Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Toban taps his lip. POP POP POP! He shifts uncomfortably a bit. "Hmmm... We should take precautionary measures. Antitoxin, perhaps."
Buying two antitoxin.
Cerryl Grey

Making a quick stop on the way Cerryl replenishes the CLW potions he used in the last mission while debating if there is anything else that they need.
GM Otha

After making any last minute purchases, the Pathfinders have just enough time to gather their gear and board the Opparan Opal before it casts off. Sailing to Riddleport goes smoothly and you arriver there just as dawn breaks, sailing under the immense Cyphergate to enter the harbor and dock. You disembark into the already busy docks of Riddleport….
From Cerryl's knowledge checks in Magnimar, you already know the location of the warehouse with stolen goods is around the area marked 'A' on the map...
Lovissa Halenbane

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
"Blast! The Topaz Titan is due to arrive in only two days! We haven't much time. Shall we start with a search for the warehouse?"
To A!
GM Otha
|
Heeding Lovissa's suggestion, you head straight over to the rumored warehouse...
The foul mucky weather is enough to make any possible source of refuge look at least a little more hospitable, but the tattered sides of this rundown building have clearly seen better days. The waterlogged boards that hold it up have numerous holes that have been boarded over with newer planks. The warehouse's few windows are high off the ground and intermittently broken; those still intact are far too grimy to see through anyway. While the building itself hardly looks like a viable base of operation, a flicker of light can be seen from within. The east and west loading doors are closed, as well as the narrower south door, which has a sliding peephole built into it at eye level.
Jastrokan Tangletop
|
Jastrokan buys two antitoxin on the way to the warehouse.
Jastrokan draws a quick shield in the air on front of him, each brushstroke glowing brightly before vanishing. Casting resistance on myself.
Looking at the building he says. "I think we should make a distraction on one side of the building so they come outside to check it out. Then we can sneak in the other side. What do you think?"
Rosie Tangletop
|
"I think we should go to the big door over there."
She sneaks over to the door and looks at it.
Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Toban Tangletop
|
"I agree with Rosie. We should all stick together and go through those doors here."
Toban casts virtue on Rosie and himself. Then he follows Rosie over to the door.
Stealth: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
GM Otha
|
While Jastrokan casts a spell, Rosie and Toban sneak over to the western loading doors. Rosie determines that these heavy doors are securely barred from the inside...and she deems they are probably beyond the strength of anyone in the party to break down...
Cerryl Grey
|
Walking up to the door.
Not sure stealth matters...are there people on the street/in the area or is it deserted in which case I would try to sneak...just a +1 modifier for that though.
Cerryl attempts to peak in and see what is holding the door in place...wondering if he could potentially eat through it with some of the acid he has on his person or if it is too thick.
If not then will probably ask Lovissa if she thinks she could get through it with an Enlarge person spell...though kinda wondering if there is a way to get a password from a tavern to enter that way as a secondary option.
GM Otha
|
This far end of the dock is not so busy as the rest, and has no ship currently docked there and y'all did notice a light flickering inside the warehouse. Also, there are other entrances...
Lovissa Halenbane
|
Lovissa heads over to the second loading door, curious if it's also barred from the inside.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18
If it is she leads the others to the final, small door, and check to see if it's locked or trapped.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31
GM Otha
|
Lovissa finds the east loading door barred similar to the west one...
When she checks out the smaller southern door, she can discern that it sees considerably more traffic and notices a closed peephole at eye level...more importantly, she can see that the flimsy lock barely holding the door shut should be easy pickings for a woman with her skills. Lovissa is certain the door is not trapped.
Rosie Tangletop
|
Rosie sneaks up behind Lovissa, ready to head inside as soon as Lovissa opens the door.
Jastrokan Tangletop
|
Jastrokan tries to see if he can trick the people inside into coming out. He goes to the side loading doors and bangs on it really loud. "HEY! IF THERE'S ANYONE IN HERE YOU BETTER COME OUT! THE DOOR'S ON FIRE!"
Then he paints a picture of some smoke in the air and sends in under the loading door doors.
Silent image, DC 14.
Toban Tangletop
|
Glaive in hand, Toban casts virtue on Jastrokan.
Cerryl Grey
|
Welp not sure if that will be better or worse...no surprise...but then again maybe the hired help will just run instead.
Thinking these things to himself, Cerryl moves behind Toban and Lovissa ready to enter the warehouse and search for any clues to where the pirate queen might be hiding.
GM Otha
|
Jastrokan tries a sly bit of trickery as he casts his spell and the Pathfinders await to see what may happen...
...but, if anyone was in there, they don't react in a noticeable way to the illusion...
Lovissa Halenbane
|
Disable Device: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
Lovissa picks the lock, draws her sword, and opens the door, being sure to stand in front of the other Pathfinders in case the enemy launches an ambush against them.
Jastrokan Tangletop
|
Jastrokan keeps up his smoke illusion for now, making it also glow red a but on this side of the door.
GM Otha
|
As Lovissa opens the door, she can see into the warehouse as it's lit normally...she sees stacks of crates lining the warehouse but she doesn't see any people in this section of the warehouse...
The stack of crates delineate the building and form sections and hallways within the warehouse...a 'hallway' leads north...
Cerryl Grey
|
Staying to the side Cerryl waits for Lovissa to make her way inside.
Whipering. Should we try to open the bigger doors and have another way out if we need to retreat?
Toban Tangletop
|
Toban refreshes the virtue spell on himself and waits alongside Jastrokan one more round, just in case anyone leaves the warehouse out this door (or Lovissa opens it).
Lovissa Halenbane
|
Lovissa casts lead blades on herself then enters the warehouse, moving slowly with her sword in hand.
Perception (to look for traps as she goes): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
If she gets as far as the smoky loading doors without trouble she attempts to unbar them.
GM Otha
|
Lovissa, finding no traps, easily makes her way to the western loading doors, unbars and opens them, finding Jastrokan and Toban standing before her...
Jastrokan Tangletop
|
Jastrokan stops concentrating on his spell, sneaks around the crates, and peeks around the corner.
Stealth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Rosie Tangletop
|
Rosie hurries over to Toban, waits for him to come inside, and then follows him deeper into the warehouse.
GM Otha
|
Jastrokan sees another makeshift hallway heading east...it is empty of people...
Toban Tangletop
|
Toban step in, glaive in hand, then casts virtue on Lovissa.
Rosie Tangletop
|
Rosie follows Jastrokan into the hall.
Jastrokan Tangletop

Jastrokan heads down the hallway and peeks around the next corner.
Lovissa Halenbane

Lovissa steps in front of the gnomes and looks around.

As soon as Jastrokan peeks around the corner, a sailor with a crossbow fires at him...
Crossbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 1
...and strikes the gnome a glancing blow as he moves 5' forward to give the two friends behind him a shot as well...the first fires another at Jastrokan while the second sees Lovissa stride forward and targets her...
Crossbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Crossbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
...but both miss!
Lovissa: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Rosie: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Jastrokan: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Cerryl: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21
Sailors: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
They totally surprise the Pathfinders and follow up their initial attacks.
The nearest sailor drops his crossbow, draws his saber, moves 5' and slashes at Lovissa. One of the crossbowmen fires at Jastrokan and the other at Lovissa…
Saber: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Crossbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Crossbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

Attempting to catch up and only reaching Toban when he hears the crossbow bolts thud into the wall ahead. He pauses and waits to allow Toban to move in front of him into the tight corridor while drawing out his crossbow and loading it.
Move to this point and guess another action to load my crossbow...cant really see any way I could help this round due to distance and tightness of the corridor.

I love it...that intro never gets old!

Rosie's throw is very accurate as it strikes the blue dude square upon the side of his head...Jastrokan shakes off the grazing damage of the bolt but his aim is just a tad high with his brush...
The two sailors fire their crossbows, the blue at Rosie and the red at Jastrokan…
Crossbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Crossbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
