My wife just had our third baby, a little bit ahead of schedule. my posting will be off and on for the next few weeks as i stay home and help my wife. i will still post when able, but posting consistently in multiple games takes a chunk of time, which i will not have for a little bit.
thank you for your patience! if this is a game where i am a PC please feel free to bot me. if this is one of the games i am running, thank you for your patience. feel free to fill the dead space with RP or discussion or just wait for my posts to return!

My nanny kept rows and rows of porcelain dolls in front of my crib when I was a toddler. After two years of sleep paralysis and terrifying nightmares, I became kind of immune to creepy dolls ^-^

I'll answer the questions here instead of in the gameplay thread. you have not rested long enough to recover spells. and they are both outsiders, so knowledge planes would be needed.
looking back at threads I haven't casted any spells yet. :) not at the hut or the cave.So I should still have my 4 1st level ones.
I have no magic left except my orisons, so I think I'm nearly useless :/
Question: would the northern ancestry trait reduce the cold damage inflicted by the mephit?
yes, and it was already accounted for in the stat tracker. we have 3 people with that trait, so i didn't spell it out in detail in the post, but those of you with the trait took 2 less damage

sorry about the delay all. I was having a busy week, and when i saw that Hal said he would post soon I didn't come back and check early enough. it doesn't help that I forgot that Sigrun was using a magical weapon that cut through the DR and the fight was basically over before Hal even acted. My bad

He's a friend of mine, I talked to him Friday and he said he might not be able to post till sunday. I'll hassle him again.

Ya, he was hoping to get back on again. Life is busy now for him.
If damage roll comes up less than 1, it defaults to 1 non-lethal (source) :)
I will go ahead and bot Hal for the rest of this encounter. do we want to bring on a new PC to replace him after this battle?
I mean, that would be a shame, especially since he was the only character who specialized in ranged attacks... He was fun to play with, and I'll be sad to see him go. But if he can't come back (I hope life is "good" busy), maybe we should seek another player?

I am definitely inclined to bring in a ranged charcater to replace Hal, but I'm happy to go with what you guys want. also if you know any of the submissions from other games let me know. at this point i would rather have a less than ideal character that posts regularly to keep this game from dying, so knowing about a PC's level of engagement from other games is good

Okay, his profile is now up-to-date. I've given him an Elk (megalocerous) companion, as that's the most flavorful for a divine hunter of Erastil. A bear would likely be more effective in combat, so I'm open to people's opinions there. I've also taken the Fur domain, but could easily take Animal just as well. Thoughts or opinions are welcome!

I like the flavor of having an elk for a Erastil-follower. we do also have one bear in the party already. I'm totally fine with either option as a companion

the combat has wrapped up, Eladorn this would be a good time to have your character approach the group. either come from the north having just checked out a cave there, or from the south following the tracks left by the rest of the party

ok, that makes sense. in that case they will meet you shortly. I missed the part where you were a native of Irrisen.
