Angela, having stayed back and taken an observer role with extensive notes and only a word of advice here or there, gives a small sigh as everyone seems to focus on the big bad scary wolf and druid and ignores the giant pulsing seed pod.

She glances over at Kahwen as he takes a giant slice out of the wolf and gives a small dreamy sigh, before shaking her head. She had work to do. "You guys were doing so well on your own, but I guess I have to drop the role of impartial observer and make sure that we can clear the blight out of this area." Droping her pack she grabs her longspear as she strides forwards to the base of the log and readies her self to dance across it.

Not at all, just putting some dialogue into the post and setting up a reason for why she can't show good places to slam the bud in case she rolled too low. As for identifying:

It's just hardness I'm afraid, so unless Rocky's packing adamantine, the progress will be slowed. Also, the assassin vine would have to take a save if it ended its turn next to the pit, but not just for being adjacent when the pit first appears iirc.

Despite not discovering any weakness, however, Angela does notice that as the elemental pounds at the husk of the Blight Pod, it begins to pulse more strongly with an unhealthy looking light. She thinks that when this thing is destroyed, it's likely to explode!

With a cry of guttural surprise, the hulking druid falls into the pit, and Malvic is able to keep ahead of the murderous plant's grasp. However, despite avoiding the sweep of its powerful vines, the nearest Pathfinders to the powerful plant find that its lesser brethren are snaking up from the marsh around them to trap and tangle them!

Yes Angela will retroactively aid! but first take a strike of her own.

Angela takes a second to take aim at the main vine of the pod and pokes out with her longspear. "I'm going to take a small swipe at the thing myself! Hopefully, I can hurt it..."

She then glances over to confirm that Mr. Stone was able to get the jist of what she said, and takes a sec to point out a few other places to pound on, before quickly stepping back. "This vein in particular looks like it'd be great to slam down upon! Or maybe here instead? But hold on, let me get some space from here unless you get it splattered all over me."

Umberto opens his eyes and immediately calls on the Lucky Drunk for some support. Don't leave me hanging here, Cayden. You test me so.

Umberto isn't quite ready to stand up, given the circumstances. Can I ready an action to stand and don a shield if the plant monster moves or dies?

Haska compares the earth elemental's slams and his puny rapier.

Haska pulls a bomb from is pouch and jams something into it and in one continuous motion flings it at the pod but at the same time putting a lateral spin on it.

That'll work. Technically Drawing a weapon/Readying a Shield can't be combined with standing up, but you can Ready the Shield as a move, and then Ready an Action to stand, so it all works out in the end.

I'm assuming Umberto's not threatening the plant thing so I'm doing all this without taking flanking into account.

Kahwen steps to the side carefully so that he and Umberto will have the plant in the perfect position when Umberto is able to get back to his feet.

For the moment, he attacks again, continuing to be careful not to be too aggressive and leave himself exposed. He's feeling more than a bit woozy, after all.

An onsen town? Wow, where'd you go?

Angela gives the seed pod a good look and decides that she's probably going to be unable to do much damage to it. instead she focuses on helping Rocky and Haska.

She points out some good places to slam the pod. "It's probably nbest that you just go straight for the pod!"
Aid another (move action): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Angela can aid another as a move action, but could she still spend her standard to aid as well?

Angela then analyzes Haska's throwing patter adding, "Haska, your bombs are angled about 12 degrees too low for the amount of lateral spin you are putting on them. Aim just a 'smidge' higher."

Aid another (stadard?): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
If she can't angela will prepare to jump away if Rocky cracks the pod.
