So...if a half-elf and a gnome had a child...what would you call it?
A half-gnome?
A quarter-Elf?
A quarter-Human?
Thoughts?

I'd call it an amazing family full of LOVE and hugs and kissy's and hubba hubba! <wink>
And I vote for our love child the child to be refered to as a half-gnelf.
Why is my heart so pitter-pattery? And my knees are so weak.

As may be typical for many people from the US on these boards, tomorrow is the Thanksgiving holiday, which gives many of us a long weekend. I'll be busy much of this time with family and other obligations, and may not be able to post much after today--if at all--until Sunday. Please feel free to bot Kasvot if necessary!

Ditto so no worries. Happy Thanksgiving!

Understood Think its starfinder where stowing or drawing a weapon can be done as part of a move action. Apologies for the goof

Page 183 of the CRB has a really good table (also found here) which covers most actions. There is a separate action for drawing and for sheathing a weapon.
Drawing a weapon (or weapon like object) is a move action that doesn't provoke and with a BAB of +1 or more can be done while moving.
Sheathe a weapon (or weapon like object) is a move action that does provoke and does not have the bonus BAB of +1 benefit.
Do I wish it were not so complicated, yes!
Do I also have issues mixing up Version 1, Starfinder and Version 2 rules, also yes! :D

Also, no apologies necessary! I try to let as much as possible slide or work around things when possible. But I have to stick really tightly to the action economy rules because that directly affects the fight difficulty.

I just realized (LGZ mentioned it to me in a PM) that False Life is a personal spell. But since I was the idiot that suggested to my wife do what she did with Niza, I'll just let it slide this time. I also don't think it will greatly effect this fight.

Bah, I realized that the DC for the save is 13, not 11. The save DC is based on my Charisma, not Cleric level. It's only 2 more points of damage, so maybe not a huge difference? Posting from work so I didn't get a chance to double check until now.
I did see this, an extra 2 damage would not have dropped the enemy and Fromagalli took it out regardless of the extra 2.

I'm talking with LGZ in PM's about the question on squeezing with a 2 size difference. Anyone know of relevant rules? I'm only seeing stuff about being allowed to move through an enemy square if there is a 3 size difference and the squeezing section doesn't mention size differences at all.
It doesn't matter this combat, obviously. But I'd like to get it figured out for future situations of 'large liet-gar'. I'll make a GM call if nothing specifically points one way or the other.

We also still do have legit things to complete, so please post what your characters are doing next in game, it may still effect the outcome. You may find your mission briefing here if you need to reference it.
Anyway, as we are wrapping things up I'd like to ask about our group's next planned session. Most of us should be lvl 5 on the dot, some might be slightly higher. Some might be swapping back to their other characters (Merisal The Risen mentioned something about not being able to get into the headspace of his PC, Fromagalli).
I mainly wanted to know everyone's plans. I would like to run the seven-fingers series for you all which starts with Hall of the Flesh Eaters (1-5), then The Labyrinth of Hungry Ghosts (3-7), then Hrethnar's Throne (5-9) and eventually wraps up with On Sevenfingers's Sails (7-11).
I'm sure a few of you have played some or all of those scenarios, maybe even in Core. If so, do you have a replay(s) available that you would use?
Other than that, I'd love to get a chance to play in between a few of those sessions. I've got a Cleric I've been dumping all my GM chronicles into from this group, so she will be a matching level.

I plan for two levels of bard. Also plan on buying a +2 CHA & WIS item asap. WIS just to be able to cast Bless a second time, so maybe that stat first and upgrade later.
Looking forward to keeping things moving, even if some characters are swapped out.
I would be willing to burn a replay on Hall of the Flesh Eaters, but I'm pretty sure everything else is available to me in CORE.

I've gm'd and played almost all in standard but I should be good for all in core.
I'll be picking up my last two levels of fighter and the feats "Spring Attack" and "Whirlwind Attack". Level 6 I start shadow dancer prestige.
Gear-wise, I hope to get my cold iron weapon magical and if funds left over a handy haversack. We'll see

I'm going to need dayjob rolls for this session from all except Vie. Go ahead and tack on your re-roll if you have it left and wish to use it. There isn't enough left to be super concerned about saving it.

Dimple will move heaven and earth to watch that performance. Please tell me it is the Golarian equivalent to Chippendale's.

The dwarves do have a customary dance that involves pork grease, minimal clothing and a lot of hair twirling. They call it ChippenBears. Close enough? ;)

Dimple pulls out her coin purse, How do I exchange these for singles? ALL of the singles.

Omrika Protecta of the pretties here. Canary said my skills would be appappapa.. My skills wouul be most useful
This is my half orc Paladin with a level of rogue who would be most interested in the seven fingers quadrology (although she may struggle with the word quadrology ) Merisiel the risen (the level of rogue came first she is a reformed criminal who sometimes finds her old skills useful I have played the first three in standard but not core (even ran the first)

GM TOP |

Working up the chronicles. Should be finished today. We'd be happy to have a mighty pally/rogue in the group going forwards.
Anyone else thinking about swapping PC's?

![]() |

Well, I'm not certain what LGZ is doing after the honeymoon?, but Dimple will be here.
Right here.
Waiting.
For as long as it takes.

GM TOP |

Alright, Chronicles are here!
I filled them all out based upon the assumption that every PC wishes to be lvl 5. So you got 3 XP for the module and 3 XP for the bonus chronicle. For most of you adding this to the prior two sections would give you 12 XP, enough to be exactly lvl 5.
If any of you wish to do a different setup or sacrifice a level to gain the alternate boons I'm happy to redo your chronicles. Just let me know!

![]() |

All looks good to me.
WOOHOO!
Some official unoptimized Dimple-fied leveling.
FIFTH LEVEL, HERE I AM!!
***********
I really hope you have all been having as much fun as I have.
TOP, I really enjoy the style and gameplay of your tables.

![]() |

After much serious cogitation, including a couple shots, I have decided to forgo the level and take the rest of the stuff on the sheet just to be different.
TOP you are an excellent GM and have a very good style for PbP gaming.
The rest of you are a very good group. You have sufficient interaction to make things fun and memorable. Kudos! I would ask to stick around, but I'm just not that 'into' either of my core PCs as compared to my standard PCs.
Thanks for letting me finish out this set of modules with you.

GM TOP |

Glad you enjoyed yourself Vie, thank you. Your updated chronicle should be up and have replaced the old one in the same location.
Thanks Dimple! That means a lot. :D

I think the consensus of the group (I've talked to Niza and LGZ outside the game) is to continue along, starting with the first sevenfingers game next. I'll probably get the game up and put a link to it in this thread over the Holiday break, with a start time of early January.

![]() |

Dimple, you're stuck with me for now. ;-)
LGZ leveled up for the most part. Need to decide what stat boost I took at 4 and spend some cash.

Rethinking the plan as Omrijka only third level
Also thinking we will need to do something else before the fourth sevenfingers as I think we would still only be level 6
I was thinking From under Ice 6-18 is another grinning pixie adventure 1-5 with natural follow up tapestry’s toil 6 19 I think
And fo our third adventure there is perils of the pirate pact from season 2 I believe
Another option would be the heresy of man series a3 part 5-9 adventure
Just chucking ideas forward
May also offer masks of the living god as an option to get Omrijka caught up

GM TOP |

All good thoughts and yes, the fourth part of sevenfingers would be at least after an extra three scenarios or a three xp module to get everyone to the minimum lvl seven, assuming we all started at five or above of course. If you wish to play Omrijka, that won't be an issue. We'll just have a few more scenarios to run to get her caught up close enough.
For the short term though I was planning on running the first part right now and then just fit the next three in among other games as we go back to trading off on GM'ing (assuming one or two of you are willing to run a game here or there).

GM TOP |

Alright, we are up and running towards our next murder-hobo scenario, huzzah!
Please check in here and follow the prompts. Once you've all made it over, I'll mark this module as inactive. See you there!

Forgo your Downtime to map ley lines attuned to the elements. Doing so requires a successful Craft (maps), Knowledge (geography), Knowledge (planes), or Profession (cartographer) check with a DC equal to 15 + your character level.
Knowledge (planes) DC 18: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
