Howdy! I’m excited to be here!
I have a couple characters I can play, depending on sub-tier. This is my high tier mechanic. I also have a lower tier operative and mystic.

![]() |

*Sing song*
Wuv, Tru wuv, is what bwings up together here today!
To problem with that here! If anything, less likely that we'll get TPK'ed. ;)
1) Player Name: Matthais777
2) Character Name: Gear2.0
3) Character number: 176948-701
4) Faction: Dataphile
5) Day Job roll: Chemist: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27
6) Anything unusual I should know about your character:

![]() |

I also have a few choices! At high tier, I also have a mechanic. At low tier, I have a technomancer or a solarian.
Disclosure to the other players: the GM and I are married. We GM for each other a lot locally and there's no favoritism, but if anyone is concerned about that, I can step aside.)
You would have to bring a 3 to bring it down to 4.5. If the majority would vote up on a 4.5 anyhow, probably safer for me to have more higher level people to hide behind.
I'd be more comfortable at low subtier--being a measley 3--but I may not have that luxury.

![]() |

Well, my Level 3 operative is currently unconscious from a certain something in a game of Kate's Sanctuary of Drowned Delight scenario. Thanks for that one! ;) So that PC may no longer be available for this game. We'll have to see!!!
My mystic and mechanic are mechanically similar to the other mystic and mechanic we have, so I'll probably play the operative. If possible.

1) Player Name: Chris Wasko
2) Character Name: Id-Sinitis ("Id")
3) Character number: 125136-702
4) Faction: Wayfinders
5) Character level: 6
6) Day Job roll: Profession (dockworker): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
7) Anything unusual I should know about your character: nothing not indicated on his sheets, I don't think.

![]() |

1) Player Name: Doug Edwards
2) Character Name: Wheeler
3) Character number: 133118-701
4) Faction: Second Seekers (Luwazi Elsebo)
5) Day Job roll: Day Job Corporate Recruiter: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21
Wheeler is level 5 these days so I need to update this profile but he is going to be Envoy 4/Soldier 1
The big thing to be aware of is he is going to almost constantly be using Clever Attack which will cause whoever he shoots to either Flat Footed to just me or to everyone.

![]() |

Thanks. I have an envoy in my home Dead Suns game that also uses that constantly, so I'm familiar with it.

![]() |

Wheeler is now up to date - he has 2 higher in his Corporate Recruiter skill too so hes up to 23 on that Day Job

![]() |

So, we have:
Envoy 5
Mystic 6
Mechanic 6
Mystic 3
I have a mechanic 5 or a operative 3. Who didn't die of poison! Kate and Mordin, do you care what tier we end up at?

![]() |

Well, being a level 3 in a 6-player subtier 5-6 definitely has me concerned.
Concerned enough to wonder if I'll even be able to contribute to skill checks, make saves, survive traps (or at least not suck up a ton of resources recovering), and not be 2-shotted (all full attacks will automatically hit Mordin).
But I understand and respect that the players of the higher level characters may not want the pay cut, lower level rewards, or an easier time.
It is ultimately up to me whether to accept the risk or not, whichever way the table goes, so my Organized Play mantra applies: play what will make you happy.

![]() |

Still Ewok/Piggy
Yeah, I'm leaning towards bringing this character. If Kate and I both went high tier we'd have three mechanics and two mystics. Not the most well rounded party!

![]() |

Its been the nature of Starfinder that I have only exceedingly rarely gotten to collect full rewards in games I haven't run.
But I am also not really willing to switch to my level 3 solarion so I'll deal with it.

![]() |

I don't think 3 mechanics is the worst thing in the world, especially if they're different types of builds. Play whoever you'd like.

![]() |

Sounds great! I will update my sheet tomorrow and make sure I didn’t level up after that last game. I’m looking forward to it!

![]() |

And I'm all set!
1) Player Name: Kate Baker
2) Character Name: Trylara
3) Character number: 215650-701
4) Faction: Second Seekers (Luwazi Elsebo)
5) Day Job roll: N/A

![]() |

1) Player Name: Tim M/Blake's Tiger
2) Character Name: Mordin Gimhargruest
3) Character number: 230524-704
4) Faction: Second Seekers (LE)
5) Character level: 3
6) Day Job roll: Profession (physician): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
7) Anything unusual I should know about your character: I'm probably going to take advantage of the Contractor's Respect boon to borrow a iLevel 4 suit of armor. Will confirm after boon slotting.

![]() |

Alright, Outpost has started! Going to give Breq and Id-Sinitis some time to introduce themselves, then I'll get this mission launched. Also, if you have not yet done so please add your Perception and Initiative modifiers to the blocks on slide 1 of the Maps & Handouts deck (linked at the top of the page and in my tagline).

![]() |

Breq, don't forget to add your perception and initiative modifiers to the slide in the map deck.

![]() |

Done!! Thanks for the reminder!

A note on that spoiler: I've recently started putting the DC for skill checks inside the outer spoiler, so that people can make decisions on things that require it without knowing whether they succeeded or failed. The intention is that you roll, decide if you're going to use any roll-altering abilities, then look inside the first spoiler to see if you were successful. The information is then within a second spoiler nested in the first one. If you don't have any roll-altering abilities then it doesn't make much difference to you.

![]() |

I like that! Cool system. The real question is... how do you get that formatting?! Whenever I try I get this:
DC 40
He says yes.
Second spoiler can't have a tag.
[+spoiler=Peeking?]
stuff
[+spoiler]delete the +'s
[+/spoiler]
[+/spoiler]

![]() |

Yeah, that's why I put the OOC label for the inner spoiler.

![]() |

Huh!
interesting.
whoa!

![]() |

I added a token for BoyToy, but if you have a different picture you'd rather use Gear, let me know.

![]() |

Sorry for the delay, unexpected family drop in visit this weekend. Will post tomorrow.

![]() |

Do any of you have the Abysshead Download boon from SFS #1-06 A Night in Nightarch on this character?

![]() |

I have the Chronicle, but the GM crossed out that boon.

![]() |

You mean your party didn’t go around downloading random files without scanning them for viruses? Weird.

![]() |

Not on this character...

![]() |

Sorry for the slowdown folks. In retrospect, I should have asked about that boon at the start of the scenario. Lesson learned for next time.
