Glass pounds his way up the stairs, keeping low as he reaches the upper floor, he stops with his eyeline just above the upper flooring; he takes a moment to asses his options and targets.
"Getting juicy up here. Offense looks good, let me help a bit on defense"

I think I should have line of sight to Sunset, unless she's further into the room, in which case I'll cast on whichever of Wraith or Nomad is closest
Glass's eyes glow as he looks at Sunset, then with a flash the glow jumps to surround her.

As the mayhem within continues, Road-Rage causually exits the Titan, and with a jagged smile underarms the Hi-Ex grenade under the opening garage door;

Road-rage's grenade tumbles cheerfully on the water-soaked road, as it bounces under the barely-open garage door. "Oh, dre-!", a voicce inside exclaims briefly, just before the plumes of a fireball spew onto the driveway, steam and fire coating the skies. If there was any doubt that you were still undetected, it's all out for now. As your ears adapt, you hear the blaring of a car's alarm spewing out into the streets.

As Wraith takes the hit in stride, the look on Crewcut's face is one of indeterminate anger. He stands his ground, however, though you see him casting a glance at the open door. That all takes backseat, however, to the clamoring of an explosion from a floor below you.

<Well, if the Pawns weren't on the way yet, they are now! Let's get on the move in less than 2 minutes, people!>

Nomad draws aim on CrewCut and let's him have a 3 round burst at the head.

12d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 5, 2, 6, 3, 4, 1, 4, 5, 6, 6) = 44 take aim, target vitals, 3 rd burst, wound penalty. 5 hits

DV 10p, AP -5, 4/15 rounds remaining

[Map of Seattle] [Map of Humanis Hideout]

The bullet from Nomad's gun blows through Crewcut's head clean through, giving him the closest shave of his life as he stumbles onto the ground. The ignored man with the shotgun from the next room, however, closes up to the door, and the pump-action shotgun in his hands lets loose a barrage of flechette onto Nomad. His first shot flies high as Nomad nimbly dodges under the hail, but the second bites into his suit.

The shriek of the stout woman, though, seems to rise over the gunshots as she leaps over the table, showering Wraith in a river of lead as she seems to close in for the kill.

The door of the garage continues to open despite the explosion visibly buffeting the metal out. Road-Rage sees the carnage of torn-apart boxes, shattered glass and burnt out machine parts, though through the ringing of his ears, he hears the slamming of a car door.

Keeping my Ares Predator out, just in case. I guess it will take me three to four actions to get there, based on how long the dog took?

Glass keeps his head down on the stairs, looking round for anything suitably flammable, while maintaining the armor spell on Sun.

[Map of Seattle] [Map of Humanis Hideout]

@Blacksap It took the dog a little less, but it was also looking for your trail. Four actions seems about right, given your speed.

Wraith raises her machine pistol at the raging maniac next to her, only to have it slapped away, the APDS bullets flying through a trid-screen at the end of the room. Two more barrages from the woman seemingly fly over the street sam. You can't help but think, if footage of that fight was in a trid, you'd watch the hell out of it.

Sunset's bullet flies towards the man with the shotgun, but it appears that despite everything, he's at least decent at keeping his head down. The man nimbly twists back into cover, before shooting out a couple of flechette shots back at Sunset, though it's clear he's not quite a marksman, as the metal barbs stick into the wallpaper a clear foot away from Sunset.

Road-Rage's second grenade explodes downstairs. The garage door, almost opened, billows the last foot of its corrugated metal outside, to reveal a once-white GMC Escalade. The driver-side door is buffeted in, its GMC SafetyGlass™ barely holding on to dear life. A man with seemingly heavy burns hides behind the wheel, though you see a familiar man from your recon of the house, dressed in a plaid suit, run and practically leap into the open backdoor of the SUV. The lone surviving headlight of the car lights up, as the driver locks his shell-shocked eyes at Road-Rage's Titan blocking the exit.

Botting R-R. Also, Nomad, you get to have an extra turn!

Sunset's revolver shoots clean through the mook's shoulder, though it seems that the penetration was almost too good, as he grunts out in pain, ducking further back into the room, shoving cartridges into his shotgun. The only response to Wraith's teasing is a furious howl, as Raquel manages to keep the SMG turned away right until the last moment, where a bullet grazes her thigh.

Road-Rage aims his trusty AK towards the screen of the van, and pulls the trigger... only to feel a loud *ching* in his hands, signalling that the bullet has jammed. Not content to let his quarry escape, however, he taps the side of his head, the feel of rain and wind on his face replaced by the feel of cold, wet tarmac under his wheels, as he pushes the vehicle down the slope, colliding headfirst into the escaping vehicle. While the crash is at slow speed, the revving and screeching of the wheels of the two monstrous vehicles on the wet tarmac, as they butt plate to plate brings a smile to the gob's face, as he clears the jammed bullet, ready to bring carnage once more.

The armoured woman seems to have barely noticed the gash on her thigh, as she takes a step backwards, unleashing a full barrage onto the nimbly dodging Wraith. The barking of the Ares Alpha sending a hail of lead towards the samurai. At the end of the barrage, however, she hears the glorious sound of an empty magazine from the AR.

Wraith grins mirthlessly as the HAILSTORM of bullets collapses at her, and finds but small purchase through her armor and augmentations. A small chirp in her inner workings notes that her damage compensators are working at capacity.

The bullet from the AK flies straight through the window, though the driver has the reactions to swiftly duck his head under the wheel as Road-Rage's bullet pierces the window, the hardened plastic bending and turning less transparent around the bullethole. The rear door of the car opens up, with a hand with a chequered suit attached to a clearly stressed man points a large and very ornate revolver at the hobgoblin. Road-Rage, though, after years of experience on the streets, knows very well that when a window rolls down, it's best to dash for cover first and ask questions later. The bullet clangs off the sidewalk, and as he turns to the side, he sees Blacksap sprinting on for dear life, sniper rifle in hand, appearing from around the corner. Say 40 meters/three houses away? You can see the back of the Titan revving into the garage and Road-Rage taking cover, but not much else.

As the gunfight between mere (or not-so-mere) mortals continues, guns, fists and chrome moving at speeds most people can't see, let alone move at, Glass is unconcerned with the material. His palm lands on the hardwood floor, covered in blood and brass, and a ripple of force bursts through, almost carrying the woman two feet in the air in a violent shake. The broken body falls down a moment later, as if suspended by magic, and she seems to remain silent. A blast from a Warhawk echoes from below the stairs, and the sound of screeching tires carries over through the air. The response in the area being what it is, it's probably a good idea to make like a tree. There is probably another way down from there, but running to the outside should be just as quick.

Road-Rage pauses behind his cover, pausing to give a heads up over the comms;

<Breeder in a chessboard suit packing a shiny piece took a pop at me. One of you wetworkers spring a leak in him quicktime eh, I got wheels to turn.>

The hob shoulders his AK and retrieves a canister from his utility vest...

<Point me at him.> huffs Blacksap, reaching the van after sprinting across the road.

Do I see Chessboard Suit?

Sunset, the mook's downstairs, driving the car. You and Nomad got the one upstairs good. Despite his excellent soaking rolls.

Blacksap, you can see him ducking through the rear door, yes.

"You all good? Glass, you and me let's get any Intel or goods we can score, then see about torching this place. Ladies, perhaps RR and Blacksap would appreciate your ballistic assistance?"

Nomad does just that, heading for their meeting room and looking for goods or data to acquire.

Lovely, I'll take a few shots in my next pass.

[Map of Seattle] [Map of Humanis Hideout]

Since it's just movement, I'm thinking I might just bot some people.

As Nomad and Glass start rummaging through the room, the first thing that crosses their mind is that, undoubtedly, the commlink of either of the leaders is bound to have some interesting information on it. The loading of unknown boxes in the secondary garage is also curious, though time is short. Need to know if you're looking for loot, or mission-relevant information/data.

Wraith and Sun rush to the grounds, just in time to see the chequered suit retreat inside the Escalade. Only a second later, you see the tank-top clad figure of the driver leap out of the back of the fairly beat up car, and leap into the house, running for dear life and more. The Warhawk flies out of the car's window, clammering on the ground. The mook is in full cover. You can probably catch up to him easily, if someone wants to try. Other than that, if you choose not to pursue, you're out of combat. You're pretty sure KE's probably just about to jump into their cars.

Nomad is looking for data first, useable material later. Credsticks are a close third.

"See if you can grab their 'links. CrewCut, crazy Amazon slitch, and the guy bugging out, for sure. Dunno what else they have stashed around, but we gotta move quick chummers."

11d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 5, 4, 5, 2, 2, 4, 3, 5, 1) = 40 visual perception to give the place a once-over (after vision boosts and wound penalties). 4 hits

"Commlinks, check. See if there's any local storage we can lift. Grab and run sounds good."
Glass will help himself to the 'links, and any cash off the bodies.

If any of the furnishings look flammable he'll throw an Ignite spell at the likeliest looking candidate to torch the place.

Sun goes and grabs the warhawk from where it fell.

"Let's skate chummers! Time is getting short and the KE will be swarming all over this place soon!"

[Map of Seattle] [Map of Humanis Hideout]

Just to mention, though, if you're lifting commlinks, it's pretty wise to leave them 'off' practically at all time. And it's heavily hinted at that looting most weapons and stuff is a bad idea, since everything from guns to chocolate bars has AR trackers in it.

Ruffling through the bodies, Nomad quickly takes off the gilded commlink off the armoured woman's wrist and a hand-held pad from Crewcut's corpse, though at a first glance, the room reveals nothing else of significance. His attention, though, is pointed towards an object that would be ancient even a century ago - a typewriter, with a folder of loose paper on the table in the back of the living room, a sheet still in the block.

Glass' pyromanic senses point him towards the most likely candidates for ignition - the multiple bookcases around the house, as well as the thick and luscious carpet covering the floor of the room where the house's late inhabitants have been meeting. With some help, the house may probably be ablaze fairly soon.

Sunset darts forwards, picking up the massive revolver. While the weapon seems ordinary, the wooden finish seems rather nice.

The resistance from the Escalade seems to weaken with the driver's departure, and Road-Rage's seen an autopilot's dogbrain taking over a collision more times than he's had warm dinners. The breaks lock, and the car is slowly pushed towards the back wall of the garage, the amber emergency lights covering the garage with pulsating colour. The next step for the usual dogbrain would be to report the accident and remain in place. The inhabitant appears to have remained still.

So, to summarise:

Nomad and Glass are digging through the house upstairs, considering arson. Wraith, Sunset, Blacksap and R-R are next to the garage, where the other car appears to have been taken out of commission, and you have little doubt that the police are coming soon.

As far as you know, the last remaining people are Samuel, trapped in the car, and the mook that fled into the house.

"RR, Blacksap, what's the switch? We got some intel, prob gonna torch this place quick like. Anyone hurt?"

Nomad quickly powers off the commlinks, then grabs up the hard copy paperwork. After a second of hesitation, he grabs the whole antique typewriter as well before heading out to the ride.

"Coming out, I'm ready to roll."

Well, I've got no real idea how setting something on fire with magic works, but we're supposed to trash the place, so I figure a bit of overkill can't hurt (much)

Glass picks a bookcase near the exit, and flips open a couple of books on one of the shelves. He then stares at the books, his eyes glow, and a flicker of flame appears around the books.

Ignite, Force 10
spellcasting: 11d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 1, 2, 1, 2, 5, 2, 4, 2, 2) = 33 with a point of edge: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 4, 5) = 17
two sixes: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 2) = 7 gives a grand total of 5 hits.

resist 9 points of drain: 12d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 1, 6, 2, 4, 1, 3, 1, 6, 3, 6) = 43 - 4 hits, so 5 points of stun.

Glass continues staring until the books catch, then makes a rather tired run for the van.

From the fire damage rules (p171) the force gets used as a sort of armour penetration value type thing (AV + Fire resitance - Fire AP vs hits above).
but Ignite (p293) has hits vs Object Resistance dice pool for something catching fire.
Help?

Just as a reminder - the employer's exact words were 'I want them out', and they also mentioned that they'd love to get their hands on some information, if possible.

The typewriter is... heavy. For someone used to a world of plastic, aluminium and chrome, the cinderblock of cast iron surprises Nomad with its weight, probably north of thirty pounds. Shuffling it awkwardly, he dashes down the stairs to glance at Glass' gaze turning the bookcases to ashes in front of his very eyes. Even for an experienced runner, the sight of a mage's unleashed power is... a thing to behold. The bookcases snap aflame, the smell of burning paper and singed wood starting to fill the room as soon as you follow Nomad down the stairs.

Glass, those books never saw what hit 'em. Though, I'd suggest doing it at Force 6, rather than 10, since all force above your current Magic turns your drain from Stun to Physical. I'll go ahead and assume that that's what you prefer?

Magic:

Yup! Most Indirect magic spells (Meaning you use stuff you've created, such as fire, ice, or mind-sabers) have an AP of -Force. Which can help do fire damage even to things that aren't usually flammable. But a Force 6 spell with that AP against a book... Well. It's on fire, then it's ashes, then said ashes are on fire.

Dodge: 8d6 Armor: 18, Body 3. Init: 7+1d6 (currently 8+2d6) Physical: 0/10. Stun: 10/11

"What the frag is this thing made of, lead? Who the drek uses something so fraggin' old and heavy and stupid?"

Nomad almost skids to a stop as Glass vaporizes some books with a look, then keeps beating feet.

"Okay, that did it, lets roll."

OK, we'll do Force 6. I read it as hits above Magic rather than Force. That'd bring the drain down as well (= force - 1), so it'd just be 1 point of stun (I think)

Road-Rage ignores the scavenging, instead using the canister (which is a tin of spray paint) to decorate the bonnet of the Escalade with a jagged smile

Symbol he sprays...

Nomad's urging to roll snaps the hob's concentration and he heads into the Titan.

"Ready to roll... Anyone call for an NUber?"

Calmly walking towards the SUV, Blacksap raises the Ares Predator and fires one shot towards the guy trapped in the Escalade, just in case he can get rid of him without bothering to switch weapons. "Feelin' artsy, chummer? Let's mop up and do our best impression of someone who's not here."

Pistols: 9d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 3, 6, 6, 5, 6, 4, 4) = 41 - 4 hits, 8P damage, AP -1

[Map of Seattle] [Map of Humanis Hideout]

Note that the window is closed, so the bullet would have to go through the car's soak first.

The man's eyes blink as Blacksap's pistol barks into the garage, though the expression on his face remains... calm. Almost unnaturally calm for a man in the same situation as his. The bullet smashes into the thick ballistic glass, buring itself a quarter of an inch into the window. As Road-Rage sprays his message onto the hood of the car, Blacksap can see Samuel's mouth curling up in a wicked smile, and he starts chuckling silently behind the glass. Teasingly, he raises his eyebrows at the street sam, before tucking his hands into his coat's pockets the same way a pedestrian going on a walk would.

Rolls:

Soak: 26d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 1, 1, 5, 4, 2, 3, 1, 5, 3, 4, 2, 6, 4, 1, 3, 1, 4, 6, 5, 6, 1, 6, 6, 4) = 92

Dodge: 8d6 Armor: 18, Body 3. Init: 7+1d6 (currently 8+2d6) Physical: 0/10. Stun: 10/11

"Pistol ain't gonna cut it, chummer. I got another gas grenade, can chuck that it and let the fragger choke on his stupid smile. Or whip out that big boomstick and blast him good."

Are any of the windows down/shot out? Nomad pulls his pepper punch gas grenade and prepares to deploy it.

"Hey, hoop breath! If you can hear me, and wanna not get a lungful of concentrated pepper burn, come out with your hands up. Otherwise, I'm gonna smoke you out."

There's a bullet-hole on the windshield, but it's... well. Bullet-sized. Although, we're now officially out of initiative!
