Reynold Malkin |
Reynold looks to his comrades. ”Do we need to check the hallway, or can we grab everything in this room and split? Looks like we got what we came for.”
William Thomas Riker |
Will shrugs.
"It is just a corridor connecting two rooms; I mean, we can open the door and take a look, but unless we see something interesting, I think we are done."
So saying, he checks the door for traps, and if he finds none, opens it.
Unless the corridor contains something interesting, I think we are done.

Will is unable to find any traps on the door and is able to open it up.
The ceiling is 10 feet high, giving the hall the appearance of a perfectly crafted prefabricated hallway. Calm gray and blue steel panels line the outer walls, and they’re so clean that they gently reflect images of creatures passing by.

Reynold lifts one of the paintings off the wall. ”Fabulous. Let’s blow this popsicle stand before we run into any more EMP deathbots.”

You are able to leave the bunker without further issue. You meet up at the extraction point and get taken back to Absalom Station. When you go to meet with Historia-7 for debriefing and and to turn in the data, she does not come out and greet you like you have come to expect when you succeed on a mission. Not only that, the Archives’ Cortex remains sealed.
Two members of the Dataphiles faction, an affable pair of technicians, Xarafo (a female shirren) and Kaizel (a male human) wait outside. Ahh you are back! How did the mission go? Did you get the data?
Mon "Goose" Tavvi |
Goose looks around the team for reactions.
"Seems odd Historia-7 wouldn't want to greet us personally considering what we found..." Goose muses to himself.
"We are back from our mission. Historia-7 assigned us the task and we'll report to Historia-7 personally with the results. No offense, but I would rather not discuss matters out in the open here. Can we get an audience with Historia-7?" Goose offers the technicians as amicably as possible.

Kaizel rubs the back of his neck awkwardly while Xarafo shrugs and speaks. We’re not sure where she is, but she asked us to meet you. She figured you’d be tired after the mission and the flight, and she wants that data analyzed immediately.
Ak is able to attest Xarafo and Kaizel are known Dataphiles agents who work within the Lorespire Complex. They aren’t strangers, and you all have seen them before in passing.

After a bit Venture-Captain Naiaj. a female bleachling gnome, comes to greet you. You guys did wonderful today. Congratulations on a job well done! She looks at Ak, then whispers to the rest of the group, Thanks for keeping the trainee alive. She smiles at the group. The data you recovered is s being analyzed, and the Society leadership is in discussion about what you have uncovered here. It seems weird that this Venture-Captain is here giving you this information rather than Historia-7.

Assuming some one asks about Historia-7:
Naiaj seems reluctant to explain but quickly relents.
The bleachling gnome takes a slow breath before she replies. She... she’s taking some personal time. I realize this is not how we do things. I’ve only just been assigned oversight of your mission and I’m still coming up to speed. I certainly appreciate your efforts. There is another pause and then Naiaj continues. In your place, I would want to know what you went to all the trouble for. We’re going through the data and are trying to ascertain who these people are and we’re not there yet. We do, however, know some of their recent activities, thanks to you. They’ve got financial data on almost every corporation within the Pact Worlds. We think they’ve been manipulating the markets, especially with regards to pharmaceuticals. Price fixing, if you follow. It’s disturbing because they appear to be trying to fix the price of medicine, system wide. I’ve got an uneasy feeling about this, but thanks to you... we have forewarning.
Unless you have any questions.. that is a wrap. I will mark this page inactive Sunday night. Thanks for being part of this interesting story and continuing us down the story of the mysterious "Conspiracy". Hope to see you all around.
