Toban waits for his siblings to go first, then follows. He takes the same path they did (black arrows) until the trio of central bushes ends, then he goes the other way, getting close to some shrubs, and then up the stairs (finishing with the yellow arrows I added for the last part)

Jastrokan starts the movment towards the stairs leading to the door on the opposite side of the garden. As he starts out he slips on a large fallen limb, and it makes a snapping sound...

From the ballroom deck, he hears a voice, "What's that? I heard something...thought I saw something as well..."

However, he quickly recovers his footing and stays both quiet and unseen as he proceeds...

"Oh, well...I don't see anything now, must've been a squirrel..."

Jastrokan makes it safely over the stairs where he huddles to await his companions. Rosie, and then Toban, has an easier time of it and reach their brother unseen as well...

Giving it a little time after hearing someone on the balcony react to Jastrokan's small fumble and also waiting to see if Lovissa makes it and joins him before he makes his attempting to mimic Toban.

Lovissa starts to run the gauntlet; she fares well at first but then startles several birds in a bush she's moving by, causing her to gasp slightly when they scatter...

Again, a voice calls out from the deck, "I know I heard someone that time..."

However, Lovissa recovers quickly from her faux pas, and after a minute hears the same voice, "Bah! I see nothing now. Someone really must tell the ambassador he has a serious squirrel problem! We need to get back to the gala any way..."

She makes her way safely the rest of the way and the party of Pathfinders is complete once more, eying the door at the top of the stairs...

While Jastrokan and Toban can't hear much, Rosie's ears prove to be sharper and she can hear what sounds like platters banging around occasionally and the sound of swinging double doors opening and closing...upon cracking open the door slightly, she and her brothers see...

What likely used to be a side chapel is now in use as a staging area for the gala. Magnificent stained-glass windows and vaulted ceilings look down on the racks of platters, dishes, wine bottles, and glasses stacked neatly on long wooden tables.

This area is a hive of activity. The doors to the garden and to the servants’ passage aren’t seeing much use but the double doors to the south gallery are constantly opening and closing as platters of hors d’oeuvres and other gala necessities are shuttled through to the ballroom.

As servants seem to come and go with refreshment platters, only the double doors in the upper west portion of the room appear to be in much use...

...So we could try quietly moving around the east wall and the south wall to those single doors that aren't being used much, but Lovissa clearly doesn't belong here. Toban, Rosie and Jastrokan might be able to get by, though. I think this is a good time to make Lovissa (or Cerryl?) look like that pompous lady, or look like a generic guard in a dress uniform like she was wearing. (I'd prefer generic officer in a dress uniform). Thoughts?

Rosie waits for a time when no one seems to be looking and then tries to slip past, being very quiet and acting like a servant on an errand for someone. She goes along the back wall and then bottom wall and out through the unused door.

She sees a narrow hallway...as all hands are on deck for the gala, it's deserted. She sees a series of three doors on the hallway's northern wall...

Unsure about impersonating the a guard himself and I don't think Lovissa can cast the scroll. Cerryl decides to use a double casting of Forced Quiet on himself and Lovissa right after he informs her of his intentions.

Changed out most of the fighting spells for my level 1 slots to this since I figured we really hope we don't get into a fight, and it gives a +4 to stealth for 3 rounds based on my caster level.

Toban makes a grand entrance, giving the hors d'oeuvres his own personal touch and flourish; the servers are impressed, assuming he was brought in especially for the gala...once done, he joins the his sibling and Cerryl in the hallway...

Lovissa tries to time her break and get through the room...

It sounds quiet enough to Toban and he opens the door to take a peek and sees...

The furniture in this luxurious sitting room is covered by drop-cloths, and buckets of paint sit against walls where erotic murals are in the process of being replaced by a neutral institutional taupe. An enormously tall gilt frame leans against the wall. A door to the east leads to a hallway, while to the southwest a door is propped open by a bucket and displays the half-dissolved inscription, “Where Love Comes to Die.”

Looking through the open door into the next chamber, Jastrokan and Rosie see...

This extravagant bedchamber is dominated by a massive four-poster bed that takes up half the room. Red-varnished wardrobes and vanities complement the black silk sheets on the bed, which appears to be in the process of being dismantled. The walls of the room have been stripped of the portraits that once hung there, faint outlines of the art pieces being all that remain. The exception to this is the eastern wall, which is occupied by an elaborate woodcutting depicting but a single nymph in a seductive pose, garbed in nothing but a necklace bearing an amulet shaped like the Asmodean star.
