10' of move, rather than alternating 5' and 10'.

The mental line to Zarta cuts out completely. In fact it seems like all sound cuts out. The party looks up and the entire audience is all stone still. Jair can hear the fire in the center of the arena, and the flow of the river, but the audience has gone as silent as stone. And they all seem to be staring at her and Shrec.... The two devils seem to ignore the succubus in their midst. They seem as stunned by the holy sword as anyone in the diabolic audience.

So the brunette, Euryale, who said "That looks like it tickles." The magical darts connect with the tall erinyes to some effect shaking her from her dumb-struck staring.

And then Lasaraleen, holy symbol aloft channels the power of Sarenrae. Her loud cry calling upon the Dawnflower sounds tinny somehow, off-key and outlandish given the sudden silence. Everyone seems to be looking at her.

I hate auto-incorrect. I think you are going to end up about 20' from your target (the brunette erinyes who is 100' up) rather than the illusion of the succubus who is hovering at an altitude of 40'.
